  1. One of the first times in ages I can say he looks tired.
  2. Great summary. Fully agree. Lack of rotation appears to be catching up fatigue wise. Scouser cunts dead ahead on shit rest. Eeeeeek!
  3. Drinkwater is perfect Noble upgrade for the pikey twats.
  4. Whole squad looks tired. We dodged a bullet with no Arnautovic.
  5. HD streams http://ripple.is/football/3299-west-ham-united-vs-chelsea https://www.vipleague.bz/west-ham-united-fc-vs-chelsea-fc-streaming-link-1 https://premierleague-lives.com/live/chelsea-live-stream-6/channel-1/ my normal one is acting weird https://www.easysport.tv/games/west-ham-vs-chelsea/ same here (down) http://streamspn.com/tv/nbcsn
  6. You forgot my post. Telles and Gaya are more than likely off the table. Telles is only 25, so not too old yet, even I am not that harsh (plus vanity, as I am 26 so not doing to call a 25 yo too old!! LOLOL) Bad news now. I just was digging around and José Gayà's new release clause was raised to 100m euro when he signed a new 5 year contract. So there is a huge previous option now we have to take off the table for LB's. Also, get ready to pull the other best actually available option. Alex Telles. He is on verge of signing new 5 year deal with a reported 75m euro release clause. Porto turned down 40m euro from Bayern (they already have Alaba at LB FFS!!! Greedy cunts!) at the end of the window 3 weeks ago. Those were by far my 2 best options (along with the probably too expensive Sessegnon), as even IF Juve finally did agree to sell us Alex Sandro in the summer, he is probably too old now. I don't think we should pay £70m or so for a LB that we on get a season and a half out of before he turns 30. Remember there are only TWO superb LB's on planet over 28. Marcelo who turns 31 in May and is slowing down to point RM want Alonso for replacement, and Jordi Alba, who turns 30 in March. With Gaya and (grrrr) Telles off the table, it's down to a pretty small number of acceptable level replacements. Manure is not going to sell Shaw. TBH, I would take a healthy, pre-injury level Emerson over any of these except Sessegnon. But, is THAT Emerson ever going to emerge again? I am really getting worried. Also we need to try out Baba one final time. In order (and none of these are easy pulls, all factors taken in, Firpo is probably best shot, as the first 3 will be so hard): 1. Ryan Sessegnon (IF we would use him as a left back, he is by far the best option, albeit will be crazy expensive) 2. Alejandro Grimaldo - Benfica (so many big clubs want him, our odds are poor) 3. Wendell - Bayer Leverkusen (was a beast last night in the EL) BTW, it fucking sucks that Bayer has SO many players I drool over! Bailey, Havertz, Henrichs (gone now), Wendell, Tah, Retsos, 18yo Paulinho, (a probable superstar LW), Lucas Alario (striker option not discussed a lot), and Brandt. 4. Júnior Firpo - Real Betis (new addition, been watching him for 2 years, he is ready to play EPL ball, Shitty want him badly) 5. Layvin Kurzawa - PSG 6. Raphaël Guerreiro - Borussia Dortmund 7. Dalbert - Inter Milan 8. Theo Hernández - Real Madrid 9. Ferland Mendy - Lyon 10. Kieran Tierney - Celtic 11. Marcelo Saracchi - RB Leipzig 12. Aarón Martín - Mainz 13. Borna Sosa - Stuttgart 14. Hamza Mendyl - Schalke 15. Jorge - Porto 16. Toni Lato - Valencia
  7. Oh, I can see Ampadu becoming better than AC. No issues there. I have never seen a 16/17 yo with his level of defensive play. Both he and AC can also play at MF as well. I just want Luiz out. If he is sold (Cahill is also gone for sure) we still absolutely need to buy 2 other CBs. We cant roll thru 55 games with only 3. That's suicidal, lol. Well, Azpi can play CB, so technically 4. But that means its all or nothing with Zappacosta at RB. That is why I am am so fixated on Pavard. 2 birds, one stone.
