i agree, just too bad he was a controversial player, i like players who fight for team and are tough, but Costa was his own enemy with his antics on the pitch a lot of times, easy target for referees and FA, and his heart was never fully at Chelsea unfortunately. He was huge for us in our last 2 title wins, i give him a lot of credit and i miss him more than big nose.

what a let down it turned out to be, all of us expecting Liverpool hot form Torres, but instead we got a washed up one, eventough he made his contribution here, he never reached those Pool levels ever again, what a shame it was back then and a waste of 50 Million Pounds, we could have got Aguero for that amount, but things happen for a reason and without Torres we wouldnt have won the Champions League and Europa League. tell me about it, i admit i was so angry because we were seconds away from beating them at the Ethiad and Lamps just popped out in the 6 yard box like he had done countless times for us in the past, those timed runs in to the box like a predator striker and scored their equalizer, urghhh, it was our fault for not finishing off the game, sound familiar?
