  1. I see atm (those 3 SHIT loses and 4 out of 5 are doing my head in)
  2. fair enough, I have not watched him much since last season I decided against him last season anyway deffo not on my wish-list (I am all about Romagnoli, Skriniar, José Giménez, or Konate, not that we will make moves for any of them, lolol, I think our overall ambitions are now much lower than they were in the first 9 or 10 years)
  3. Zaha yet again so far looks pants versus a turgid Brighton side crazy IMHO that some people think this bloke is worth £80m
  4. I honestly do not have a clue what we are going to do, other than 80%+ chance we buy Ake
  5. I would fine the living fuck out those jackasses
  6. top ten to top 15ish yes there are not that many great CB's out there I have seen him have some massive games last year and in the season before last when MJ and I were tracking him fairly hard

  8. Havertz is having a very poor year (especially compared to last when he came the first teenage MFer in a big 5 league to score 20 goals in a season) 3 goals, 1 assist all comps 1627 minutes (only two in the league, the 3rd was against a truly shit Alemannia Aachen side in the Pokal) One of those 2 league goals was against a wretched Paderborn side whose total market valuation is around £24m on T-markt and who would struggle to stay up in the Championship. The other was against Augsburg, He also was horrid in the CL. That said, his price is lower atm than it was in the summer.
  9. not if we really are serious about being in the top 4 every year, challenging for the title in a couple years, and going deep in the CL he is simply not good enough to merit getting 3rd or 4th CB minutes, let alone be one of our starters he is horrid on the ball and his positional game is far too often weak he is also shit in the air on headers, which is crazy given his size he needs to be sold in the summer or we are headed down a path to years of poor play in far too many games from him
  10. there is no one our wingers, other than Pulisic (who cannot carry the team alone atm like Hazard could at times) are simply nowhere near quality at this point (CHO included, unfortunately, due to his massive injury) #dire
  11. Chelsea fans react to Ben White rumours https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/12/16/chelsea-fans-react-to-ben-white-rumours/ Chelsea's defence hasn't exactly been secure this season, and that may just tempt Frank Lampard into the transfer market. The Blues lost for the fourth time in five Premier League games on Saturday, falling to a 1-0 defeat as issues at the back continue to be shown up. Antonio Rudiger and Kurt Zouma were given the nod on Saturday, but they couldn't stop Dan Gosling from scoring the winner at Stamford Bridge. Andreas Christensen and Fikayo Tomori have been given chances too, but with Chelsea possessing the leakiest defence in the top eight, Lampard must be eyeing reinforcements now Chelsea's transfer ban has been lifted. The Sun now claim that Chelsea are keen on Brighton and Hove Albion defender Ben White, who is currently on loan at Leeds United in the Championship. It's claimed that Lampard thinks White can make an instant impact with Chelsea, and they may be willing to stump up £25million to tempt Brighton into recalling White and selling him on. That would be hugely disappointing for Leeds, as the 22-year-old has been outstanding his season, fitting Marcelo Bielsa's style perfectly with his ability to play out from the back. However, whilst some Chelsea fans seem to be attracted to White's potential, many are taking to Twitter to suggest that this isn't the calibre of signing they're looking for in January. Some feel that White isn't the ideal signing because a left-sided defender like Nathan Ake would be better, whilst others feel that targeting a player who Brighton loaned out shows how far Chelsea are sinking. Some really don't want more Championship players after the likes of Tomori, Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham played there last season, and think it's time for a big name to arrive rather than somebody like White.
