  9. Graham Potter could stop Chelsea nightmare by taking unpopular coach from Blues to West Ham https://Chelsea.news/2025/05/graham-potter-could-stop-Chelsea-nightmare-by-taking-unpopular-coach-from-blues-to-west-ham/ Former Chelsea manager Graham Potter could save The Blues by bringing in one of their unpopular coaches with him to West Ham. This news comes after Chelsea got a vital three points on Friday night against Manchester United in what was a crucial win for the race for Champions League football next season. One Chelsea legend Gary Cahill was at the match and he has hailed one key player in the game as being one of the best in Europe after his influence on the match. Cahill wasn’t the only one praising this player as well, with team mate Pedro Neto joining in and picking up on the character of the Chelsea hero from Friday night. Chelsea will now move on to their final league game of the season next weekend away at Nottingham Forest, and it’s another game they have to win the secure Champions League qualification. Chelsea fans do not like Ben Roberts Chelsea goalkeeper coach Ben Roberts is not well-liked by any Chelsea fan I have spoken to, and I speak to many on a daily basis. This is because Roberts is a good pal of Robert Sanchez and the one who bought him into Chelsea and the one who continues to back him. And Chelsea fans do not rate Sanchez at all.
  10. this is madness if true absolute madness diabolical cunts
  11. he was shit on loan looks a bust
  12. because they are SHIT no way to spin it otherwise ALL (except perhaps Penders) are marginal at best adjusted for inflation (counting Kepa) we have spent 252m euros on keepers counting Kepa onward and have fuckall to show for it (other than 1 year wonder Mendy)
  13. WOW, they’ve genuinely backed out. Absolute fools. No defending this BREAKING: Mike Maignan to #Chelsea is OFF. Chelsea are not willing to meet AC Milan's price for Mike Maignan and will not pay a 'Club World Cup tax'. Club maintain full trust in their current goalkeepers. - @FabrizioRomano
  14. Manchester City interested in signing Chelsea goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6413340/2025/06/09/manchester-city-transfers-Chelsea-bettinelli/ Manchester City are interested in signing goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli from Chelsea. Pep Guardiola’s side are in the market for a new third-choice goalkeeper following the departure of Scott Carson, who spent six seasons at the Etihad. Bettinelli’s only appearance across four seasons at Chelsea was the 5–1 FA Cup third round victory over National League side Chesterfield in January 2022. The 33-year-old former Fulham goalkeeper, who has a year remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge, is now on the radar of City, where he is expected to be behind Ederson and Stefan Ortega in the pecking order. With the clubs on good terms and with Chelsea appreciative of Bettinelli’s service over his four years at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea expect to finalise talks soon and agree for the Englishman to join City in time for the upcoming Club World Cup. Both Chelsea and City are competing at the tournament and get their campaigns underway against LAFC and Wydad AC respectively. There is the possibility that Ederson, their first-choice goalkeeper of the past eight years, could depart City this summer which would prompt them to go into the market for a first-choice goalkeeper. However, Guardiola appeared to confirm that Ederson and Ortega would stay at City beyond this season, when speaking in Girona last week at the Camiral PGA Catalunya. “I think the two goalkeepers we have, Ederson and Stefan, will be staying,” Guardiola said. “So, we are happy with what we have.” Chelsea currently have Robert Sanchez, Filip Jorgensen and Djordje Petrovic — who spent last season on loan at Strasbourg — on their books, while Mike Penders has joined from Genk.
