Werner is one of the 2nd tier of options, I need to see him step up and do it big this year. Huge problem with him is IF he really explodes, Bayern will hop on him. He also will not come cheap, say £70m plus, so a really big money gamble. There are so few GREAT options left for us all of the following have their issues, some have multiple Bats - we could recall him, not sure if it worth the hassle, and Valencia will be PISSED so the real ones................ Paulo Dybala (will cost around £130 to £150m) So much dependson ifhewansttoleave Juveover playing time.I really want him, but our board will never pay his price I fear. Mauro Icardi but we blew it by not hitting his £98m (for first 2 weeks in July 2018 release clause) (it goes up each year, and zero chance Inter sell him in January, probably not in summer 2019 either, plus RM and Barca, etc are sniffing around) Martial another cockup with the failed Willian plus cash swap, might, MIGHT have a shot if Mo is still manager (looking grim for him, ZZ hire and forget Martial, he will renew in a flash), but we all are projecting him as a striker (I think rightly so) but zero signs our board or Sarri see him as a 9 Krzysztof Piatek, has exploded so far, a monster goal machine, Juve now want him, the greedy cunts, we will cost less than all others on here but again, not proven, regardless of massive start and Barca REALLY want him too, I think we would have to guarantee him a starting position, which is NO problem, lolol I am leaning towards him overall, IF we don't try for BY FAR the only two superstars, Dybala and Icardi (which we damn well fucking should do! Fucking board sucks) then Ciro Immobile, who turns 30 in February 2020 (so maybe a long term contract issue), and if Lazio loses SMS next summer, zero chance they also let Ciro go in same window and even less than zero in ´January window, he is their captain, he doesn't want to leave Timo Werner (still not sure if he is the real deal, massively expensive gamble and if Werner shows huge this year, Bayern will grab him) Andrea Belotti (se Werner, and he had a shit year last year) Then some speculative ones Robert Lewandowski way too expensive for his age last window, BUT his contract is up in 2021, so maybe Bayern come down a bit, plus he wants a 5 year deal, so that means we have him until 35yo, arrrf Lautaro Martínez (Inter, and they JUST signed him, even less of chance than Immobile or Icardi IMHO) Patrick Cutrone (again, so not proven, massive gamble and will Milan even remotely want to sell?, no) Giovanni Simeone - Fiorentina looks to be a solid player, but not setting the league on fire, he is a backup type for me, and Fiorentina arecunts to deal with (see Salah nighmare) Maximiliano Gómez - Celta Vigo I have issues with hisoverweightweight body, others think he is great, he is the same for me as Simeone, flip a coin! lolol then there are stopgap measures Anthony Modeste, 30yo, in China cashing in, sign him for 2 years. In 2016-17 he was an absolute BEAST for Köln (who got relegated as soon as he left), 34 goals in 43 games, all comps, ands 25 of those were Bundesliga league goals Edin Dzeko Roma, 33 in March though so at mosat (if a January buy) I would give is until June 2021, his contract is up in June 2020, so we could get him on a free in summer, but that doesn't help us this year Edinson Cavani BY FAR the best of the 30 somethings, I would love to see him here for a year and half or 2 and half whilst we sort it out long term out long term, big issue is PSG will NOT sell him cheaply, even at 32yo (which he turns in February) Bas Dost of Sporting turns 30 in May, scores a shit tonne ( 71 goals in last 2 years, all comps) in Liga NOS, is a giant, 1.96m Finally the truly INSANE play Zlatan Ibrahimovic He can still score like a motherfucker, he is certainly capable of playing with us until at least end of 2021

Yes, that goal is on Kante far more than anyone else.
-
All else aside, IF we don't sell his arse and get a REAL striker, we are fucked in so many crucial moments. No, Giroud is not the answer, that is patently ridiculous, as we do NOT have any real goal scorers other than Hazard and a sometimes-playing Pedro. Alonso cannot carry the scoring load, that is crazy to rely on a left back to pick up slack. Our striker situ is a genuine shitshow.
-
Kante? LOLOL, Who do you think sagged off Sturridge and allowed him all the time in the world for that goal, plus brought little to the offensive end in the 2nd half? I am a chief Luiz basher, and today he played fucking great. I rated Kovacic, then him as 2 best players I hope I can start to forget about Luiz and his issues and just concentrate on other things (Striker and Willian for now, our too biggest weaknesses, IF Luiz plays like today, and if Pedro cant have a go every game)

Jose Mourinho out of ideas, out of excuses and should be out of a job at Manchester United http://www.espn.co.uk/football/club/manchester-united/360/blog/post/3650601/jose-mourinho-out-of-ideas-out-of-excuses-and-should-be-out-of-a-job-at-manchester-united

Its the first thing all the 4 different network commentators we had on said,he was not shut down by Kante, plus it was a wonder-strike due to that time he had to set up None blamed Kepa (rightly so).
-
Bailey is RW, not left, he prefers and usually plays inverted. Wath Bayer Leverkusen games like I do. That's why UJ, myself, and others always bring him up to bin Willian at RW.
-
Gomez and Alexander-Arnold are the real deal. I would kill to have them on Chelsea. Sorry, your wrong on that. Their midfield starters are more than competent enough to win the league if they started every game (which they cant, thus my depth comment) Fabinho MAY come good, who knows, I smell Bakayoko time atm. Alisson not a ball playing keeper? LOLOLOL You must be having a laff

