Osimhen is playing to a level where the poison dwarf will demand 130 to 150 million euros is all way downhill after him with the next best (and I still rate him him) Vlahovic as an option then a big pile of near or sorta near the samers potentially and youth (the key is to picking the right one) Jonathan David Ivan Toney Amine Gouiri Randal Kolo Muani Marcus Thuram Gonçalo Ramos Dominic Calvert-Lewin Aleksandar Mitrović Hugo Ekitiké (probably not available, he is now starting to score for PSG, we really missed the boat on him, ffs) Noah Okafor Evanilson Benjamin Sesko (another one we missed the boat on, but he is still at a smaller club) then all youth Elye Wahi Yuri Alberto Nicolas Jackson Momo Cho Rasmus Højlund (watch this 6 foot 3 Danish 19yo lad, he has huge potential and is a physical beast already) Marcos Leonardo Vitor Roque

STAR WHO BRUCE WANTED AT NEWCASTLE IS KILLING A MAJOR EURO LEAGUE RIGHT NOW https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2023/01/29/star-who-bruce-wanted-at-newcastle-is-killing-a-major-euro-league-right-now/ Everyone knows Newcastle United are on the verge of signing Anthony Gordon from Everton. He was spotted at St James’s Park on Saturday after reportedly completing a medical in the North East. At 21, Gordon could be one hell of a winger for Newcastle. But there’s another player who could’ve been a sensational winger for the Magpies, too. Three years ago, Steve Bruce wanted Ademola Lookman at Newcastle and went as far as to confirm his interest in the former Everton attacker [Shields Gazette]. In the end, Bruce failed to get his man, but what a signing that could’ve been based on his current form. Now with Atalanta in Serie A, Lookman is ripping Italian football to shreds this season. According to Transfermarkt, the Londoner has 13 goals and four assists across 19 games in all competitions this season. In fact, the only player with more goals than him in Italian football this season is Victor Osimhen of Napoli. It has taken a while for Lookman to fulfill his potential, but boy is the 25-year-old doing just that now. Who knows if things would’ve been the same had he joined Newcastle, but at least we know Bruce was on the right track in wanting him on Tyneside.

the players they have I rate (and some are ageing) they are completely front loaded, with poor overall CB's and a very average MF, and TAA is horrid on defence Alisson (is becoming more error-prone) Virgil van Dijk (32yo this coming summer and he is not an ageless wonder like Thiago) Andrew Robertson (turns 30yo next winter) by far their best DB/MF along with an in decline VVD Trent Alexander-Arnold (great offensively, utter shit defensively) Fabinho (has been poor this year, a real issue) Thiago (soon 32yo and is suffering from lack of support) Fábio Carvalho (lots of potential, lets see if he lives up to it) Luis Díaz (injured a lot, he is very frail, but a huge talent) Cody Gakpo (still undecided on him) Diogo Jota (when healthy he is a real weapon) Mohamed Salah (soon 31) Darwin Núñez (very erratic)

roflmaooooooooooooo and remember Kane's (who is 30yo this summer) contract expires the exact same date as Mount's this is why English footballer valuations are delusional and the press are idiots and trolls £300m Harry Kane transfer cost https://www.football.london/tottenham-hotspur-fc/transfer-news/tottenham-transfer-news-porro-kane-26100735 A move for Tottenham striker Harry Kane could cost Manchester United up to £300million in the summer transfer window, reports the Daily Star. The England captain is nearing the end of his contract with the Lilywhites, with uncertainty as to where his future may lie in the seasons ahead. United are said to be one side interested and in need of a striker, but a transfer cost of £300million for the overall transfer package could change things.

