  1. many variables, but we are not in driver's seat unless we flex NOW IF he doesn't move this January and there is no 2024 £97.5m (€110m) release clause then it comes down to summer 2023 and we may well have no CL to offer, which dooms us IF there IS a 2024 release clause, then in theory we could well have CL to offer in summer 2024 BUT so many clubs will come for him and I rate Real Madrid (by then they will be in desperate need, likely, for a CB, especially a left-footer, Alaba will be 32, and Rudiger turns 32 three months before the end of the 2024/05 season) Barca (they will likely have money by then to spend) Citeh Pool (if Klopp is still there then) Man U provided they all have CL to offer as being able to outpull us (and all can afford a £97.5m pound buy, probably even Barca by then) not sure about PSG, I would need to know more about his feelings about Ligue 1 and France in general, but obviously money would not be an issue for them by then
  2. that depends IF West Ham get relegated
  3. Keep up this good form into the knockout stages of the tournament, and Croatia might be indebted to Gvardiol for potentially reaching another final. On a personal level, the more excellent performances he churns out, the more likely he is to be rewarded with a move away from Leipzig. If his recent admission is anything to go by, Madrid is the location he’d love to land in. “Real Madrid is the biggest club in the world, so who knows… maybe one day I can play there. I would like to, yes,” admitted Gvardiol when asked about the club’s apparently interested in his services. “Luka (Modric) doesn’t have to tell me anything about Real Madrid, there’s no need. I already know everything, I know it’s the biggest club in the world and how important it is to be linked to such a team.” That’s got to hurt if you are of a Chelsea persuasion. https://www.thechelseachronicle.com/player-quotes/biggest-club-77m-world-cup-star-says-he-wants-to-sign-for-real-madrid-after-claims-Chelsea-could-bid/
  4. I would not have went blonde, lol it's a jinx too 🤣
  5. Otamendi (of course) and Florentino Luis (Enzo's pivot partner, who was overrun a lot) had poor games, as did WC hat trick Gonçalo Ramos Enzo had some superb crosses but Benfica were inept in the box 3 nil FT
  6. we signed him (he is Argentine though) from a Chilean club, Audax Italiano he never played topflight ball in Argentina until 2020, with San Lorenzo, then left for Turkey in 2022, then Mexico,, and is now back in Chile starting in 2023
  7. 3 nil Benfica's unbeaten league season is gone
  8. stream https://www.vipleague.st/braga-vs-benfica-1-live-streaming they are down 2 nil
  9. here is an 'out of left field' CB to watch Micky van de Ven 21yo, 1.93m tall left-footed Dutch speed burner (faster clocked pure defender in the Bundesliga this season so far, 7th fastest player overall) only Bayern and Freiburg have allowed less goals so far than Wolfsburg, and they have really tightened up lately
  10. Shakhtar want an insane £85m for him (maybe they will pitch in some to buy weapons against Putin, lol)
  11. removing Enzo and Bellingham the CMF/DMFs left that I rate Nicolò Barella (probably impossible atm) Moisés Caicedo Roméo Lavia Manu Koné Alexis Mac Allister Martín Zubimendi Bruno Guimarães (likely will not leave) Mikel Merino Frenkie de Jong Amadou Onana Marcos Llorente Danilo Khéphren Thuram Manuel Ugarte
  12. so Leicester have scored all 3 goals!
