Grant: It's Hard Work, But I'm 'optimistic By Nature'
joe_kura replied to Steve's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
optimistic? lol. just looking at his anxious face and then came the scrubbing of his head will make his players feel 'reeeeeeeeeeaaally' optimistic. -
roman listen to those twisted person in terms of football only, not in his business. he paid our debts and buy all the players, but that is the owner main job, if he likes it or not. and he only spend less than 2% of his fortune on us so there is nothing special about it.
-
sorry mate, i 100% disagree. let ricky defend himself, he has been in situation like this before such as he stepped on rooney's dick (england vs portugal), he buried his studs in marquez thigh and lots more. and if respect is gained as easy as you have said, this world could be a much better place. moreover, he didnt sounds like he mean business especially to his players. avram's act is an easy point of mockery, even to his own players. remember how joe cole improve as a player when mourinho made public on what he didnt like about him and how west ham fortune have changed significantly after their gaffer labelled their player 'baby bentleys' on newspaper.
-
totally agreed. especially the cunt sign the goddamn contract before the arsenal game while roman can offered him much earlier than that.
-
are you for real? how many Chelsea game have you watched? which part of lampard is lazy? are you judging him base on england performance? Ballack performance is good but it is early to make any statement, he faced 10 men villa players most of the game. fact: until Oct 18, 2006, lampard had scored 73 goals for Chelsea and only 6 of them are deflected!! do you own calculation mate!! read this article if you dont believe me. http://football.guardian.co.uk/theknowledge/story/0,,1924393,00.html ://http://football.guardian.co.uk/thek...tml

we have a rookie manager who always defend players even when they did something really stupid. i like ricky and he is one of our best defender but he deserved to be blow dryed after that tackle and any good or ordinary manager will gone ballistic on him. i wonder where to classified avram's managing skill then?
-
funnily i agree with you, grant. but we have to make a little change... YOU HAVE TO RESIGN, ASAP!! then we can start looking at the bright sight!!
-
lol, i LOVED to see him tapping his head during match. fantastic motivation to the team!! while the dream to be the world biggest team is going straight in to the drain. all i can do is pray to god so that that cunt will get fired ASAP.

The Cost Of Injury, Suspension And International Games
joe_kura replied to BlueLion.'s topic in Matthew Harding Stand
the answer is JOSE!! btw, we have a big squad. many of them are descent players, proven premier league players and have-done-it players, not fringe players. why the hell are we struggled against aston villa at home? Does grant have any contigency plan if things didn't go as we wanted? all i can see is he keep on carboncopied mourinho's plan, minus the defensive discipline, the togetherness on the pitch, how to get the results, how to kept cech focus with or without injuries,. on ricky getting the red card, mourinho would go balistic on him while that stupid motivator backing him like he did nothing wrong.players deserve to be hair-dryed(sorry, manure's term) when he doing something stupid that would cost us big time. i agree that he has played well but making a high tackle with two foot is unnecessary and stupid! -
we need other top team to slip up? sounds like england national team, did you? we have to rely on others and while it is in our hands, we fucked up! we have the same problem as england, the manager are shit!! the mentality in Chelsea is really fragile while the defensive discipline going directly to the drain.
-
ah.. always looking at the brightsight, aren't you? credit or not, we should win every game right now just to catch up with arse and manu, while liverfool is right behind our ass. statistically, if we failed to do it, then we can say good bye to premier league while to be on the fourth position will be a huge challenge. avram inability to manage a football club has become clearer. somebody have to create a dossier on avram's inability and hand it out to roman. while he dub himself as a motivator, his impression on the dug out didn't seem as one when we are in trouble. even my confidence drop when i see him tapping his forehead while there is more than 15 minutes to go!
-
imo, grant is a much better friend than mourinho. but he will only be a friend to you only if you are rich and have a football club.
-
duh... he is the owner. like it or not, but it is the owner job to pay the debt of his belonging. everyone who own something have to pay for it expences. even me, the owner of my car, have to pay the loan, taxes, maintenance on my own. more over, he only spent less than 1% of his fortune, there is not such a big deal for him. and like misschief said, he get back in shares. but i wonder what take him so long if he is really commited.the bond had been here from ken bates era. i wonder if it is just a show off act to repair his tarnished image and to shut our mouth about our current and previous manager.
-
so you telling us, we hate grant and we are not true Chelsea fans? we support Chelsea as a club, not grant, as all you grant-lover always said, we should support Chelsea not mourinho's Chelsea. we are a club with big ambition, not a club for any rookie manager to learn their trade. by the way it still mourinho's team, the starting line up, substitutions, tactical changes are a photocopied of mourinho's era. the only different is we lack winning mentality, the player still work hard though. so i don't see avram will improve us. it is a little bit funny that not a single club outside israel were interested of hiring him as their manager.
