  1. Bournemouth is perfect we buy Ake and lend them Guehi Howe is a good defensive coach and he would get playing time as they are decimated in their back 4 atm just my tuppence
  2. I do not think we are going to sell Zouma this summer as we have too many other pressing needs and grabbing a truly WC CB is just too hard and too expensive atm Romagnoli has just hired the cunt Mino Raiola as his agent, so that fucks that I am sure, and basically the top 10 teams on the planet are all going to go for Skriniar and probably Marquinhos I see no links at all with us and Konate since February, when we scouted him (I must say, Leipzig perhaps would go for an AC plus cash deal, as AC was superb in the Bundesliga and he fits their playing style to a T, but I doubt the club/board/Lamps is thinking this at all, they appear all in for Ake) that leaves only 2 left, the impossible-without-dangling-Kante Raphaël Varane (and maybe not even then) and finally José Giménez who has a 120m euro RC (£103m atm) which is out of our price range (and he has not looked the player he has been since Godin left) I do think we are going to sell AC and buy Ake (basically a net wash or close in net spend) I am not sure at all if we are buying Ben White (on loan at Leeds from Brighton) as £25m seems awfully high and he is 23 next season, and would be our 5th CB, so it isnt like we can just wait 3, 4 years for him to just sit with a really limited amount of playing time (barring injuries) I think that was all an internet rumour for now A wild card play would be to try and swap Zouma plus cash for Caglar Söyüncü, but I have no idea if Leicester would go for that, and IF Leicester has CL (it would take a collapse for them not to) and we do not, then I doubt he would want to come atm anyway so, barring some surprise I would say our CB's for next season will be Rudiger Tomori Ake Zouma (unless we can hypnotise Leicester into swapping out Söyüncü or really roll the dice with Ben White, both of which are highly doubtful, as I think Lamps loves Zouma and will not give him up) Marc Guehi (probably goes out on loan) emergency backups will be Azpi and Reece
  3. Leeds fans stunned by Ben White performance on Twitter The Leeds United loanee finally had a poor game under Marcelo Bielsa. https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/12/21/leeds-fans-stunned-by-ben-white-performance-on-twitter/ Leeds United fans on Twitter can't believe how poor Ben White was this afternoon. White has been a revelation since joining Leeds on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion. He is a huge reason as to why Marcelo Bielsa's side had conceded only 13 goals in 22 Championship outings before today. But the visit to Fulham this afternoon was one to forget for the 22-year-old. The Leeds centre-back conceded a silly penalty inside eight minutes by putting his hands on Aleksandar Mitrovic, who needed no invitation to go to ground before smashing home the penalty. Mitrovic was a pest for White all evening long and another of his errors almost led to the Elland Road side going 2-1 down in the second half. On the whole, it wasn't what Leeds fans have come to expect from the young stalwart, and here's how some supporters reacted to his display. snip
  4. 'I don't believe a word that comes out of that man's mouth' - Gary Neville hits back at Paul Pogba's agent Mino Raiola https://www.independent.ie/sport/soccer/premier-league/i-dont-believe-a-word-that-comes-out-of-that-mans-mouth-gary-neville-hits-back-at-paul-pogbas-agent-38808221.html Gary Neville has hit back at snipes directed at him from Paul Pogba's agent Mino Raiola, as he reiterated his belief that the French World Cup winner wants to leave the club. Raiola claimed Neville's comments suggesting Pogba is not committed to United has affected his image among the club's supporters, with his return to action for the first time since September 30th in Sunday's 2-0 defeat at Watford reopening the debate over his future at the club. Real Madrid are still believed to be keen to sign Pogba in next month's transfer window, with United legend Neville pulling few punches in his assessment of the club's record signing as he responded to Raiola's snipes. "A flying, fit, motivated Paul Pogba is a massive asset to Manchester United, but I don't believe a word his agent says," Neville told Sky Sports. "I don't believe a word that comes out of that man's mouth. snip

Chelsea fans will love what Mason Mount's dad has said after Spurs victory Mount was an impressive performer against Spurs at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday and his dad has used social media to have his say on the match and Jose Mourinho https://www.football.london/chelsea-fc/news/chelsea-fans-love-what-mason-17463209
