  1. I have never heard of this term haha. It amazes me how attached people can get to a manager because I've never felt it with anyone. Ferguson and Wenger I understand because they were at the helm of complete transformations and stayed for so long. I'm not bothered by his antics of yesterday. He's a strange man imo so I'm not surprised. But maybe I don't understand the severity of his actions. The state of the team is what worries me. This is ridiculous.
  2. Stones is a boy for me. Still learning his trade. Chelsea needs someone who can take responsibility now, a rock. I can't help but feel Stones would need time to become that player, like Smalling did for example. Same goes for Zouma and he's already here. Mustafi has it all. Pace, strength, aggression, strong in the air. He can score a goal and even has experience at fullback. And as a bonus he's a personality. I was wondering how he'd cope without Otamendi but he took over and I'm not surprised. Already has experience in two leagues (Serie A and La Liga). He managed to to wriggle himself in the German first XI during the World Cup but was unfortunate to get injured and miss the rest of the tournament. But he played a part in the World Cup win. And his name is Shkodran. I mean, come on. Shkodran. Sounds like a Eastern-European half-human/half-android super soldier from the future.
  3. I have to say, he picked a great time to be injured. On vacation when a tsunami hits your home.
  4. Forget Marquinhos and Stones. Mustafi is our man. Believe that. He's German.
  5. Maybe I'll get burned for this but again, Cesc wasn't bad imo. In fact, he was even better. The best attacking player in possession in the first half. Willian really came alive in the second half. He moved into good positions and most of what he did was positive and came off. Maybe I need a tinfoil hat. But I understood the sub. He lacks speed and mobility and that was needed after trailing and playing with 10 men.
  6. Bielsa starts off really great before everything goes down south. Maybe he is the perfect interim manager.
  7. You too? Is there a TalkChelsea banner at a weekly bingo event? I'm impressed by your ability to adapt. I've seen younger failing to master a microwave.
  8. No, I agree with that. You couldn't predict this. But there was no way Chelsea could've kept on winning like they did in the second half of 14/15. That's what I meant with the team was wobbling.
  9. Calciopoli. I'm not saying he did a perfect job but branding him as manager that leaves disasters behind, to the point of needing years of rebuilding is incredibly harsh. I know you're not a fan of Ancelotti but a bit of nuance wouldn't hurt. Torres' signing wasn't crazy. It turned out to be a gigantic flop but the thought process behind the signing wasn't dumb. Sheva's signing was just as bad but the club dealt with him much better.
  10. You didn't think the team declined after Christmas? It took so much effort to win games. Diego, Oscar, Cesc, Matic all dropped off in form. The team could still defend, sure, but the performances were all so laberous. The games against PSG were just sad imo. I can honestly say I was worried about the way the team was heading in and voiced it multiple times. People would tell you that winning was all that mattered and the form would improve in the new season but that hasn't been the case.
  11. Forget the computer. I'm surprised he can flush a toilet. Zolayes, you have seen things.
  12. Harsh. What teams?. I know there's Milan but Milan was destroyed by the suits, the men/women running the club. There's no denying that now because they're worse off than ever. They even asked/begged him to come back and he was smart to turn them down. Chelsea sacked him before there was any chance for him to make an impact on the squad. And that squad was old.
  13. I guess that's fair. I just thought you'd be on his side till you drew your last breath. It's a shame it has got to come to this. Painful to watch and 15th in the table. I'm flabbergasted.
  14. I'm shocked, Tomo. You defend him like a bald-headed first son.
  15. Thank you. Inviting crosses has become a Chelsea hallmark. The foundation was held together by bubblegum. It was wobbling in the second half of 14/15 but the bubblegum has gone completely dry.
  16. Crazy Jason said his delivery from FKs was poor. His direct FKs are pretty awesome. Power and swerve. What a turnaround.
  17. Painfully average at the moment. Receive the ball, turn, dribble a bit and pass to the nearest person. Rinse and repeat. Sad.
  18. 5 out of 10. My goodness. This isn't even an ageing squad.
  19. That wasn't bad except for the idiotic Matic. But it's just not working. Another loss. This can not keep happening.
  20. Chelsea to sign Carroll in January.
  21. Genuinely proud of the reaction after conceding and receiving red. Did not expect that because of the way the team has capitulated when conceding before this season and red cards have been death sentences under Mourinho, always losing or dropping points if it happened. So they did well this time, great reaction. But the season just won't kick on. Enough to make you pull your hair out.
  22. How the heck did he call that offisde? It was so tight. Advantage attacking team. Wanted to punch him in the neck. Matic is an idiot, he was rightly sent off. The conspiracy theories about the FA, UEFA, NBA and NFL being against Chelsea are crazy. Sounding like Arsenal fans. Quit the drama.
