  1. bet the 5k away support travelling to Stoke tonight give a rousing rendition of ""Stand Up" for him
  2. the eternal optimist in me says not but you could well be right
  3. I disagree....there has been a marked improvement on the pitch with effort, general team play etc. Even down to 10 men we looked better than West Ham and more likely to go on and win it at times. From the first couple games where we looked lathargic to now is like chalk and cheese
  4. Klopp may well like to do it but that current Liverpool team are not very good at it over 90 minutes
  5. zero signs of improvement??in Mourinho, that may well be the case, but since the Porto game there have been signs that are better than zero improvement with the team
  6. If I was responsible for the running of Chelsea, I would like Mourinho to take time out for a month to sort 'personal' issues out that are away from football and to give him a chance to refresh, take stock of the whole situation ( including looking at himself) . Let Steve Holland run the team coaching and face the cameras during this period, and then when Mourinho comes back...see how the land lies then. Too many 'fans' are trigger happy these days and its rather ironic its the same ones that call for a managers head, or say we should sign X and get rid of Y after dodgy performances etc etc that have criticized the alleged trigger happy board/ Roman in the past for getting rid of managers/players to early . Mourinho just looks as if he needs time away for a bit....but whether he himself would allow that is another story
  7. Can't see why you are having a keyboard frenzy over this.He was just stating he was and is a Chelsea supporter. You cannot deny him that or infact prove that he isnt. No big deal
  8. do you remenber where 'one of us' came from?
  9. why limit it to just those two.....Simeone, Conte and a few other names have been bandied around...but whatever names are chose, then Mourinho's should be alongside them as well
  10. don't shoot the messenger...was justing posting a newspaper article. However, I suppose you have taught at a high level then and your word is gospel. Like I don't really buy into media bullshoite...I dont buy into yours either but thanks for the sermon anyway
  11. from the article in the independant comparing several years into Fergusons reign when he also courted the FA several times and paid for their Christmas bash"Sir Alex Ferguson had a bleak three-year spell at Manchester United when he failed to win the Premier League, failed to get to the quarter-finals of the Champions League and had fans and the media calling for his head. He won just one FA Cup in that time. But Ferguson turned it around and went on to win another five Premier League titles and the Champions League, retiring as one of the greatest managers world football has ever seen. At the very least, Mourinho deserves until the end of the season to prove that he can turn it around at Stamford Bridge. "
  12. another view of things from the independanthttp://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/jose-mourinho-in-defence-of-the-chelsea-manager-who-should-not-be-sacked-no-matter-the-result-a6709261.html seeing a few articles appearing to support him rather than castigate him ( like a few on here ) at every opportunity. Wonder if the club has been in touch with a few of these media hacks threatening them with a banning order from SB etc etc
  13. ] playing devils advocate...but surely thats the sign of a 'weak and naive' board if a manager can dictate everything
  14. phew..!!!!! glad I am a supporter and not a fan then ;-)
  15. As you seem to know what is in his contract, will there also be clauses that could be classified as breaches of contract such as bringing the club into disrepute etc which could in turn mean a severence in pay less than full contracted amount?
  16. http://www.irishexaminer.com/sport/soccer/terrace-talk-chelsea--its-not-paranoia-if-they-are-out-to-get-you-361373.html Trizia (who for those that dont know ..the chair of Chelsea Supporters Group ) has written her piece....link above Makes some good points, but am sure those that don't know her and how much 'Chelsea' she is will slate her on this article, especially in last paragraph which I will copy and paste for those that dont want to read the whole article about Mourinho. "That goes for the fans too. The support at West Ham was superb, but if you are one of the bed-wetters crying all over social media, do us all a favour, stay at home. We only need those with the stomach for a fight. Come on Chelsea!"
  17. as it hasnt been discussed much in here recently, I am going to stick my neck out and say that quite a lot of posters would be happy with Josep Guardiola. ;-)As you quite rightly say Simeone has just signed an extension and would be expensive whereas Guardiola would come on a 'free' so to speak. Me.... think I will be different and go for Alan Pardew ;-) ( well he is a Chelsea fan after all )..you know...One of Us......now where have I heard that before?
  18. yeah...that Marina as well.Give them a touch of power and eventually all goes to ratshit....just ask Maggie ..if she was alive ;-)
  19. rumours abound from before the summer and then into the tours that all was not well once Mourinho found out a couple of things involving her and players. The incident at the Swansea match was just the icing on the cake
  20. ssshhhh...don't let hard facts spoil the illusion
  21. you are most probably right about the FA....I was just going on what I had heard from pundits on tv and radio and the odd newspaer article.....but hey ho, when it comes to the FA, they only know as much as you or I by the way things have been going
  22. didnt think he could get a stadium ban for this as it was different circumstances. However, I agree about breaches in contract and posted above about possibilty of a reduced severance package due to this
  23. Trouble is that if we do happen to beat Liverpool...then what." has to beat such and such to save his job" until the team loses? Its not a case of beating anybody....if the board want rid they will do it regardless
  24. makes you wonder if the board do decide to terminate his contract, whether they could give him a reduced severence due to breaches in contract by him The board love their interim managers and we have been reasonably successful under the loads we have had from Grant, Hiddink, RdM and Benitez. from FA cups to European glory
  25. key word in that article.....intermediarys.i.e. agents/ brokers who have sweet f.a. to do with either manager or club