  7. Chances of Man Utd move over as attacker jets into Qatar for medical https://www.teamtalk.com/news/chances-of-man-utd-move-over-as-attacker-jets-into-qatar-for-medical Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic has flown into Qatar to complete a move from the Serie A champions to Al-Duhail, according to a report. The 33-year-old, who has been at Juve since a move from Atletico Madrid in 2015, has been linked with a move away from Turin in recent months due to his relationship with boss Maurizio Sarri. Mandzukic has not made a competitive outing since the Italian took over from Max Allegri in June, with Manchester United one of the sides linked with his signature. Indeed, it was claimed earlier in the season that Croatian international Mandzukic was being eyed by Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to provide back-up in attack, following the summer exits of Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku from the club. However, according to Sky Sports Italy, a move to Old Trafford now looks off the cards with the striker jetting into the Middle East to seal a deal with Qatar Stars League side Al-Duhail. The report claims that Mandzukic is set to undergo a medical ahead of signing an 18-month deal with the club. snip
  8. I agree, it is a huge amount to toss the dice on for that matter, so is £80m for Zaha I have no idea what is going on with Ziyech, Isco, Nicolò Zaniolo (who is my favourite out of these), etc etc the only 2 players I 100% am sold on are Chilwell and Werner (Werner due to low price, IF he was £100-120m plus as well, then right back to same spot as I am with Sancho) also (again due to price) a great deal is Thomas Partey for DMF (only £42m RC) but I have seen zero links and as I have said before, I think the club really wants Declan Rice Ake for £40m is also in the almost no-brainer because of his ball-playing skills and he also can cover at LB (not sure how good he actually is there at all, I would need to watch some footage) I think I soon just retreat from all this speculation and toss my faith with the club and Lamps to do the right thing (hopefully they are done with the 2014-18 nightmare decisions)
  9. a buyback clause absolutely locks a player in, they have to go back a first refusal (depending on the wording, which is not so clear in this case) is more nebulous so let's hope that Sancho has no desire to go back to Shitty
  10. lets hope this is indeed the case I have gotten my hopes up a dozen times in last 6 years or so only to end up disappointed
  11. I have to add, I am not 100% convinced that Shitty would do it, but I am wary of the option
  12. lets hope so if Sanes goes to Bayern, Shitty will be looking to replace
  13. the right of first refusal has been talked about since I joined here, or near to it Man City hoping to lure Jadon Sancho back in £90m transfer… and believe five things are in their favour above rivals https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/10563805/man-city-jadon-sancho-90m-transfer-dortmund/ MANCHESTER CITY are stepping up their pursuit to get Jadon Sancho back from Borussia Dortmund. And Pep Guardiola’s side believe there are five key reasons why they are favourite to land the England winger. The 19-year-old quit the Etihad in the summer of 2017 in his search for regular first-team football. He has gone on to become one of the best attackers in Europe, scoring 21 goals in just 59 Bundesliga matches. The Continent's elite are all looking to snap him up, including Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona. But City feel have the advantage on their rivals, with a number of contractual factors already in their favour. These include: 20 per cent discount of transfer fee due to sell on clause. Option to match any offer which comes in from other clubs. Big pals with Raheem Sterling and other England players. Knows the club inside out after spending two years there. Looking to quit Dortmund in search of a step up in club ambition. City have started to look for a replacement for Leroy Sane, as Bayern Munich prepare another bid. It is understood Guardiola has sent staff over to Germany for regular scouting missions on Sancho since he left. snip
  14. If City match the price, Sancho will go back to them, I see little to stop that from happening. I do not see Sancho vetoing it, for reasons stated above. That 20% sell-on clause also gives them a huge advantage as well.