-
nice! being positive aren't you. we'll win it for sure but still guessing about sheva to score
-
100% spot on!! misschief for our director of football post!!
-
we didn't have our key players, but it should not be an excuse to not to play the promised attacking football. by the way we have decent players to cover for all the position we play. we also have decent and promising youth players. he made the promised but didn't keep it. isn't it what we called a "LIE"? people didn't get criticised out of nothing. we have a very big team, all are either proven premier league players or have win cups at their previous club (esc hilario), successful proven coaches (clark, ten cate), state of the art training facilities, not a demanding owner that support him 100% (only towards him), no interferance from any of the club hierarchy, no civil war, we, Chelsea fans don't boo our own players. all the recipe for success is there for him to take (minus a footballing brain that is him). can you come out with any other sensible FACT, no excuses please. you can keep your faith in him, biru, while i can't stand an idiot lied to us and ruining the team. we are a team in the title contender bracket, i dont want us to be a team that are only able to fight for champions league spot or worst just simply YOU wanna give him times while other club didn't wait for us.
-
we are an easy target because we didn't have a strong personality to back us anymore. the officials seem to have a revenge towards us because what of jose had said to them or about them in public.
-
a good manager will came out with HIS own plan to cover up all those injuries. after how he slated mourinho, it is funny to see that when we were down and we need a goal, he tell alex to stay at the oppenent's territory, the plan that mourinho always deploy when we get into the same situation. can he come out with his own solution? or does he have any? before the game, he said that the players should able to play with different tactics, but does he have any different tactic? he said he is not copying alex ferguson or arsene wenger, unfortunately he is copying the man he despised the most, his predecessor. i didn't care if it a 1-horse title race as long as Chelsea keep winning!! 1-horse or two, we should always keep our hope of getting the titles (PL, CL, FA cup and Carling cup) in our own hand! don't be like england! first they have to rely on israel, then when it is up to them, they blew it! if we have to rely on others, we should not be called a 'big team'. 100% true. but mourinho didn't tell the world that he will play pretty and that results is all that matters. mourinho ain't pretty but he get the results! avram give promises to us that he will deploy entertaining attacking play. why give a promise if he couldn't keep it. true that it is only 3 months since he is in charge, but not a slight positive different happen to our team. mourinho is gone and i got over it, but avram is just shite. he talk the talk, but didn't walk the walk!!
-
rijkard suits roman. he not feisty, a yesman, but unfortunately he couldn't control his star players.
-
yup we deserve a goal in 1/4 of the second half but arse deserve 4 goals for the other 3/4. we should win this game and keep our hope in our own hands. not to depend on the team above us to drop points. i didn't say that mourinho is faultless, but what i was saying is avram didn't improve us as a team. after all the talk about attacking and entertaining football and how many steps we take, we are nothing near to what was said, except for the 6-0 thumpting of man city. the style of play are simply not convincing and the point different proved it. yup, avram been consistent, but not in a good way. when we should've win easyly, we had to work hard. even against derby county, we had to defend like we are playing in a cup final, while other strong team scored lots of goals.
-
sometime we have to loose something in order to get something better in the end. this really shows that avram really did nothing good to the team. the players seem to be given up before the game have really ended, while joe cole forgot his defensive duty and became his old self (a show pony) yesterday and ben haim played like a non-league defender. this will never be the case during mourinho's reign. last season when we are one man and one goal down at arsenal, we still managed to score the goal and get away with a point. avram have slate mourinho's style of play in many of his interviews, but he copied mourinho's tactical change. does he have any humility? yes, mourinho has gone but we deserved much better manager than avram. even billie davies is way better as a manager than avram but he didn't have a good team working for him.
-
i hate the fact that we lose but a little bit part of me is very grateful as it shows to the world that avram really, really dont deserved this job
-
the game against arsenal should be a reality check to mr roman. your friendly manager are shite. after all of his years wasting on learning how to manage and coach a football team, and to motivate a team, the tactical he imployed were shite and our players lost their confidence before the game ended. any of the avram loving team have a say on these (eskweston, dan, ollie). we seem to be taken 100 'steps' (grant's favorite word) behind when we were under avram, and we didn't seem to be progressing as a football team. that is why there is no other team, even the division two team wouldn't even thinking of hiring him, and the only team wants to hire him is portsmouth where the owner is his friends, and look how good portsmouth is this season as avram grant is no longer a burden to them. so avram, you can fuck right off now. go and search for a new rich, jewish club owner, sucked him up like you did to roman and gaydamak. and i prefer roman to be our manager than that avram 'roman's bitch' grant. at least he is very10x successfull in his business. come on roman go and get a uefa coaching licence. i hear it is easy to get at Israel!!
