  2. Delighted for the 3 points, although it didn't sound like the display we needed. Can't say I'm happy about the subs either, hope it was nothing more than time wasting.
  3. To be fair few could predict such a catastrophic run. Even with our limited squad it took some horrible man-management and underpefrorming from our players to get where we are. Our squad was small enough with the U21s, without them we were bound to get into trouble sooner rather than later. To get out of this mess we'll have to take full advantage of the coming transfer window (= no Ben Haim, Sidwell, Benayoun et al), tweak our tactics to suit our available personnel (e.g. never play Anelka as a central striker, put Kalou back on the bench), and start rotating our overplayed players (Malouda, Mikel, Drogba). From where I'm standing I don't trust our football board enough to do the first one and after the Marseille game I've lost faith in Ancelotti's willingness to completely change things around.
  4. Under normal circumstances I'd be the first one to say it BS but after all the boy has been through at this club and the rather "mysterious" cause that ruled him out of our last two games I'm genuinely concerned.
  5. @Everyone calling our current squad average. Check the squad topic we had back in September to see the original reactions. Did we have to drop 18 points to realize the bloody obvious? How many more will it take to see that playing the same losing team with the same tactics for over two months may have cost us the title?
  6. Confirms my theory about CA's relationship with Abramovich. That part about Wilkins is very interesting but I'd rather have some quotes before believing it.
  7. Doubt it, but even if they did it's completely unacceptable for a team with Drogba, JT, Ivanovic and Alex.Looks like we don't even practice taking corners during the training..
  8. If JT's goal against Marseille was really the last corner we converted and BBC's stats are to be trusted we haven't scored in 113 corners.
  9. Now you're being greedy. All I want is a single non-deflected goal from open play. Or one from a corner, I swear I've forgotten what it's like to score from corners, think Kakuta's assist to JT was actually our last.
  10. Most popular phrase since November.
  11. He's 21, is he even better than Rajkovic, Mancienne, Kalas or Bruma?
  12. Exactly.People who are want him to have total control need to keep this in mind.
  13. Good point. Once you lose the bench there's no coming back. Results are easier to change.
  14. That tight prick has spent ~40m for Zhirkov and Ramires over the last two years and was ready to pay 30m for Neymar a few months ago.
  15. I expected someone to tackle this..Should we have kept Grant or even Scolari in the name of stability?* *I realize it's an extreme example as everybody here (ok Henrique excluded ) rates Ancelotti much much more than those two.
  16. Will this case ever die?
  17. Well. I guess that's something.. As for the rest, lets just say he'd be a brilliant lawyer. I'd love to turn his last sentence against any Kakuta haters on here but I just don't believe anything he says.
  18. Torres, Van der Vaart et al. have shown that his whole adaptation thing doesn't always apply to new players.
  19. Sadly I agree. But when a 17-year-old kid is our only hope, our bench players aren't replaced and a CL place is the best we can do we're in danger of turning into fucking Arsenal.
  20. Anelka is doubtful for this one. What are the odds of Kalou starting?
