END. Take Vans Skydiving With the LX Old Skool 136 'Parachute' On-sale: 20 Feb 25 Colorway Parachute https://www.sneakerfreaker.com/releases/end-vans-lx-old-skool-136-parachute-price-buy-release-date/ Iconic So-Cal skating brand Vans are having a ripper start to 2025, with the debut of their reinforced Old Skool 36+ and the premium Old Skool landing scores of 100 each from the judges, aka the Vans community. Now, the flagship model is getting another rework, this time with sneaker boutique END. The duo has used vintage military parachutes as the inspiration for their design, dubbing it the ‘Parachute’ LX Old Skool 136 (disclaimer: these are not suitable to replace a real parachute when jumping out of a plane). Starting with the veteran Old Skool 36 base, END. and Vans have mainly communicated their inspiration via the materials with nylon ripstop uppers giving off parachute vibes. Smooth suede overlays on the Jazz Stripe, heels, eyestays and toes complement the textures, and the iteration is rendered in white and cream for a uniformed and clean look. Lastly, the foxing has been raised higher onto the upper and around the top of the toe for compact aesthetics. Co-branding features on the insole and heel pull and the pairs come in a specially designed box that serves as a collector’s item. The END. x Vans LX Old Skool 136 ‘Parachute’ raffle is open right now for entries and closes on February 20, so get in quick if you want to cop a pair. For more on the Vans Old Skool, head here to read up about how it evolved from a Southern Californian skate staple to a global symbol of creative revolt.

ALL THE COREs - PART 2 https://www.overkillshop.com/blogs/news/all-the-cores-part-2 Here is our Part 2 of All The Cores! In the world of fashion combined with social media, trends are often referred to as CORE. We have summarized the hottest core aesthetics for you and the best thing is, you can store the outfits directly or get inspired. Here you can find Part 1 of All The Cores with: Bloke-, Angel-, Devil-, Vacation- and Love-Core. BLOKECORE Let's move on to a core trend that you've probably all seen before, whether in the city center or on social media. We're talking about Blokecore or Ladcore. “Bloke” or lad is a term for “guy” in English, which is interesting in this respect because Blokecore has been a unisex phenomenon since 2021. Unlike hooligans or casuals, for example, where club affiliation is rather difficult to identify visually, Blokecore puts your favorite football club in the spotlight. In the original sense, a football shirt is combined with normal clothing. However, it should be mentioned at this point that not all fans of Blokecore are automatically football fans, or at least not of the club whose shirt they are wearing. In the very special world of football shirts, there are also extremely special versions, collector's items or vintage pieces inherited from your father. Of course, the names of top-class footballers are also popular on the jerseys - Beckham, Zidane, Ibrahimovic. But not only jerseys are allowed within Blokecore. Sweatshirts, training jackets, or pants from clubs or simply brands without a club symbol are also allowed. Classic sneakers such as the adidas Samba or the City models round off the look perfectly with classic blue jeans. Blokecore will certainly be seen more often this year, as the European Football Championships are taking place. ANGELCORE Angelcore is a contemporary aesthetic inspired by angels. In terms of style, it resembles Rococo, a fashion from the 18th century. The idea is to imitate the supernatural beauty of angels. However, this does not mean that you have to walk through the city with angel wings. Both angelic clothing, such as white or transparent fabrics or golden details, and clothing with angel motifs are used in Angelcore. The fashion trend tends to be more popular with women, but as we all know, anything goes, so we also have outfits for men. In addition to angels, other indispensable motifs for Angelcore are butterflies, garlands, clouds, glitter, wings, and harps. More items from Angelcore can be found here at GATE. DEVILCORE There is no angel without a devil! Devilcore is the counterpart to Angelcore. Devilcore often relies on disturbing images that hint at sinful activities. Satanic motifs, pentagrams, or leviathan crosses are used to match the theme. Devilcore is characterized by a creepy aesthetic and uses motifs such as blood, knives, weapons, fire, or abandoned buildings and the nighttime. The fashion of this aesthetic is based on dark colors, especially black and shades of red. It can be tight and revealing, acid wash is also popular, nets, buckles, lace, and leather are also important components and, of course, creepy accessories. You can find the products for Devilcore ,here at GATE. VACATIONCORE This trend is all about looking like you're a Yank on vacation in Europe, or at least imagining that you are. Of course, this trend also has its origins on social networks. People like to share their experiences online, including those from their vacations. With Vacationcore, however, you don't necessarily have to be on vacation. Roughly summarized, it is primarily about the outfit on a summer vacation. Skimpy tops or bikini tops, combined with linen pants and sandals. Oversized sunglasses, straw hats or silk headscarves, and large beach bags are also important accessories. You can find the products for Vacationcore, here at GATE. LOVECORE With Lovecore, it's Valentine's Day all year round! Love is celebrated here and things are correspondingly romantic. Popular motifs include hearts, boxes of chocolates, love letters, Cupid, angels, and, of course, the colors red and pink. Parallels to manga comics can also be seen in Lovecore. Anime characters who blush or have hearts around them are often used as motifs in lovecore. In general, hearts are one of the most important elements, often in combination with bouquets, cakes with icing, and heart-shaped sweets. Lovecore fashion is a mixture of lingerie, satin dresses, and angel wings, paired with normal clothing.