  12. I think their only truly big big mistake was not going for Nagelsmann as manager I rate the hell out of him (wanted him here as soon as Conte looked like he was out)
  13. A huge reason they have defensive issues is that they have 2 top 10 or so in the world CB's out injured (Niklas Süle out for the year and Lucas Hernández (who is also a top 3 in world LB) out with a broken ankle until February) They are using fullbacks (they have the best group in the world there, as Victimpool have zero depth) and even their only true DMF to cover. The one non-injury massive weak spot is at DMF, Javi Martínez is past his prime, and Kimmich is wasted there. They are mad if they do at least make a play for a crunching DMF in January (I am terrified they grab Thomas for only £42m) Those fullbacks (when all are healthy) are insane LB David Alaba (2nd best LB in the world (after Robertson), and maybe wants to leave in the summer) LB Lucas Hernández (3rd best LB in the world, I would probably take him over the number 4, Chilwell (very close, and Chilwell is young (although only 10 months younger, lolol) so can go past him as a LB, but his CB ability deffo tips the scale to Lucas), and also a top 10 CB) LB Alphonso Davies (their future, a teen who already looks a beast) RB Kimmich (2nd best RB in the world, can play DMF and CB as well) RB Benjamin Pavard (top 10 in the world RB, and also a top 25 CB) holy fuck would I KILL for that group (and they all, except Davies, can play CB too)
  14. bring those fuckers on! I am up for whatever happens at this point it isn't like a team can go deep into the CL without beating top 10 teams in the world anyway I SO wish CHO had not ripped up his Achilles and went on (he still technically can, just not at current form) to destroy them!
  15. only way Saul makes sense (and IMHO I think this does make sense) is if we are selling Kante (he turns 30yo next season) in the summer and also buying a real crunching DMF like Thomas Partey (only £41.7m RC) to go with Saul (basically GUTTING AM's MF, lolol) or even Declan Rice at DMF (who will cost near double Thomas though) A Kante sale would cover most of the first two, and put us within 40 to 50m of Saul plus Rice. I am very aware that any talk of selling Kante is poison here. I am only showing what could be done. I truly just wish we would go back to using him as a destroyer, he is far far more impactful there, and lawd knows our defence needs it. Again, I expect a lot of hate from some quarters for even saying that in regards to his position. Rational thought (whether I agree with it or not, or whether others agree with my thoughts or not) and fair discussion seems to go out the window with Kante. It seems like some just want to ram him down the club's throat playing where Sarri moved him to, consequences be damned.
  16. I am open (for reasons stated in multiple posts and regardless of the hate I might get) to broaching the subject of selling Kante in the summer. I think he is being misused here now for two straight years. Kante as a more forward CMF would NEVER have gotten the global admiration he has. He was such a key to our title-winning defence (and Leicesters and France's) and know he is not being used in that way and it shows, badly. Unless we use him like we used to, he is a massive luxury player. that said I am not convinced of Havertz AT THE PRICE Bayer will demand (£100m or more I am looking at) Saul at £85m, on the other hand, is a fair price, he is a truly world class CMF and very versatile (can play LB, and AMF as well). I have some some slag him off, and I could not disagree more. Houssem Aouar is another creative CMF whom I like, as is Maximilian Eggestein of Werder Bremen. IF we sell Kante, we need a true DMF to replace him. Thomas at AM is a steal at around £42m release clause. The other option (as the club is apparently NOT interested in Camavinga) is Declan Rice. He will, however, cost close to double what Thomas will. I also like Sandro Tonali, a LOT. As for AMF's, yes Havertz is a potential world-beater (but is having a poor year so far), but the cost is just so high now, so maybe we can look at Nicolò Zaniolo, 20yo, BIG (1.90m) fast, and LEFT FOOTED who can also play RW. and finally, another left-footed RW/AMF soon 20yo (April) in the mix is our new Swedish star, Dejan Kulusevski (1.86m) who is on loan at Parma (tearing up Serie A, over a full season he is tracking to 10 to 12 goals and 16 to 18 assists in the league) from Atalanta Swedish ace Kulusevski left Kalidou Koulibaly on the turf when scoring past Napoli on Saturday