  8. Try to buy any of the 6 or 7 above him for less than £100m. It isnt going to happen. We had £92m turned down by AM for Oblak. Real offered same as what we paid (his release clause price) for Kepa and he turned them down. If Courtois had 3 or 4 years left on his contract and we still agreed to sell him, we would have gotten £100m from Real if they didn't have Navas. The board fucked it all up, but paying only £4.5m more at the window death than the scouser twats paid mid-window for Alisson is not anything I worry about. Everton was talking about £80m FOR PICKFORD. PFFFFT. We probably could have bought Strakosha for £50m from Lazio, but the board didnt even enquire. 21yo Alex Meret would have cost us around £30m (with the non Serie A pricing.) But he is far from Kepa in terms of game time. PSG was talking £50m for Areola. Kepa is better than Areola, atm far better than Meret and Meret is going already REALLY good. Real wanted Kepa for years, more than De Gea or Courtois. That should tell you something right there. Shitty spent, with add-ons and fees over £150m on 3 FULLBACKS, one of whom barely plays, the other was badly injured, and the 3rd will be 30yo before next season ends. We offered roughly £120m for SMS to Lazio and they laughed in our face. Welcome (2 years early) to the new 2020's transfer paradigm in terms of vastly increased cost basis. Kepa is going to be a monster someday soon. Top 3 to 5 for sure as several above him will slow down whilst he will be just entering his peak years when that occurs.
  9. A huge piece to the puzzle is Dani Ceballos. If he continues to shoot upwards like he has the last year or so (he is now getting regular callups to the Spanish national team) Real will be far more like to let us buy Kovacic. Dani Ceballos to break through for Real Madrid https://therealchamps.com/2018/09/20/the-reckoning-of-ceballos/ How Real Madrid's 'forgotten man' Ceballos became the Bernabeu's new star http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/how-real-madrids-forgotten-man-ceballos-became-the-bernabeus-new-/iwwrrohg5p9t1n245z9ytysxb Dani Ceballos’ form adds to Julen Lopetegui’s enviable midfield headache at Real Madrid Read more at: https://inews.co.uk/sport/football/dani-ceballos-form-julen-lopetegui-midfield-real-madrid-modric-casemiro-kroos-isco-post-zidane/ I also think they sell Modric and make a real run at one or two of the following in no order, and these are different types of players, I cannot read Julen Lopetegui's mind to that level red means most likely this is also a great list of pretty much every remotely available MF (some are super tough pulls) out there atm who could, now, play at a top 8 to top 10 club Christian Eriksen (he is the closest to a direct replacement for Modric, along with): Miralem Pjanic (zero chance they can get another one, and my 2nd best CMF rate in the world, after Kroos, Saúl Ñíguez) also Dele Alli Sergej Milinkovic-Savic Paul Pogba N'Golo Kanté (eeeek!) Marco Verratti Thiago Adrien Rabiot (I think he goes to Shitty in January though, or in the summer on a free) Donny van de Beek superb young Ajax 21yo CMF Frenkie de Jong even better 21yo Ajax midfielder, massive bidding war soon, I would love to get him if we lose Kovacic Rúben Neves (another Shitty target, probably Peps number one MF want, he is fucking special, IF we lose Kova, i would LOVE to see us scupper City yet again) Corentin Tolisso Bryan Cristante superb young Italian 23yo CMF, only Verratti is a better Italian CMF, and I can see Cristante maybe passing him, he is much much taller as well, and has a way better temper and judgement (Verratti is cray cray at times) Nabil Fekir Leon Goretzka (almost impossible to prise away from Bayern) Kai Havertz (noooo! I so want him on Chelsea, he is amazing and only 19) Piotr Zielinski Carlos Soler Julian Weigl (another Shitty target) Lorenzo Pellegrini Santiago Ascacíbar (21yo Argentine, exploding in the Bundesliga as deep holding DMF type) Pablo Fornals Nicolò Barella Jean-Philippe Gbamin (another Shitty target, lol) Denis Zakaria Talisca (stranger