  13. shit, forgot to post this stream https://www.sportfacts.net/sports/2022/premier-league-liverpool-vs-leicester-city-s1/
  14. He is far pacier than a couple people were saying when they called him slow and lumbering he is tall with long legs, but does not have an very overly bulky body type like some of the big boys do The only CB 1.88cm (6-2) or taller and who is younger than Badiashile and is even valued (atm) at over €20m (ie £17.7m) is Nathan Collins at Wolves (€22m ie £19.5m) and he is not an option I would choose at all as of now. For CBs of any height, the only ones younger than Badi who are even valued at £20m or above atm are Gvardiol and Jurrien Timber (£39.8m) (the only 2 CBs valued above Badi who are younger than he is), plus Piero Hincapié (£22.1m), and Gonçalo Inácio (£20.4m). All but Timber are left-footed. In this list right below you see the same names I have been talking about over and over in the past (most of these are no longer available) Ronald Araújo (gutted we could not pull him) Milan Skriniar (so hope we at least make a huge effort) Alessandro Bastoni (will never leave if Skriniar does, and even if Sriniar renews, Bastoni will be insanely hard to prise away from Italy) Bremer Antonio Rüdiger (talking about him in terms of stupidly letting him go) Aymeric Laporte (too old now to pay what Citeh will demand, and seems to have lost pace after his last major injury, although he was never a speed merchant) Nico Schlotterbeck Evan Ndicka Here are the top 25 (in terms of valuations) 'tall' (6-2 and up, ie 188cm and up) centre backs (so a very large sample) of any age Badiashile is in the top 10, tied with Bremer, Rudiger, Varane, and Gabriel at 8th, and if you go 6-3 and up (1.91cm and above) he is 4th, he is trailing only Saliba, Pau Torres (no, pass, he IS far slower than Badi), and VVD
  15. and if we can pull Youssoufa Moukoko Simakan (CB and RB) renewed so is off the table, fuck
  16. He was first called up for the Argie senior national team 14 months ago, on 3 November 2021. Did not play though. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enzo_Fernández On 24 July 2019, Fernández was selected by the Argentina U18s manager Esteban Solari to represent his nation at the 2019 COTIF Tournament in Spain. On 3 November 2021, he was called up by Argentina national team manager Lionel Scaloni for two 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Brazil and Uruguay. He made his senior team debut on 24 September 2022, by coming on as a 64th-minute substitute for Leandro Paredes in a 3–0 win against Honduras.
  17. Report: Kouadio Kone Has Been Recommended To Chelsea Chelsea have been recommended Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Kouadio Kone. https://www.si.com/soccer/Chelsea/transfer-news/report-kouadio-kone-has-been-recommended-to-Chelsea Chelsea have a goal of signing two midfielders in the coming windows. One of those midfielders will be expected to be a massive investment, like Declan Rice. The other will likely cost a bit less. There are a number of midfielders on the list for Chelsea. Romeo Lavia is a name that keeps popping up with Chelsea certainly interested in his signature. Kouadio Kone is a player that has been recommended to the club in recent weeks. According to Simon Phillips, new technical director of Chelsea Christopher Vivell has been recommended the signing of Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Kouadio Kone. It is not the first time a Premier League club has been linked to Kone. Manchester United had small interest in the midfielder in the summer transfer window, but never made a move. Kone is 21-years old and is also referred to as Manu Kone. He can play central midfield and defensive midfield. The French midfielder signed for Monchengladbach from Toulouse in January 2021 for €9million, and has went from strength to strength for the German side since.
  18. Barcelona tipped to miss out on N’Golo Kante after positive contract talks with Chelsea The midfielder has been linked with a move https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2022/12/30/23531371/barcelona-tipped-to-miss-out-on-ngolo-kante-after-positive-contract-talks-with-Chelsea N’Golo Kante has been linked with Barcelona recently but is now being tipped to sign a new contract at Chelsea. The Frenchman is out of contract at the end of the season which has prompted speculation he could be on the move. Barca’s financial situation means they are being linked with a host of free agents, including Kante, but it seems now that the midfielder could continue at Stamford Bridge after all. David Ornstein at The Athletic is reporting that Chelsea have made “positive progress” on talks over a new deal for Kante and there is “increasing confidence” he will stay. The deal is not quite done yet with an agreement over the length of Kante’s new contract still yet to be reached. Chelsea have suggested two years but Kante wants a longer deal. Barcelona signed Andreas Christensen and Marcos Alonso on free transfers from Chelsea last summer and had been tipped to return to west London in 2023 for Kante.
  19. It is high time to put Marca in the 100% BULLSHIT source category I called bullshit then (their claim Enzo's release clause was €90m), and have been 100% proven correct