I think he would choose Citeh IF he doesn't want to go to Spain I am not sold on Pool, and have said so when they were flying high still I looked out a season then 2 or 3 and saw big trouble (ageing out, etc) now, them being sold may change that, if they get a big cash infusion from new ownership

Chelsea sign right-back Malo Gusto from Lyon https://theathletic.com/4134794/2023/01/29/Chelsea-transfer-malo-gusto/ By The Athletic Staff 50 minutes ago Chelsea have completed the signing of right-back Malo Gusto from Lyon. The France under-21 international will remain at Lyon on loan for the remainder of the season. The west London side have agreed to pay €30million (£26.3m) plus add-ons for the services of the 19-year-old. Gusto broke into Lyon’s first team last season, making 30 Ligue 1 appearances and helping his side to reach the last eight of the Champions League. Chelsea identified Gusto as someone who can provide back-up to first-choice right-back/right wing-back Reece James, who has suffered two knee injuries this season. Gusto is the seventh signing of a busy January window for Chelsea. The Premier League have already brought in Mykhaylo Mudryk, David Datro Fofana, Benoit Badiashile, Noni Madueke and Andrey Santos on permanent deals and signed Joao Felix on loan from Atletico Madrid.

Bellingham would be a fool to choose Pool over Real. Pool likely will have no CL, have an ageing team, and a Klopp in a bit of funk, plus, imagine living around several million scousers in that rathole dingy dreary city, versus one of the great European capitals and the best football-only stadium on the planet, and, at the end of the day, the best club in football history, by far the biggest club of any sport, in the world plus slots opening up in MF for Jude at Real hello Madrid for me

Brighton tell Moises Caicedo to stay away from training amid Arsenal interest https://theathletic.com/4133276/2023/01/28/arsenal-transfer-news-caicedo-brighton/ Brighton & Hove Albion have told Moises Caicedo to stay away from training until after the January transfer window amid speculation over his future. Brighton rejected a £60million offer from Arsenal on Friday. Caicedo responded to this by publishing a statement on social media in which he said he wanted to leave the club. As a result, Caicedo will not be present at training on Saturday — which takes place at 11am — and is expected to play no part in the club’s FA Cup fourth round tie against Liverpool on Sunday. Brighton’s position is that Caicedo is not for sale in the January transfer window — and that this will not change, despite continued interest from Arsenal. The club expects him to stay at the club for the second half of the season. GO DEEPER Caicedo's potential move to Arsenal: Why Arteta wants Brighton’s highly-rated midfielder The 21-year-old said on Instagram on Friday evening: “I am grateful to Mr. Bloom and Brighton for giving me the chance to come to the Premier League and I feel I have always done my best for them. I always play football with a smile and with heart. “I am the youngest of 10 siblings from a poor upbringing in Santa Domingo in Ecuador. My dream has always to be the most decorated player in the history of Ecuador. “I am proud to be able to bring in a record transfer fee for Brighton which would allow them to reinvest it and help the club continue to be successful. “The fans have taken me into their hearts and they will always be in my heart so I hope they can understand why I want to take up this magnificent opportunity.” Arsenal are keen on Caicedo as they are looking to sign a central midfielder. They have been exploring a deal for him in recent days and have now made a firm move for him towards the latter stages of the January transfer window. The north London club do have considerable funds to strengthen the squad in this window, as shown by their failed pursuit of Mykhailo Mudryk. Chelsea have also shown an interest in Caicedo and had an offer worth £55million rejected earlier this month. The Ecuador international joined Brighton from Independiente del Valle in February 2021 and is under contract on the south coach until 2025. He has made 25 appearances for Brighton since his move. GO DEEPER Arsenal are out the FA Cup but buoyed by Trossard, Martinelli and going toe to toe with City

PSG https://caughtoffside.substack.com/i/99556745/psg Milan Skriniar has already signed as Paris Saint-Germain player — it’s 100% done for June 2023 on a free transfer, here we go. Paris Saint-Germain have submitted an opening bid to anticipate Skriniar deal in January but Inter want €20m fee. Talks will continue soon, let’s see if they can reach an agreement to sign him earlier. Manchester United and Tottenham were never close to signing Skriniar.

go watch Totti at 38yo boss the field for Roma on 2014/15 same for Paolo Maldini at 38/39 winning the CL and FWCC in 2006 to late 2007 (he really should have not turned down his Italy place at the 2006 WC, that cost him the only trophy (and the biggest) he lacks)
