K2 physically has everything we could ever want, played the most forward passes in serie A last year (dont quote me, saw it in an article) and most importantly if this is the defender conte wants it is who i want. lets hope the dominos fall and we get him in to training asap!

Understandable and fair. I'm just happy we got the year started with a big 3 points.

As everyone gets more comfortable in their roles the tactics will get sharper and more chances will be created(like Italy in the euros) I really loved how we played today. We were a little sloppy but being able to come back and get a win showed great resiliency and mental toughness. Those are things we lacked last year and seem to be back in spades. I love conte and that celebration! Great to have a little energy back at the bridge!

i really would like to keep matic as i think conte can get the best out of him. if he is determined to go minimum value needs to be 30 mill and if they do want to throw zaza in ill gladly take him. without zaza 35 in the current market and ill say enjoy your time in Italy

I am extremely skeptical this happens however IF a miracle happens I am not opposed to playing Willian with matic/kante as a hyper active 3rd. Could take matic out and put fab/Oscar in against weaker teams. Willian can defend and bring the ball forward with pace. A healthy zouma with matic and kante on fixes a lot of problems. Playing Oscar with fabregas clearly doesn't work. We need new blood in the D line. Zouma can't get back quick enough.

Good test to see if the boys can keep focus against a lesser opponent we were cruising against. Gotta be able to shut the door and cruise to victories rather than letting up.

Level of competition or not I like the movement/partnership of kante/matic. One presses high or chases the ball while the other reads and covers. Also azpi/bane have more freedom to venture forward, azpi particularly has been pressing aggressively this pre season.
