No Martial at all as far as I can tell, AND Real is now trying to gazump us on Rugani
-
Tanguy Ndombélé would be SO much better for this role! Or Roberto Gagliardini, also from Inter (and they are now overloaded in CMF, and need a straight up DMF, so Bakayoko can go there

Uruguayan Drinkwater

His last year (and a half maybe) here was horrid. He cost us at least 5,6 games, He got beat like a rented mule at least 3, 4 times a game. Mourinho just kept trotting him out like he was the only RB on the surface of the earth. It was worst defence of a title in the Premier League history, and he played a big role in that. I am sure you will find comments FAR worse than mine littered all over this board during that time.

you forgot Cahill!! He STILL thinks he is an everyday starter, LOLOLOL Branislav Ivanovic 2.0 (fuck Mo for playing that donkey every fucking game)

Inter certainly need a DMF, they have NONE on their roster unless you count Vecino and Marcelo Brozovic playing out of position as DMF's the same as as having DMF's Its their only weakness, they are loaded at every other position (well GK is not the absolute top rank, but still oki) The ONLY pause I have on saying HELL NO to Vecino (he played for shit in the WC as well) is that Sarri is positively obsessed with getting him. Same for Rugani (although I am a far bigger fan of Rugani than most on here). Same for Higuain (I am NOT in favour of signing him at all unless it is for around £35m, £40m MAX. Having a no raid agreement on Napoli squad SUCKS. We cannot make attempts on multiple players who would be big upgrades. NO TRYING ON Kalidou Koulibaly 2nd best CB in world, after Verane Faouzi Ghoulam (he would be perfect LB for us if Emerson ends up a bust (Alonso is not up to a back 4 I fear) Elseid Hysaj (I rate him 6th or 7th RB in the world) Amadou Diawara great young DMF Allan box to box strong MF, superb player, so underrated Piotr Zielinski poor mans Milinkovic Savic José Callejón even though 31, he is still a great RW in Sarriball Dries Mertens I dont see a place here for him, others love him

Inter Milan push Chelsea to bid for Matias Vecino http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/inter-milan-push-chelsea-to-bid-for-matias-vecino-4241639 Chelsea are being encouraged to bid for Inter Milan midfielder Matias Vecino. Corriere dello Sport says Inter coach Luciano Spalletti has approved the sale of the Uruguay international. Spalletti wants Vecino sold and replaced by wantaway Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal. This is good news for Chelsea, where manager Maurizio Sarri is a fan of the Nerazzurri midfielder and would like to bring him to London in the next fortnight. Indeed, it's suggested Inter will engage Chelsea in negotiations over Vecino this weekend.

This is my first ever doom lineup post we actually are staring down the barrel of this this is if all but the Vecino buy falls through, and Willian is sold to the Mancs and all the deadwood stays GK Reina Caballero Green CB Rudiger, Christensen, Cahill, Luiz (Ampadu is loaned out) RB Azpi, Zappacosta LB , Emerson, Alonso (I am convinced Alonso is not capable of LB in aback 4) DMF Kante Bakayoko CMF, deep holding playmaker Jorginho CMF backups Fabregas, Vecino Moses Drinkwater AMF Barkley RLC LW Hazard, CHO RW , Pedro Musonda Striker Morata Giroud, Bats (maybe loan out Bats and use Abraham as 3rd) or Morata is sold and then we flip a coin between Giroud and Bats who will start bonus panic buy at striker on last day if Morata is gone and no replacement: André Silva , the Milan flop Hazard and Kante will want to shoot themselves, and I would wager they BOTH demand a January transfer that lineup will get Sarri sacked by April 2019

Willian plus £10m, hell 20 if need be, and get MARTIAL and screw Higuain!!! Higs wants to stay in Italy anyway, and Milan wants him bad, then we sell Juve Morata and buy LEON BAILEY Finish off (this is NOT my blockbuster mega swaps deal with Juve taking Kante lineup, this is reality) with Miralem Pjanic, Daniele Rugani, Matias Vecino (Sarri is OBSESSED with him so I will trust Sarri) and Strakosha for GK. (I think Pepe Reina is going to be our number one, grrrrrr) Sell the deadwood QUICKLY to fund, I have laid this all out (and who wants who) multiple times leaves us with GK Strakosha (maybe Reina if shit goes all wonky donkey) CB Rudiger, Christensen, Rugani, Ampadu RB Azpi, Zappacosta LB , Emerson, Alonso DMF Kante Bakayoko CMF, deep holding playmaker Jorginho CMF backups Fabregas, RLC, Vecino (Vecino can play DMF and AMF too, he does seem very versatile, but this buy makes no sense to me when we have desperate needs elsewhere) Drinkwater AMF Pjanic , Barkley LW Hazard, CHO RW , Bailey, Pedro Striker Martial, Giroud, Bats (maybe loan out Bats and use Abraham as 3rd) Martial can also play LW I can totally live with that lineup would be over the moon considering we are leaving it late yet again that said, Willian out and no Martial and no Bailey would be a fucking disaster, would REALLY have to get Bernardeschi or Suso for RW (they both can also play LW, just like Bailey) then and no clue on striker, probably stuck with Morata If we ALSO cannot pull off Pjanic either (and get no AMF instead of him), we are looking at no Europe next year