  15. Chelsea hero John Terry takes savage dig at Tottenham after London derby win https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/chelsea-hero-john-terry-takes-21149520
  16. wrong see my other posts on the subject unless it is written into the contract (which makes ZERO sense for Shitty or any team to do so at it defeats the entire purpose of both a buy back and a right of first refusal clause) a player cannot void the deal. He signed the contract, he must legally abide by it. And if Sane is sold to Bayern, Sancho would have little reason to NOT want to go back to them anyway, as it would be Pep and the club not only admitting they made a huge mistake, but paying dearly to sort that mistake)
  17. lol you need to read up on contractual law a player has no rights to refuse a buy-back or a right of refusal clause unless that is specifically written into the contract (and why would a team ever do that as it defeats the entire purpose of either clause) I have posted extensively on this before
  18. IF Pep stays at Shitty, get prepared to be disappointed on Chilwell too, he obviously is not happy with his choices (all 3 of them, lololol) now and can easily raise funds by selling off 2 of them (LB's are so easy to sell just look at all the teams who want ours in the past 2 or 3 years) I see zero links with us and Telles, let alone the far pricier (60m euro RC) Grimaldo and then the even more expensive (100m euro RC) Gaya, and after thsoe 4, it is a massive drop off, unless we can somehow make a deal with Bayern for Alaba (which is HIGHLY doubtful) Sancho himself is very iffy, as (see above) Shitty have both a right of first refusal and a sell-on clause that lowers the price they pay by 20%) the only for sure lock is Ake (due to his buyback clause) Ben White is speculation, and I do not see us buying him unless we well Zouma as well (AC is surely gone, so Ake replaces him) Romagnoli is now off the board due to his signing with that cunt Mino Skriniar will be too, if he also signs with Mino and both he, and AR are in same boat as Ben White anyway, IF we keep Zouma, we will not buy any of them Isco is speculation, plus I wager RM will pull some shit and do to us what Marina did to them with Alonso in 2018 Zaha is going to be the move we make, I fear IF Sancho deal goes up in smoke I see little to no action/links going on with us and Ziyech (and that is even if that is a good deal, which I have doubts on) Werner is a MUST buy IMHO, but there is absolutely zero guarantees on that, and he will not come I fear if we do not have CL football next year If Werner falls though as well, I have no idea who we make a mover for, a lot of names linked, but I see nothing really concrete (I would hope it is Jovic on a loan with option to buy) Bonus report on LB (a teen I said was the best or close to best youth option) I think this MIGHT be Leicester, getting ready to lose Chilwell, OR (let's hope so) it is Shitty making a move now OR the nightmare, it is either Victimpool or Manure or Spuds in which case even my main youth LB option is off the board with zero advantage to us or maybe it is us (really doubtful I think, but who knows) Premier League side makes €30m bid for Angers left-back Rayan Aït-Nouri https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2019/premier-league-side-makes-e30m-bid-for-angers-left-back-rayan-ait-nouri/ L’Équipe report that 18-year-old Angers SCO left-back Rayan Aït-Nouri has been the subject of a €30m offer from an unnamed Premier League club. A few days ago, Angers General Manager Olivier Pickeu met with Jorge Mendes, the teenager’s agent, in London on the subject of negotiations with a major English club about a January deal. In this meeting, a concrete €30m offer was conveyed to Angers for the player. The club is a top 5 Premier League team, but their identity has yet to be unveiled. In recent past, both Manchester clubs have been after Aït-Nouri. The player is kept up to date about discussions week after week. Angers representatives are determined to make the player’s departure a club record sale. Mendes and Pickeu have become unlikely buddies in recent years and are working together towards that goal for Le SCO. Pickeu wants €35m in order to let the player go, and several possible scenarios have been talked through to that end. A William Saliba – Arsenal type deal that would see Aït-Nouri return on loan to Angers for some time, for example. Angers representatives would prefer not to sell the player until summer, but won’t rule a January exit out… snip
  19. We all are forgetting the 800 pound gorilla in the room with Sancho. Shitty have right of first refusal AND they have a built in 20% discount (due to a sell on clause as well) and Sane is basically 90% going to Bayern https://www.bild.de/bild-plus/sport/fussball/fussball/leroy-san-zum-fc-bayern-er-hat-sich-entschieden-66762634,view=conversionToLogin.bild.html even if we accept that we will pay £120 (or even £127m which is the full 150m euro asking price) Shitty will just take the 80 or 90m from the Sane sale (depending what they get for Sane), dump in £6 to £21m cash added (even if they only got 70m for Sane, they still at max would only pay around 31m extra and it could be only 26m or so if Sancho goes for 120m quid, all for a player with 4 years longer peak playing time or so, as Sancho is over 4 years younger) and walk away with him there is nothing he or we can do IF they decide to do that so I am far from thinking this is a done deal on any of the multiple ends
