Barcelona appoint former Real Betis coach Quique Setien as Ernesto Valverde replacement https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2020/01/13/barcelona-appoint-former-real-betis-coachquique-setien-ernesto/

Xavi said no until summer
-
why?? wasn't he doing great there? or are we shipping him out to an EPL side?
-
hard pass on him nope
-
He does have talent. His numbers are inflated but even at half of what he did there last year he is a good buy. 15 or so goals a year from your AMF is worth £50m.

I watch a lot of Serie A, it is why many of my reccos are from there
-
not if it is iced tea or the balls are not of the jacobs type as in

so the blue in bigbluewillie stands for

Dunk is not young (turns 29yo this year), it said young in all the original reports and it said £50m so that rules out Ake as well the only 2 it could have been (if it was not all bullshit) was either Diop (my guess) or Caglar Söyüncü (no way Leicester would sell him now, let alone for only £50m) there are no other EPL CB's that fit those 2 criteria (that we do not already have or are not for sale, like Gomez)

Bernard Arnault (LVMH), 2nd richest person on the planet after Bezos, just bought AC Milan.

FUCK!!!!!! Roma has confirmed Nicolo Zaniolo suffered an ACL injury with the midfielder stretchered off in front of Italy coach Roberto Mancini during the 2-1 loss to Juventus on Sunday. The 20-year-old had his head in his hands as he was withdrawn 36 minutes into the Serie A clash at the Stadio Olimpico after injuring his left leg when Juve defender Matthijs de Ligt halted his progress with a foul on the edge of the penalty area. Via their social media accounts post-match, Roma revealed Zaniolo will undergo surgery on Monday after confirming the probable season-ending injury. well, there goes my number one (if we fail on Sancho) left-footed RW/AMF target (now that fucking Juve (fucking figures) bought Dejan Kulusevski) de Ligt going full goon cunt fuck Juve and fuck Sarri I hope they all choke on a bag of dicks
-
He certainly has went downhill the last month plus hard pass on him at £70 or £80m atm, and more than likely this summer as well would love to see Leicester crash out of the top 3 but not top 4 1 Dippers 2 Shitty 3 Chels 4 Leicester works for me even better Wolves at 4, Foxes in 5th (so we can have a go at James Maddison, or Wilfred Ndidi, and Caglar Söyüncü, who are deffo their best 3 players) Sheffield United 6th Everton 7th Manure, Arse and Spuds no Europe at all, which fucks them revenue wise and also in recruitment Manure will have the revenue anyway, so maybe better to have then tied up with the EL next year
-
good, now sell him
-
Robertson easily got the ball first
-
Real just beat Atleti on pens in the Supercopa final Courtois was just immense all game and in the pen shootout Oblak was even better until the pens that said Real should have lost Morata had a breakaway and Valverde red card tackled him on purpose just outside the box he got sent off but there was no pen awarded a horrid nil nil game overall for 120 minutes Simeone's teams are some of the worst to watch in the top 20 terrible, cynical football

It is almost all bullshit when it comes to links and us I go off what Lampard says and Lampard sounds like a man who isnt buying shit nor is selling much of anything other than Giroud maybe Alonso if Marina comes down off her too high to buy price with Inter
-
she is handed the ones to buy and the ones to sell and is also involved in contractual management for pre-existing players and proceeds to bollocks up far more than she gets right our scouting department and the linkage with the previous managers has been horrific lately too, with a few exceptions like Kante and Rudiger Jorginho was one of the few that was strictly do to the manager I so think that IF we had no bans, we might not have even purchased Kovacic ffs
-
I slate her hard for the business and strategic end, never the scouting if she is actually having input (which I very much doubt) into whom to buy from a footballing talent perspective, then we are well and truly fucked
-
Azpi will be at LB for most of the rest of the season, and the next one as well if we do not buy anyone I feel it in me bones only time he will not be is if he is RB and James is benched/injured or Azpi is injured himself Frank doesn't trust either Emerson or Alonso (except for Alonso as the LWB when we play a back 3) which makes it all the more maddening if we do not buy an decent LB Robin Gosens (I have watched a tonne of tape) is good enough for me for now and will not cost insane money, he is like Alonso with twice the pace and a better cross and a much higher motor and close to as good a shot we should also at least try and make a move for Theo Hernandez from AC Milan who is now just streets ahead of Emerson RB James and Azpi LB Hernandez and Gosens is a vast improvement over what we have now and the 2 LB's (if we just fucking dump Emerson and Alonso) will only cost around £20 to 30m net or so (the same as only buying Chilwell) Both Gosens (25yo) and Hernandez (22yo) are around 1.84m too, so great size and physicality for the EPL
-
we are not buying any CB's this window and probably the next 2 as well IMHO, not with Lamps giving them all the big vote of confidence maybe some teenie-boppers for the academy