Milan, two names for midfield: RB Salzburg's Samassékou and Chelsea's Bakayoko https://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/milan-two-names-for-midfield-rb-salzburgs-samassekou-and-chelseas-bakayoko Milan wants to build a more competitive squad this season and they are trying to make moves in section. Regarding the midfield, the rossoneri have singled out two names. The first one is Diadie Samassékou, who a 22 year old Mailan midfielder and he is similar to Kessié. He may be able to move at a cheaper price because his contract expires in 2019. The second one is Tiemoue Bakayoko, who hasn't received much space at Chelsea and he could be the right profile for Milan. LOL, the Milanese punters are NOT happy campers about Bakayoko being linked Diadie Samassékou is one of my best 5 available DMF's to replace Kante is he were to go to PSG or Juve DMF (I already have 5 to choose from NONE will be more than £50m) Thomas Partey Atletico Madrid (hell yes and they already bought a replacement, Rodri, the new Busquets) Danilo Pereira Porto (Best DMF in Portuguese Liga NOS BY FAR) Denis Zakaria Borussia Mönchengladbach (big, fast as hell, only 21, had a great WC) Diadie Samassékou Red Bull Salzburg, young sorta kante clone, was MASSIVE in Eurpo league run they had, not only best DMF in Austria, but BEST PLAYER) Wilfred Ndidi Leicester City only 21 still, poor mans Kante, we could do far worse snip GK Strakosha CB Rudiger, Christensen, Rugani, Ampadu RB Azpi, Zappacosta LB Alex Sandro, Emerson DMF one of the 5 above, lets say Thomas from AM (BEAST) or Danilo Pereira from Porto CMF, deep holding playmaker Jorginho CMF backups Fabregas, RLC AMF Pjanic , Barkley LW Hazard, Bailey CHO RW , Bernardeshi, Pedro (Bailey can play here too) I would maybe even sell Pedro and take money plus whatever is left from the 160m and buy another DMF off that list, say Diadie Samassékou Striker Martial, Giroud, Bats

I couldn't find a thread on here for Strakosha, who IMHO is the best GK option for us out there ATM (and only £30-35m too), so here is one. Date of Birth (Age): Mar 19, 1995 (23) Place of Birth: Athens Greece Nationality: Albanian Height: 1,93 m Position: Goalkeeper Agent: Football Capital Current international: AlbaniaAlbania Caps/Goals: 5/0 2017-18 Performance Rankings: Top 5 Young Keepers – Edition 1 http://outsideoftheboot.com/2017/09/21/talent-radar-rankings-top-5-young-keepers-thomas-strakosha/ The first edition of this season’s Talent Radar Performance Rankings kicks off with the young keepers. Last season, the rankings were dominated by Gianluigi Donnarumma and Yoan Cardinale. With the latter now ineligible for this feature, Donnarumma could potentially become the first player to retain his top spot across all four position categories. But the rankings start off with Bruno Varela, who has an important season at Benfica, having to replace Ederson who impressed last season, earning his move to Manchester City. The Portuguese side have had a slightly inconsistent start both domestically and in Europe, much like Varela. The 22-year-old kept two cleansheets in August, but has had some poor showings – most notably against Rio Ave as he mis-controlled a tame cross onto his own defender for an own goal. Defending champion Gianluigi Donnarumma, after a turbulent summer in terms of transfer rumours, is in fourth place. He started the season with a clean sheet against Crotone but has failed to keep another since. While he continues to impress with his dominance in the box, more consistently solid performances (and less of the kind we saw against Lazio) will propel him towards the top of these rankings. Cameroonian Andre Onana finished in the top five of these rankings last season and he started this campaign as Ajax’s number one once again despite their summer managerial change. Much like his side, Onana has had a sub-par start to the season mixed with some fabulous performances – for instance he made six important saves on opening day against Heracles but the side ended up on the wrong side of a 2-1 loss. Losing to Rosenborg in the Europa League qualifiers didn’t help either. Kepa Arrizabalaga is in second spot after some impressive showings in goal for Athletic Bilbao, specifically in the 1-0 win over Eibar. The 22-year-old Spaniard has patiently waited for a regular run of games in the first team and seems to have been rewarded for his perseverance. More to come this season from him for sure! And the leader of the first edition this season is 22-year-old Thomas Strakosha who becomes the first Albanian to feature in our Talent Radar Performance Rankings across all positional categories. While he did manage a cleansheet in Lazio’s frustrating stalemate with SPAL, his most impressive performance came in the memorable 4-1 win over AC Milan. Despite conceding late on to Riccardo Montolivo, the young keeper will certainly be proud of his showing that evening. STRAK ATTACK Who is Thomas Strakosha? Taking a closer look at the Lazio star tipped to be the new Liverpool goalkeeper The 23-year-old is expected to arrive at Anfield in a £30 million deal https://talksport.com/football/388800/who-is-thomas-strakosha-taking-a-closer-look-at-the-lazio-star-tipped-to-be-the-new-liverpool-goalkeeper/ BACKGROUND Born in Athens in March 1995, Strakosha grew up idolising his father, Foto, who was playing for Olympiakos at the time. Like his father, the 23-year-old has opted to represent Albania at international level – he has been part of the set-up since the Under-17s and has five senior caps to his name. He made his debut in August 2016 against Italy in a World Cup qualifier which was almost called off. Albanian fans bombarded the pitch in Palermo with flares and smoke bombs – meaning the players had to seek refuge in the tunnel. He cites Gianluigi Buffon and Manuel Neuer as his goalkeeping heroes, openly admitting to try and model his game on the latter. CLUB HISTORY After being scouted by Lazio as a youngster, Strakosha joined the Serie A side in 2012, helping the primavera (youth team) win their respective league. In the 2012-13 season, he made the step-up to the senior squad and was named as third choice behind Federico Marchetti and Albano Bizzarri – helping the Romans win the Coppa Italia. After extending his contract in 2014, he was sent on loan the following year to Salernitana. After impressing with the Serie B side and subsequent injuries to their first-choice options, the Albanian was promoted to the Lazio No.1 spot in 2016 and has not looked back since. PLAYING STYLE Last season, the goalkeeper had a pass success rate of 71.6% and it is obvious to see where Neuer’s influence has had an effect. He has the ability to play the ball long and set up attacks for his side. He kept 17 clean sheets in 53 appearances in all competitions last season and is a great shot-stopper because of his large frame. http://www.soccerbase.com/players/player.sd?player_id=68012&season_id=150 I think he would be great for us!!

