  3. My Match Review Chelsea 1 - 0 Juventus Chelsea slid past Juventus after a good first half performance. Didier Drogba put the ball in the back of the net in the thirteenth minute after a good pass from Solomon Kalou, Chelsea prevented Juventus to take the ball forward till a long time, but were only able to get one goal. Juventus did push forward in the closing minute of the first half but there chances went begging.
  4. Cant believe Juve have 52% Possession when we have 48%. Have`nt seen Lampard do much in the first half except leave the ball for Drogba to score and some long / offside passes.. Want to see him do more !
  5. Subs: Hilario, Ivanovic, Mancienne, Ferreira, Malouda, Di Santo, Stoch. Bring on Stoch and DiSanto (if possible) =D
  6. lol Del Pirlo Is Stoch on the bench?
  7. Juve did get in to attack us late in the first half though, dont want to concede a away goal and throw the performance away as only we can !

  12. Ranieri on Hiddink`s effect, Zola the man? The ex-Chelsea manager Claudio Ranieri, who is set to face Chelsea on Wednesday in what promises to be a thrilling Champions League Face Off, when Italian giants Juventus face off with Hiddink`s men think his side are ready to face Chelsea.Ranieri was quick to praise Hiddink for what he has brought to Chelsea and expected a tough encounter. Ranieri`s men recorded a 2-0 Serie A victory away to Palermo.David Trezeguet marked his full comeback with a goal set up by Amauri, silencing critics who said the two forwards could not form a partnership. Something Anelka and Drogba can relate to. When asked about Zola`s link to Chelsea, Ranieri said he had been impressed with Zola’s work coaching the Italy under-21 team and since taking over at West Ham United in September. ‘Gianfranco Zola is doing very well as a manager,’ Ranieri says. ‘Could he be a good choice for Chelsea? Why not? He has a great history with the club and the fans would be very happy.’ Ranieri admits that he doubted Zola’s suitability for top-flight management. ‘At the beginning I didn’t think Gianfranco would do so well,’ he says. ‘I don’t know exactly why I have been surprised by how well he has done, but I just didn’t think he could do this for a big team. Yes, I thought he may be a good coach for younger players, like the under-21s, because he sets a great example. But I’m very happy for him, surprised and very happy.’ Ranieri said he expects one of the most emotional games of his career on his return to Stamford Bridge. ‘It will be fantastic for me, my emotions and my memories,’ he says. ‘I hope the fans give me a good reception.’ Source = CFCBlog.net
  13. Yea, And it says its if Drogba goes, another doubt.
  14. Report: Vagner Love Could Replace Didier Drogba At Chelsea The CSKA Moscow forward will be targeted by the Blues should the Ivory Coast international leave Stamford Bridge this summer... Chelsea have identified Vagner Love as a replacement for Didier Drogba, who could be on his way out of the club at the end of the season, according to a report in The Times. It is thought that the Blues are considering selling the Ivory Coast forward, who has been linked with Italian giants Inter and former club Olympique de Marseille. The 30-year-old's contract runs until 2010 and, while it is claimed the player wants to extend his deal, it is said that the west London club have doubts over his long-term fitness; Drogba has previously undergone operations on both knees. Reportedly, Chelsea are willing to let Drogba leave for €27.3 million (£24m), the same amount as they signed him for in 2004. Should Inter, Marseille or any other club land the former African Footballer of the Year, Brazilian international striker Vagner Love is being tipped to replace him. The 24-year-old has been a goal-scoring sensation with both Palmeiras, where he scored 27 goals in 42 games, and current club CSKA Moscow, where he boasts 58 strikes in 105 appearances. While Guus Hiddink has insisted he will leave his post as Chelsea manager in the summer, it is thought that he has recommended the forward as a bargain should he become available for €17m (£15m).