things have happened, another (along with Kai Havertz) of my AMF targets after we bungled up Golovin deal (Havertz is going to be far better I think than either) Youri Tielemans Roberto Gagliardini Leandro Paredes (yet another Shitty target, another deep holding playmaker who is off the horizon as he plays in Russia atm for Zenit, (by far the best player in their league) Amadou Diawara Diadie Samassékou Amadou Haidara Andrija Zivkovic Lucas Paquetá (going to fight it out with barca for him I think, 21yo Brasilian AMF, a potential superstar Houssem Aouar Tanguy Ndombélé Amine Harit Rodrigo Bentancur Bruno Fernandes Aleksandr Golovin (in 2 years maybe, if he does great at Monaco) For us, Chelsea my favourites personally are (in order by position plus Kovacic needs to be purchased perm and SMS is a total pipe dream and not included) in bold are overall true favourites AMF Kai Havertz AMF Talisca AMF Aleksandr Golovin (I still rate the fucker, lol, sorry, i really do) CMF/AMF Kovacic CMF/AMF Amadou Haidara CMF/AMF Piotr Zielinski (fucking the poison dwarf will never sell him to us) CMF Frenkie de Jong CMF Bryan Cristante CMF Roberto Gagliardini DH playmaking DMF Rúben Neves DH playmaking DMF Rodri (Busquets in the making, impossible pull atm) DH playmaking DMF Leandro Paredes DMF Diadie Samassékou DMF Denis Zakaria DMF Jean-Philippe Gbamin that would yield us an overall MF (after sales, and bear in mind we have 8 MF's on the books atm) of these 6 : AMF Kai Havertz (Barkley maybe stays, dunno, I DO really like him, but rotating 7 is a bish) CMF/AMF Kovacic CMF Frenkie de Jong (or if not him, Bryan Cristante, IF we lose Kovacic, get them BOTH) Box to Box Hybrid Destroyer/AMF Kante (I have no idea what to call him, Sarri invented a new role never seen, I just call him a fucking BADASS) DH playmaking DMF Jorginho DH playmaking DMF Rúben Neves THE best MF in the world (unless Real add SMS and say Eriksen) and probably still is even then same if Barca added Pogba , BUT Alli and Pogba both, that would push it to them perhaps its all pipe dreams in reality, but surely SOME must be at least attempted to be purchased, lol, PLUS sell all the deadweight!!
  10. Italy has been our graveyard, and its so so so frustrating for me as my 'lose Hazard but still have a CL-winning team is massively made up of Serie A players I have wanted for ages, and no, they are not some 'omg NOW they are so good I have to have them' rot (save for last 2 years with 3 of them) CF Icardi (I have been on him since Sampdoria days) CF backup Edin Dzeko (I wanted him over Giroud, but I do also love Giroud, so not a complete loss) CF backup, developing superstar Pietro Pellegri (wanted BADLY for us to buy him from Genoa, instead Emenalo, now at Monaco, snatched him) RW Bailey (NOT Serie A) RW (would be backup/rotation as Bailey has come to the fore) Bernardeschi (wanted him since since Fiorentina days) LW/Floating Secondary striker/hybrid Dybala (been on him since Palermo days) LW (backup/rotation/tactical option) Chiesa (IF CHO will also not renew) AMF SMS AMF Barkley (NOT Serie A) eventually replace with Kai Havertz , also NOT Serie A CMF Kovacic (even HE has Serie A connection with Inter!) CMF Bryan Cristante (LOVE HIM so much, almost as much as Kovacic, great young Italian CMF, fuck Vecino, we need to buy HIM from Atalanta, ESPECIALLY if we lose (omg, sob) Kovacic) Box to Box MF Kante (NOT Serie A) DMF/Deep Holding Jorginho (before he came and Sarri came switch Nainggolan for Jorginho and move Kante to traditional DMF, Naingollan to AMF, SMS to Box to Box LB Alex Sandro LB backup up Emerson (IF he recovers finally to pre knee tear Roma form), if not sell him and keep Alonso (so all 3 LB are Serie A) RB Azpi (NOT Serie A) RB backup/rotation/eventual Azpi replacement (and PERFECT RB for Sarriball) João Cancelo CB Koulibaly CB Romagnoli CB Rudiger CB AC (NOT Serie A) CB Ampadu (NOT Serie A) GK Thomas Strakosha (as stated multiple times, I pushed for him as I thought, per a wrong old series of reports from Spain, that Kepa had a 150m euro release clause) I am 1000000% THRILLED