People thought I was trolling when I said Oscar is 5x the striker than current Drogba. He should be nowhere near the team at the moment.

No I'm not joking. Oscar put in a far better performance than Drogba did & it's not surprising when didn't look anywhere near as threatening once he was subbed off. Fabregas' best performances have always been when hes playing in the pivot, he's been poor-average almost everytime at #10.

Awful team in all honesty. Cesc at #10 with Drogba at CF is horrendous. I'm guessing Oscar isn't fit because he should be the 1st name on the teamsheet atm. He put in a better performance at #9 than Drogba has since Tottenham at home.

Oscar is actually a far better striker than this current version of Drogba. We understandably played for a point once he went off. Azpi & Terry different class. Hazard the worst player on both sides.

What exactly does Oscar have to do with this discussion, I've had enough of those senseless, agenda-driven discussions to last me a lifetime? And I've been watching Atletico regularly since Torres' first spell, through the Forlan days till this current era under Simeone. He's average yeah. Why settle for 3rd best when there are better options available?

He's potentially a better player than Pogba. I've been watching a lot of Valencia recently and I'm in awe by the things he regularly pulls off. For me Andre Gomes is kind of like a bizzaro mix of Vieira, Zidane & Lampard. He's physically dominant which is emphasized by his height (6'2) and weight 83 kg but unlike most players that hasn't hampered his skill, explosiveness & close control. He genuinely moves like most of those techno-midgets you mentioned. He's incredibly versatile and Santo has played him in various roles already this season (DM, AM, CM, LW). He's equally good with both feet and can ping balls with ease all over the park, right or left. I also think with his shooting technique he can be a 10 goal a season player. I understand you're an Isco fan but there isn't a single thing Isco is better than Hazard at. It's not a contest.

Stones, Andre Gomes & an elite winger should be the targets this summer. Possibly an attacking fullback as well. Jose went from Cole, Zanetti, Maicon & Marcelo to freaking Apzi/Ivanovic. Still gutted we couldn't close the deal for Luke Shaw. Andre Gomes especially should be on Jose's mind considering they both share the same nationality. I'll be furious if we blow our money on a bang average player like Koke instead of a nailed on WC player.

What we need to do is spend whatever it takes to get Andre Gomes. He's far better than Koke.

Benzema isn't a dribbler and Isco while great, is a midfielder not a forward. They need a Neymar/Messi is what I'm trying to say.

They absolutely need a player like Hazard. They don't have a single player of his type at Madrid while Barcelona have 3. Hazard completely destroys defensive shapes with his dribbling ability. Both Bale and Ronaldo lack the individual magic he possesses. Why do you think they regularly struggle against Atleti? They're probably out of the CL if not for Arda's red card. And why would he be a fool? He'd be an instant starter at Madrid. His prestige would automatically be increased playing for them, he'll be playing in an attacking system, his stats would increase & he'll surrounded by better players. Thankfully, Hazard is extremely loyal.

You're acting like Oscar is some 3rd rate player playing for Singapore. He starts for both Brazil and Chelsea under 6 separate managers, YOU may not think much of him but his managers sure do. There's literally nothing special about Koke at all. Schneiderlin would be a more sensible, cheaper and better signing for me.

What a load of rubbish. His passing accuracy is 78% while Oscar is averaging 82% yet Koke is the much better passer? Oscar has just 1 less assist than Koke despite not taking set pieces. And Koke is great in congested areas? What player are you watching exactly? He's bang average with the ball at his feet, you just made that up out of thin air simply because he's Spanish. There's absolutely no sophistication at all to his play.

I still maintain Oscar is a much better player than Koke. The former has 6 goals/8 assists despite going missing for the 2nd half of the season while Koke has just 2 goals and 9 assists all season. Oscar's major problem is a lack consistency & physicality while Koke lacks quality. Oscar has pulled off so many skills Koke simply doesn't have in his locker.