Jorginho can only be man marked IF a team can play loose and not tight with other positions. Let's be brutally honest those positions are (I ignore CB in this,as a CB is not as crucial to relieving pressure off Jorginho as the rest of these positions, and Luiz had a good game and still pressure on Jorginho) AMF Kante ,for all his wondrous attributes, just doesn't offer a true forward leaning threat, and certainly will never be a goal scorer of any renown RB Azpi the same as Kante, although in his RB position his defence can somewhat make up for it, but we need a true 2 way RB LB Alonso, other than his occasional goals, he doesn't offer much else, and is still slow and defensive liability and the two HUGE ones RW (if not Pedro, and Pedro is ageing and injury prone so NOT any everyday player) WILLIAN IS SHIT, Moses is SHIT, we either buy someone like Bailey or we can fuck off, it's not rocket science STRIKER same but even more glaring than RW, its a joke to think we can win atan ultra high level with Giroud.Morata?? He is the worst starter on the team,he is horrifically bad, he actually, somehow, looks words every game Now the cold hard math the right player to fill all 6 positions (counting CB) would be around £400m to £450m we have around £400m of pure dead weight in the team to sell (and NO, this is NOT counting selling ANY of the following (Hazard, Kante, Barkley, Pedro, Luiz, Giroud, Fabregas, RLC (I would loan him) Azi, Emerson, etc This IS selling (and these are completely realistic prices) Marcos Alonso £50m to RM Danny Drinkwater £30m Victor Moses £20m Davide Zappacosta £20m Willian £55m (he needs to fucking GO) Gary Cahill £15m Álvaro Morata £50m (if we are lucky) Baba Rahman £10m Kurt Zouma £25m Tiémoué Bakayoko £35m Kenedy £15m Charly Musonda £10m Michy Batshuayi £40m £25m in loan army bullshit sales TOTAL RAISED £400m even if the 6 replacements cost £500m we SURELY can spend £100m net in a fucking window (and those 6 might not cost £500m, might be far cheaper) AND again THAT IS NOT counting selling Hazard or even Kante, etc NONE of those I listed are even remotely important in 2 years (and almost all NOW) to the team , especially if they are UPGRADED and I dont sell LUIZ, HAZARD, KANTE, CESC, AZPI, RLC, EMERSON, GIROUD, OR BARKLEY and still get to 400 million quid!! here is the 6 I would buy (and I price them HIGH) CB Matthijs de Ligt £85m or Marquinhos £90m RB Pavard (also is, obviously, a centre back) £70m LB Junior Firpo (£55m release clause) AMF Talisca (£35m) or my preferred Kai Havertz (£60M) RW Bailey (£75m) Striker Icardi (£120m) or Dybala (£140m) total £450m (lowest) to £490m MAX so only £50m to £90m net spend we need to GET IT THE FUCK DONE losing all patience with this shit

The hype is easy top understand, they have a crazy good starting team (IF they start Keita over the thug hack Henderson) That starting 11 has zero weaknesses. Literally zero now that Gomez has exploded at CB. But people (casual fans) don't know shit about depth, etc. The big mass media papers and telly shows never cater to truly knowledgeable footie fans like us. They just want to hype up Salah and Rock n Rolla Klopp and those long suffering but adorable (GAG!!) Liverpool VICTIM cunts. I hate that city, hate the people, hate the team, hate the fans, they can all fuck off. They epitomize the English tendency to overrate certain things in our country.
-
I disagree, the defensive flaws and RW are not capable of being fixed by simply adding a striker, even Icardi or Dybala. And plenty of teams have had basically no true weak points in the last 10 years.
-
They have very poor depth (as Fabinho has been a bust) other than Sturridge (who bit us in the arse unfortunately) and Xherdan Shaqiri. They are fucked it van Dijk or Gomez cant play CB, if Alisson cant go at GK,they are in worse shape than even we are Mignolet, loll, what a cunt), same at both fullbacks and in MF (Henderson is SHIT, its laughable for anyone to say otherwise, after him its Fabinho, lol, if Keita starts), they have zero winger backups other than Shaqiri. ZERO chance they can win EPL and CL both, and pretty close to zero they win either. They don't have the depth needed. Shitty does. We should, if we had a fucking competent board.
-
He has potential yes, but I still go for the two I mentioned, but again, yes, Mendy is is good call, I could see him as better than any we have in a year or two.
-
I think Emerson is. Just a matter of whether he'll get a look in Still do not think he is answer, that poacher goal aside, he is a great backup (IF he is totally recovered from that knee injury, which I still have doubts on) Sessegnon or Firpo ftw
-
Complete? LOLOL Not a chance, it is simply the most glaring need

Another board fuckup, no more needs to be said
-
Hazard's was far better, but Sturridge is up for 2nd (so far)
-
I SO want to pip the cunt fuck shit scousers for 2nd, as I do not see us being able to catch Pep and shitty, so I am ALLLL in for Shitty to win v LPool
-
thank you! My feelings exactly sometimes a moment of brilliance just costs you was a magnificent strike by Sturridge, would SO much rather draw like that than a shit mistake
-
Gotta be honest, Alonso should have scored on that open header at the death, but he had a great game overall.
-
Luiz or Kovacic
-
Anyone who says that is a pure cunt