we got Kepa so a win/win Back up GK Mattia Perin (another one we FUCKED up on, have followed him for years, Juve stole him from Genoa this summer for only £10.8m) sooooo thats 20 players with Serie A backgrounds THAT team also would deffo be top 3 or 4 in world, if not flat out number one, it would smash the current weak-depth Liverpool and give Shitty a hell of a run for EPL title year after year and Juve would have been greatly weakened, so only Shitty, Barca, AM, RM, PSG maybe LPool (once they fix depth) and Bayern would be remotely close, its very young BUT also crazy experienced, and so so so deep It has best pure number nine on planet in Icardi The best secondary striker on planet in Dybala (unless that's what you label Messi positionally, and Messi only has but only so many dominant years left before father time catches even him) 3rd best under 26yo RW in Bailey (fuck Sterling), after Mbappe and Dembele 3rd best under 26yo LW in Chiesa, after Sane and Asensio NUMBER ONE DMF in world (by far) in Kante, Number 2 in world deep holding MF (number one eventually as Busquets will start to age sooner or later) in Jorginho, who is close to 4 years younger top 3 or 4 CMF and soon soon 2nd or 3rd (as my number 2 Kroos hits 30 in mid next season and starts to age) in SMS (after my number 1, Saul Niguez, and then probably (omg am I going to catch hell on this, BUT he has finally matured I really feel, even though I HATE Manure, Pogba, who was MASSIVE in the WC compared to a bläää run by SMS) 3rd best RB in world in Azpi (after Kimmich and Sergi Roberto) 3rd best LB in world in Alex Sandro, after Alaba and now, I think, Lucas Hernández 2nd best CB (after Varane) on planet in KK, great talent and depth and potential/youth in all the other CB's Top 7 or 8 in world (and will rise) GK whether its Kepa or Straskosha 3rd best backup keeper in world, after Cillessen and Navas, and top 20 overall keeper in Perin Its top 3 in almost every position, save keeper and overall wingers (but top 3 in world in both winger positions if you are talking under 26yo) For keeper it has the 7th best or 8th and either is MORE than capable of winning a treble/quadruple given the rest of the team, Hell, even Kasper Schmeichel or Sven Ulreich or Pepe Reina could with THAT club in front of them could LOLOL), and either one will be top 5, maybe even top 2 or 3 some day, probably NONE of those buys were impossible at all, and other than SMS NOW, none would have been insanely expensive IF we had done the deals when I first got on them, which means 2012, 13, 14 in multiple cases The only really newish ones are SMS and Bailey and of course the 17 year old Pellegri (summer of 2017 for them) Also, I did not force-fit Serie A-only players, those are the actual players I have wanted for years so graveyard or not, it's oftimes Serie A where I end up at BONUS in terms of our CF troubles, I am really starting to become convinced (H/T to UJ) that (provided he has a great year, and he's off to a MASSIVE start, 4 games, EIGHT GOALS) we seriously need to start to consider another Genoa striker to replace Morata, Krzysztof Piatek http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/who-is-krzysztof-piatek-the-barcelona-linked-scoring/afi17591a7tr176q1oeusn4t0 http://www.goal.com/en/news/new-lewandowski-piatek-shrugs-off-barcelona-transfer-talk/1zh5sn8eu08f1fbdk853tx5c9
  11. Yes, we tried for 3 straight windows to sign Koulibaly. We also tried numerous other Serie A players across multiple windows, like Nainggolan, Nikola Maksimovic and Belotti from Torino, Bonucci, Brozovic, Romagnoli, Bernardeschi, Alex Sandro, etc etc. Nightmares all. The only reason Rudiger went through was Manolas bailed on a Russian league transfer and Roma had to sell Rudiger to comply with FFP. Alonso was also an FFP-assisted sale with Fiorentina (you know our history there, ie. the Salah bullshit, so you know it was a needed-to-be-done deal by them), and we payed what (at the time) many thought was a crazy price as he had been shit at Bolton (left on a free) and flopped at Sunderland.
