  1. 30-35 assists? Maybe once in your career but that's just not possible. Assist kings even struggle to average 20+ assists a season. Hazard should be on 10-15 goals (open play) and around 15 assists by the end of the season, maybe even more. He's too talented not to get numbers like that.
  2. Exaggerating much? Ivanovic annihilated Alexis not too long ago btw.
  3. That's why I don't think it will happen, yeah. Chels is superior in every way.
  4. That would be disappointing. Liverpool don't deserve that much respect at all. Average side.
  5. So the plan is to sit back and counter-attack. Oh well, make sure you win then.
  6. Feels like I haven't seen Diego score a goal in ages. A goal for the big man today.
  7. He is Arteta part II. They're scarily similar. Arteta received rave reviews at first, now he can't do anything right according to Arsenal fans.
  8. Matic is Blind with a power level over 9000(!!!!!).
  9. His increased form over the past weeks has everything to do with his central role. I've always said this, he's so much better in the centre than out wide. It was the case at Udinese and it's the same for Chile. Even though he has everything you would want in a wide man, he truly comes alive with a roaming role in the middle. I wonder what will happen when Ozil returns. He's still an asset for Arsenal out wide but just not as good.
  10. Some of Stevie G's greatest moments for Chelsea! Legend.

  12. Expecting Stevie G to do a job on Stevie G personally.
  13. I do dream of Reus, but I have a feeling it's not going to happen. And quality wingers are scarce. You know who I would love? Muller. Never happening but that would be amazing.
  14. I hope you're right man. A few PL titles and the CL just has to be achieved within the next 5 years. If Hazard is going to produce performances like this more often, a 2nd goal-scorer will really be needed. Costa can't be the only relied on to put the ball in the net.
  15. You can't compare a great performance with a poor performance. That's not fair. CR vs Galatasaray pops to my mind. Good game + a few goals I think. I know I'd pick Hazard as a lover of football. But when you have the responsibility to win, it changes things. There's being a premier goal-scorer and there's messing up great opportunities... I will never expect Hazard to turn into a goal-machine but a player of his ability, should be scoring 12-15 goals from open play. And top players can't regularly mess up chances like that. But man oh man, I love Hazard. Unreal performance.
  16. C. Ronaldo can't do what Eden did today, but he would've scored the goals to win the game. Makes you wonder what you would rather have.
  17. PL IS THE BEST LEAGUE IN THE WORLD!!!!! Poor game, poor result. All I have to say.
  18. Anyone notice Hazard's improved running and movement off the ball? He's been a much bigger presence in the box lately and is making some very good runs behind defence. But he's hardly been on the end of through balls. Should improve as the chemistery grows between the players. His positioning between the lines is improving as well. Great signs.
  19. You really don't think Oscar is technically limited? He's decent in a lot areas technically but doesn't stand out in anything. Decent touch, decent shooter, decent dribbler, decent passer (I have to say, he's surprisingly a expert 1-touch passer though), decent finisher... he can be frustratingly sloppy. I'd call that technically limited. He really needs to make strides technically. When I say technically limited, I'm not saying you can hardly control a ball. That's the thing. Fabregas can't play every game and he will get injured from time to time. I personally don't like the fact that area of the squad is so lacking technically, as a elite side. I already mentioned why I chose Ramires over Khedira. And me not mentioning anything about his technique was definitely on purpose. But Ramires is already here. If you're going to get a upgrade on Ramires, get a real upgrade. Khedira has a lot of energy and is decent on the ball, but is another player who is at his best without the ball.
  20. Oscar is not a technically gifted player and Matic has 'good technique for a DM' but in general, he's technically solid though far from spectacular. That leaves you with two player with a great level of technique. To make that next step, I assume Chelsea still has the ambition to the best team in world football, you'll need a lot more technical ability in your squad. Real, Bayern and (prime) Barca prove that fact. Take out Fabregas and Chelsea's centre midfield becomes all about power and work-rate. That's not good. I don't agree with Khedira being a upgrade on Ramires btw. They're on a similar level, both have their qualities and weaknesses. I'd rather have Ramires for his athleticism, speed, versatality and his transition play, which is crucial for Chelsea's system. Khedira's injury really was a blessing in disguise for Real. It made way for more gifted players, and they're better than ever (talking about recent times, of course).
  21. A player's worth doesn't even exist. We, the people who watch football, do not decide how much a player is worth to the interested club. So many factors are at play when deciding how much they're willing to spend on a player. Zidane was not worth 75 - 80 mil euros back in 2001, Drogba was 'not worth' 24 mil pounds, incredible amount of money back then, and CR was not worth 80 mil pounds back in 2009 (again, a figure that was more significant at the time, even though it's still crazy in today's market. One thing's for sure, Chelsea bought Hazard for 32 mil pounds and his stock has skyrocketed since then.
  22. Khedira? Chelsea have a squad filled with technically limited players. If you're going to buy someone, get a technically gifted player.
  23. Chelsea will never be willing to sell Hazard so if he does want to leave someday, expect crazy money. As for the whole Real thing, don't forget Hazard's character and situation. He's very laid back (doesn't seem to be chasing stardom at all), has a family and is already playing for an elite team. He's the most popular and most liked player at Chelsea, Chelsea can offer him very high wages and as long as he starts winning trophies consistently, he might be here a lot longer than some seem to think. But it's silly to worry about it anyway. Players come and go. You can't control it. Just enjoy the fact that he's here now.
  24. Tbf, I think Jason sniffs glue in his spare time.
  25. It goes further than that though. They're just so good. Tactically, everyone knows their job and knows where to move, making sure whoever is on the ball has plenty of passing options. They defend and attack as a unit. There was a moment when Arbeloa took a shot after a loose ball. The ball ended up in the feet of a Pool player and they had the chance to counter-attack. One of their attacking dropped back to receive the ball, but Varane tracked him all the way up the pitch, putting him under pressure, which forced him to play the ball backwards... bye bye counter-attack. That's world-class defending. That kind of play allows you to dominate and make your opposition look weaker than they truly are.