The frantic late-night on Monday with FC Barcelona holding back Malcom's signing for Roma and his trip from Bordeaux also had an impact on Chelsea. From Stamford Bridge, where they had conversations with Barça with the name of Willian on the table assessing the Brazilian in 70 million euros, came an unexpected call to an executive azulgrana. As MD has learned, seeing that Barca changed the focus to direct it towards Malcom , the London club gave way for the first time in its highest claims and lowered the price of Willian hoping that from Barcelona they were willing to negotiate on a figure lower than the 70 'kilos' output. However, Barça was clear and did not leave in the lurch to Malcom when he had already communicated his firm intention to sign him. Barca was interested in Willian but not for a millionaire and hence came to raise the possibility of Chelsea to include in the operation André Gomes to cheapen it, as reported yesterday by this newspaper. There were 'blues' who did not accept Portuguese in addition to an amount close to 50 million. The move of Chelsea with Willian lowering the price quickly and running confirms Barca's presumption that he will end up leaving London surely heading to Manchester United of José Mourinho for more than 50 'kilos', the top that marked the azulgrana.

Look at almsot all my final end game line-ups other than the ones with icardi, all my players in are wayyyy below the £100m mark. look at the Juve blockbuster ends up with GK Strakosha CB Rudiger, Christensen, Rugani, Ampadu RB Azpi, Zappacosta LB Alex Sandro, Emerson DMF one of the 5 above, lets say Thomas from AM (BEAST) or Danilo Pereira from Porto CMF, deep holding playmaker Jorginho CMF backups Fabregas, RLC AMF Pjanic , Barkley LW Hazard, Bailey CHO RW , Bernardeshi, Pedro (Bailey can play here too) I would maybe even sell Pedro and take money plus whatever is left from the 160m and but another DMF off that list, say Diadie Samassékou Striker Martial, Giroud, Bats zero are crazy high there, and a lot were straight swaps I have never been one of those 'OMG we need S-M-Sand/or Dembele!' people we could have even had bloody icardi for less than £100m (98m, but STILL) from July 1 to July 15, 2018 (there was a 2 week window where his release clause for that kicked in, now it is gone like the wind (gone like the Costa!) I am also strange. I DO NOT want buy insanely high end (as in CR7, Messi, Neymar etc) players. I do not want a Galacticos team, I want a carefully, intelligently crafted team that works like a finely tuned 1965 Ferrari 250 LM engine (The last Ferrari to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans) 3.3-litre 320 hp, top speed 300 kilometres per hour

BTW, I couldn't make a mass trade Kante thing with PSG work. The have far too many players who we need from them who flat out refuse to come play in England. I would take £80m plus Julian Draxler. Thats about £125m, which is what I rate Kante at, and it solves our AMF and LW (backup there, and keep CHO first team) issues. NOW, you wanna talk crazy, I would give then Kante plus £100m for Kylian Mbappe!!! PSG will never sell him for less than £300m though, 20 million Parisians would riot even then. Juve blockbuster deal was a perfect storm of both clubs needs.

Ox is out for the year with that bad injury. A shame, he was really playing well. Maybe Gomez will finally get regular time at CB. I deffo think they might still try for Fekir (such a weird story).

La Digue, Seychelles It's our get the hell away from everything place. Parents have a plot of vacant land since the late 1970's near Anse Source d'Argent, on the southwest corner of the island. Someday want to build a house there