  12. Bailey would bring a lot from Jamaica, lolol
  13. OMG I want to CHOKE Anthony Knockaert. so bloody many misses, 2 or 3 pure sitters BHA should be up 3 1
  14. O’boy-kris i landet – då säljs det för tusentals kronor https://www.aftonbladet.se/nyheter/a/bKvKaA/oboy-kris-i-landet--da-saljs-det-for-tusentals-kronor O'boy crisis in the country - some are selling cans for thousands of kronor (12 kronor roughly equals one quid)
  15. More bad memories aka foolish board action CHELSEA HAD SET SIGHTS ON PSG’S PRESNEL KIMPEMBE, BEFORE OPTING TO BUY BACK DAVID LUIZ http://www.thehardtackle.com/news/2016/09/03/chelsea-had-set-sights-on-psgs-presnel-kimpembe-before-opting-to-buy-back-david-luiz/ Chelsea wanted Presnel Kimpembe before opting for David Luiz transfer Read more: https://metro.co.uk/2016/09/02/chelsea-wanted-presnel-kimpembe-before-opting-for-david-luiz-transfer-6106863/?ito=cbshare
  16. Swedish is nothing like that, other than a wee bit up and down in tonal accent patterns, with the acute tone accent ( singular syllabic emphasis) and the grave tone (dual syllabic emphasis) accent patterns forming that auditory perception. Göteborgska (Gothenburg Swedish) is the most sing songy and lyrical and skånska (Skåne aka southern Swedish being the most flat (and sharing a lot with Danish). Stockholm Swedish is considered standard, but there are also many many dialects in the nation as well with some unique tonal idiosyncrasies as well. Same as the UK and most all other ancient and not so ancient nations.
  17. We do too, but you would hate the Swedish commentary
  18. I knew that one was the driving thing. I was bloody pissed too, but I have a lot of patience IF I do not see the same types of errors being made over and over and over (hello! Luiz!, lol) My favourite Luiz pics

  20. I will try, she is not a big comp fangirl, she is a luddite in many aspects (I mean a proper one, from a social anthropological perspective).
  21. I think saying AC 'lost the plot' is an overstatement. He had a few weak moments, but hardly collapsed. All, ALL young CB's (yes even Nesta and Beckenbauer, lol) have some rough early games. its a natural part of the learning curve. Christensen has world class potential and is more than ready to be a main starter for us atm. Same for Ampadu in a year or 2 (although what position for amps is actually up in the air a wee bit, as I think he can someday bee an amazing MF'er too)..
  22. BTW. I have made my mind up after much discussion with my wife. We both now favour Jorginho for captain. New boy or not. Its not uncommon for a noob to be handed the armband. Hell, Marco van Ginkel was named PSV captain as a LOANEE.
  23. 1 1 full time and Traore at the death had a shoot to win it. Pogba, I have to admit was amazing, but Neves was just as good. Neves is like a younger, more offensive Jorginho type, albeit not with the quantum computing football brain Jorginho has. Pep must be going wild he failed to land either one this summer, lolol. Surely Shitty must pull Neves or Julian Weigl or Leandro Paredes next year. I would take Neves over all else out there remotely available at deep holding creative DMF. Wolves have a more than decent shot at qualifying for the EL. They also are great to watch. My best footie mate hates me with a burning passion when I say that, because he is a Baggie, lol. I called him a Brummie Throstle a couple nights back and now he is pouting like a Black Country bish and wont talk to me or my wife. LOLOL
  24. Brilliant last year? Cahill? Lolol I must have tuned into Bizzaro World EPL then. Up is down, down is up. TIM Cahill, at almost 39, has twice the pace. If you had Gary C and Alonso caught on same side in a defensive transition situ, my mum could probably turn the corner on them via an overlap run.