  17. CIES Football Observatory n°278 - 16/12/2019 Weekly Post Performance MVP of the semester: big-5 league teams The CIES Football Observatory has developed a property algorithm to assess the performance of footballers from the exclusive data produced by the leading sports company OptaPro. Issue number 278 of the Weekly Post presents the MVP per big-5 league club, as well as the top values for each of the six areas of the game analysed. Only players fielded for at least nine (MVPs) and respectively six (per domain) full domestic league matches are included. The MVPs are footballers whose performance had the biggest influence in their teams’ results. We notably find Marco Verratti at Paris St-Germain, Lionel Messi at Barcelona, Toni Kroos at Real Madrid, Kevin de Bruyne at Manchester City, Virgil van Djik at Liverpool, Ciro Immobile at Lazio, Jamie Vardy at Leicester City, Dimitri Payet at Olympique Marseille, Miralem Pjanić at Juventus, Sven Bender at Bayer Leverkusen and Milan Škriniar at Inter. At Real Madrid, five different footballers head the tables per area of the game: Raphaël Varane for rigour (duels), Carlos Casemiro for recovery (interceptions), Toni Kroos for distribution (passes), Eden Hazard for take on (dribbles) and Karim Benzema for both chance creation (assists) and shooting (attempts). At Barcelona, three players only top the rankings: Lionel Messi for all of the attacking indicators, Clément Lenglet for rigour and Sergio Busquets for both recovery and distribution. Best player per club and area of the game Domestic league matches, 01/07/2019-10/12/2019 more rankings at the link above
  18. I double checked he have a mini Koulibaly thang (Napoli lied for years, saying he was 1.95m, when in reality he was only 1.87m) t-markt says 1.82m wiki says 1.85m
  19. I just hope we don't pull a Spuds 2 7 at SB
  20. Atalanta vs. Valencia what a FUCKING JOKE and no, it is not just on Barkley alone, Lamps bears the blame as well, plus many other players arguably the worst overall round of 16 match-up in ages that said I would LOVE to upset Bayern (it can be done) and draw those Valencian cunts in the quarters (if they go through, Atalanta can take them out)
  21. holy fuck!! BRUTAL like that Zouma smash with a Cantona kung-fu kick added eeeeeeeeeek
  22. Chelsea fans not keen on signing Wilfried Zaha https://www.thechelseachronicle.com/club-news/chelsea-fans-not-keen-on-signing-wilfried-zaha/ Chelsea have been linked with a number of wingers in recent weeks, and a name that will not go away is Wilfried Zaha. The club could reportedly step up their interest in the Crystal Palace winger, despite his £80 million valuation. However, some fans are not keen on signing the Ivorian winger. Zaha is widely regarded as one of the most direct wingers the Premier League has seen in recent times. He provides a huge threat when bearing down on a defender in a one-on-one situation, and can tempt defenders into making reckless challenges. Despite this, some Chelsea fans are not convinced. His numbers this season in terms of goals and assists have been disappointing, to say the least. He has scored just two goals and provided one assist in 15 Premier League starts. These numbers are not traditionally those of an £80 million attacking investment. Similar to former Chelsea man Eden Hazard, Zaha does drag numerous defenders his way which creates space for his teammates to exploit. This is a difficult statistic to measure, but one that is worth considering. There is also the argument that Zaha’s Palace teammates could be hampering his output. It is fair to say that he would be surrounded by better players at Stamford Bridge, and that could be the catalyst for an upturn in his attacking exploits. Despite this, his valuation and lack of goal contributions this season have left Chelsea fans unconvinced. Here is what some fans have had to say on Twitter about the ongoing rumours.
  23. you rate him over Ake??? make no mistake, just because I want a truly WC CB like Skriniar or Romagnoli, I want to be clear that I DO rate Ake, and fairly highly, so if this lad (I have only seen him once) is THAT good, then perhaps that £25m is not as enraging as it appears to be he looks fairly skinny, and is only 1.82m (then again Ake even shorter, which is a worry) Ake for me is an AC replacement Romagnoli/Skriniar for Zouma and either will be a deffo starter (obviously) I will keep an open mind and watch him play more
  24. Exclusive: Chelsea Consider January Move for Bordeaux Forward Josh Maja https://www.90min.com/posts/6518038-exclusive-chelsea-consider-january-move-for-bordeaux-forward-josh-maja?utm_source=RSS ffs, this is a player LEEDS should be looking at, NOT CHELSEA take away his fluke hat trick versus bottom of the table Nimes, he has two league goals, one back in August he cannot even break into their lineup as a full time starter and he is 21yo in 11 days, so is not a teen
  25. so depressing, I must admit it is shocking that Alonso is still around refusing £45m for hm from RM and then renewing him on top of that was a double wall-meet-head moment for me that motherfucker Sarri with his gaslighting 'best LB in Europe' bullshit
