Yes, we tried for 3 straight windows to sign Koulibaly. We also tried numerous other Serie A players across multiple windows, like Nainggolan, Nikola Maksimovic and Belotti from Torino, Bonucci, Brozovic, Romagnoli, Bernardeschi, Alex Sandro, etc etc. Nightmares all. The only reason Rudiger went through was Manolas bailed on a Russian league transfer and Roma had to sell Rudiger to comply with FFP. Swedish is nothing like that, other than a wee bit up and down in tonal accent patterns, with the acute tone accent ( singular syllabic emphasis) and the grave tone (dual syllabic emphasis) accent patterns forming that auditory perception. Göteborgska (Gothenburg Swedish) is the most sing songy and lyrical and skånska (Skåne aka southern Swedish being the most flat (and sharing a lot with Danish).
