If he can make serious minutes, like 20+ starts, sure. If it's not at Chelsea, I hope he stays at Monaco.
-
He's not playing for a Footlocker salary. He can make stupid money at 21. Like Hazard. Like Benzema before Hazard.
-
Baka! 3-1. Don't concede that second goal Monaco.
-
Get that third goal. Already knew they would score.

That's not the right mindset imo. You play football assuming you'll be fit. You don't forget you could get injured but that's not what you expect to happen. At 18 (!) you have plenty of time. Players who experienced a steady journey to the top tend be more succesful than players who move to top sides at a young age. Few with a big move at a young age and little experience end up like Cristiano Ronaldo. It's more than just playing football elsewhere. You're life changes completely.

Everyone likes a forward likeMbappe. I was only half-joking. For me a player like Mbappe should be playing every week. Don't see that happening at Chelsea or any other major club.
-
He scored 9 in 14/15, 7 last season and 8 in the current season for Monaco (1 for Portugal for 9 in total). I've seen him in action more than a couple times and this guy is not a scorer. Don't see him producing Hazard kinds of numbers (consistently). I don't know. Maybe 4-3-3 next season when he'll be more comfortable to switch it up from time to time. Though I wonder about the CB duo in a 4-man defence. And Azpilicueta and Alonso as fullbacks. True but you don't want to end up with too much of the same. You create that and you end up complaining about that later. That would be a shame and a big problem in today's football. It's best for him develop in his own environment with less pressure rather than to chase moolah at this age.

I've been hyping Mendy since 2015. He was fantastic at Marseille and he's getting better and better. Now he's too known and he'll cost a fortune. I had doubts about him suiting the wingback position. As he's usually more effective attacking from deep but his composure and decision-making is improving. He could be a great fit. As long as he doesn't end up at an English club, I'll be fine if I don't see him in Chelsea blue.

How much would a Hazard-Costa-Silva front line score in a season? Costa +/- 25, Hazard 15-20, Silva +/-10? That's not enough. I hope Mbappe stays at Monaco for at least three more years. That's me assuming he's never joining Chelsea. I wouldn't want him getting subbed in 30 sec before full time anyway.
-
Fabinho makes it two. Monaco is a problem at home. They can do it. They will do it. Go for the third. Mendy is a terrific crosser. He actually picks his target and uses different techniques to reach them very accurately.
-
Mbappé goal. Make it happen boys.
-
I believe. As long as they don't let the pressure get to them. There is absolutely no need to fear. They're a goal-scoring machine at home. 3-1 for Monaco.

I wouldn't call Gattuso dirty though, rather a hard man. Players like Materazzi and Totti were dirty. But he was a hot head, yeah, and would get himself into trouble. You won't have to worry about Kante letting his team down due to a loss of self control.
-
Haha, I should've been more clear. Comparisons with Gattuso would make more sense. Tireless running, winning tackles all over, athletic, deceptively strong, rarely plays a bad game. Rino was a big personality though. He had an aura surrounding him and played with great authority. Something Kante still lacks as Maka pointed out after the Swansea game. But he can develop in that respect as he continues to gain experience.
-
Couldn't find any pics or even a name but she looks like a peng ting. Life of a baller. Tiny assassin. Gattusso.
-
Is that his girl next to him? I see what you're doing, Golo.
-
I see Sevilla snapped up Stoke's old technical director. Their team is huge. Severely lacking in skill as well. For their usual standards anyway. Good for Leicester fans. They are seriously punching above their weight and it's a one-off but it's still very hard to pull off. Their fans will most likely never experience something like this again. A PL title and the last eight of the CL. Just saw Kante. It's nice to see he still has connection with them.
-
No, thank you. I just don't see that top quality in him. Being young doesn't automatically mean you have a lot of room for growth. If so, Rooney would've been one of the greatest strikers of all-time. Players like Defoe, Luis Fabiano, Mario Gomez, Luca Toni, Anelka, Mandzukic, and the list goes on and on, all scored plenty of goals but were never top top strikers. Costa is in a similar boat but he makes for his flaws with his personality, work rate and that fire in his belly. So when he's on, he's a nuisance. And even he gets plenty of criticism. Lukaku lacks those qualities and that's probably my main gripe with the Belgian. A player of his level of talent should be working his socks off both offensively and defensively and be on his toes for 90 min at the highest level. Lukaku lets his head down too easily. If he doesn't get any space he often just disappears. And his work rate is anything but impressive. Maybe as part of a striking duo. Lukaku and Lacazette is something I'd love to see somewhere. They compliment each other brilliantly.
-
Oh, please. I heard and read that same nonsense in 14/15. The title is in the bag. They're not giving it away at this point, with a ten point lead. The question is whether Chelsea can make it a Double and turn 2017 into one of the most succesful years in club history.

http://www.givemesport.com/534501-eden-hazard-needs-more-protection-from-referees-says-jose-mourinho Then creates a plan to target Hazard. Life is funny.

Nahh, England is the worst when it comes to the top leagues. Players are permitted so much more. In fact, they're encouraged and praised for it. I've seen a lot of Barcelona games in my life but Messi never gets kicked about like Hazard (last night was of course worse than usual). Neymar receives similar treatment but he's provocative and has given a carte blanche to defenders to come get him because of it. I remember reading something about Ronaldo saying (behind closed doors) he grew tired of the kicking in England and it was one of the main reasons he left. Don't know if it's true but it makes sense. Thinking they have man up is nice and all but it's a gigantic pain to deal with, prevents you from playing to the best of your abilities and shortens your (top level) career.
-
Days like today reminds of how nice it is to have a man in charge who wants to play football, keep the topic on football and doesn't like to spark controversy. My kind of guy.
-
Mourinho didn't win jack for us. Just like Guardiola didn't win the treble for Barcelona and Lowe didn't win Germany the World Cup.
-
I strongly disagree, excluding uninspiring bums. But it's close.
-
I fear he'll soon grow tired of the kicking. He loves a game vs Utd, doesn't he? Arsenal, Utd, City, Liverpool, Spurs have all been conquered by Eden. Only Drogba and, to a lesser extent, Lamps compare when it comes to big game performances. It's time for that next step. Europe.