ALL THE COREs - PART 1 https://www.overkillshop.com/blogs/news/all-cores-are-beautiful-part-1 The world of fashion is constantly changing. Some styles come back at regular intervals and some are short-lived. In recent years, certain trends have also been referred to as CORE. Because it's easy to lose track in this fast-moving fashion landscape, we have compiled the most important aesthetic trends for you. Here you can find out more about the background and, best of all, you can buy the looks directly or at least get inspired by them. Let's go. NORMCORE It all started in 2013 when the term “core” first appeared in connection with a fashion trend. Normcore is a unisex style characterized by inconspicuous, average clothing. The term combines the words “normal” and “hardcore”, so it is primarily about not standing out. Normcore didn't want to try hard to be cool, it was cool to be normal. Sounds kind of crazy, as everyone tries to express themselves with their outfits. Normcore, however, limits itself to the essentials and proves that you can also shine fashionably with normal clothes, without a lot of color or patterns. Normcore includes everyday items of clothing such as T-shirts, short-sleeved shirts, hoodies, chinos, or jeans. GOTHCORE It's not far from Devilcore (coming soon) to Gothcore - there are some similarities. This trend combines the aesthetics of goth and metal music. A new style is created from the two clothing styles of these music genres. Black skinny jeans and a black T-shirt are a good start. Special attention is also paid to make-up, with pale eyes and extra-thick eyeliner as a standard. Anime characters such as Misa Amane for the ladies or Ryuk for the men are role models and an inspiration for a more modern interpretation of the look. BALLETCORE One of the latest trends, which has also originated on TikTok in 2020, is Balletcore. It is a hyperfeminine aesthetic among mainly young women and is related to Princesscore. The style is based either on training clothes or the costumes worn by professional ballet dancers. Short skirts, leggings, leg warmers, delicate shades of pink, a little tulle, and tutus are all important elements of Balletcore. GOBLINCORE Some trends are, well, let's just say they take some getting used to. Goblincore is an aesthetic based on the appreciation of aspects of nature that are not normally considered beautiful. A goblin is a small, usually malevolent forest spirit, and this trend is based on their clothing. Animals such as frogs or snails, and materials such as moss, mud, or plants are part of this beloved ugliness. While Fairycore tends to represent the lovely little fairies, Goblincore is gloomier. The fashion can include any type of clothing, but earth tones or green in all its facets are a must. Many of the garments are worn and combined in such a way that colors and patterns contradict each other. CYBERCORE Cybercore, also known as Y3K, is an aesthetic that worships the secular future. It originally came from the underground rave scene in the UK. After the internet was invented in the 90s, it quickly took off with futuristic ideas, from clothing to architecture. Cybercore relies on silver as the main color, metallic sheen, latex, spiky hairstyles, and tight-fitting sunglasses. The term Y3K was coined due to a temporal shift; originally it was Y2K. Oversized hoodies, complemented by huge baggy pants, rounded off with chunky boots with platform soles - just as we imagine fashion in the future.
