  1. Nobody mentioned "conspiracy", well, except you. I gave an opinion. Not expecting every cunt to wildly agree with me and don't particularly care if no fucker does, just an opinion.
  2. Well, for a start, a reason why they don't wish to renew his contract. If it's money then let it be known. If it's because those footballing experts Buck, Gourlay and Abramovich have decreed that he isn't good enough any more then, let us know. It can't make them look any more pathetic than they do already. Every ex player/manager and his dog are expressing surprise that the club are acting like this, and they are right to be. As I said, this isn't some fucking journeyman player. This is an iconic figure who has excelled in his 500+ games and deserves better. Something nagging away at me with regards to all of this, maybe going back to last season. Knowing Roman's fucked up thinking, I wouldn't be surprised he he binned AVB and appointed RDM, thinking that RDM would fail and the fans calling for AVB's head would be proved wrong. RDM only went and won the FA Cup and the Campions League, putting RA in a difficult positon, so he waited for the first available opportunity and binned RDM. There is every chance he hold's both Lamps and Ash at least partly responsible for the demise of AVB, given the fact that they were both regularly benched by AVB. Anyway, I veer off somewhat, but my opinion in any case.
  3. I am capable of the occasional worthy point, you know, now and again. And I thank you for your candid and forthright responses though. Just a thought, we do need to tread carefully. It's going to be very dull if we start agreeing with each others posts
  4. The way the owner and the board (Pass the) Buck, and Gormlessly have acted over this has been absolutely shameful. Some of our fans haven't been any better. This isn't a case of Darren Wood, Gareth Hall or Peter Nicholas running down their contract. This is Frank Lampard, over 500 appearences, over 190 goals, an almighty figurehead in the fabric of our history. Personally, I couldn't give two fucks about the wedge he is on. Roman caused the sharp increase in wages when he brought in Ballack and Shevchenko on big, big wages, without thinking that Lamps and JT may rightly expect the same. This man has been class for our club and deserves better from his employer, much, much better. The silence from the club is deafening. Spineless bunch of total cunts. Listening to the radio today, it seems that Man Ure will possibly be on the cards. Personally speaking, Wherever he goes, he goes with my blessing, be that Man Ure, The Arse, Rottenham, you name it. As long as he doesn't do a Cole and Sturridge and start banging on about their new club being the biggest in the world, blah, blah fucking blah. And no badge kissing either please. Lamps is a class act and he wouldn't go down that cheap route. The club's attitude in recent months has soured the Champions League win for me somewhat. They have been pathetic and brought us down to a laughing stock in the football world. I think Bayen will have Guardiola too, which will leave us with......................FSW, oh fucking dandy ho. Pep would have to be insane to come here. What manager in his right mind would?, which is why we end up with dregs like FSW.
  5. Difficult game today. Could see it going to a reply.
  6. Just heard the same from some reporter on talkSPORT, on the sports Bar. Two ways to look at this I think. If Lamps is demanding the same wedge he is on now then see you later. However, I don't think that is the case. There was a Chelsea punter on the radio yesterday, convinced that the Lamps and Cole contractual issue is down to Roman having the hump over the lack of support for AVB. Drogba, Cole, Lamps and JT all having the hump about AVB and going out of their way to make his life difficult. Sadly, the way the heirachy of the club is acting now, I can well believe it. If this is indeed the case, why didn't Roman act after West Brom or Napoli away last season and put the players in question up for transfer? I know it was after the transfer window but I think most punters (myself included) thought we were out of the Champions League after Napoli away, and that 4th spot was getting beyond us after the defeat at West Brom. He could have made one helluva statement but putting his foot down in this manner. What royally fucks me up though is the lack of comment from the club. If they don't intend to offer Lamps and Ash new deals, regardless of how much of a cut they are willing to take then at least come put and tell the fans. At least put us in the picture. We may not put in as much as Sky, etc but we still deserve better, much better. Shouldn't expect anything more from the glove puppets that are Buck and Gourlay. Silence is indeed golden. Like a pair of trapest monks with hands shoved up their arse. Very sorry state indeed. Lamps and Ash have been very well rewarded for their services to the club of course, but don't think they wouldn't go to another premiership club. Wise and Poyet ended up at the hated Leeds (via Millwall for Ernie), Carlo Cudicini ended up at Rottenham. Would not put it past Fergie to sign them up, and why shouldn't he?, Would be good business. The club is in bog order. Roman may be getting personal, which shouldn't come into business matters. I personally think Lamps and Ash have at least another couple of years in them. Especially Ash, Bertrand isn't anywhere near his standard and, unless Roman has plans to buy Baines then we may struggle there.
  7. He's much younger. Far less experience and I think his overall contribution has been better. He is still very raw but has been fantastic. Newcastle are seen as the bigger of the two teams yet West Brom are flying high. Due in no small part to Lukaku.
  8. Is he coming to be back up to Torres? If so, and Torres is staying, where does that leave Lukaku next season as I think he's been better than both Ba and Torres so far. He's young, big powerful lump, creates mayhem in the opposition penalty box and one that I really, really hope doesn't fall by the wayside because of these two. Ba is decent enough, but leading up to the window the talk was of Falcao. Ba is nowhere near the calibre of that. We certainly needed, badly needed another striker. Is there an option, a clause in these season long loans whereas the parent club can bring the player back in the window?
  9. Yep, listening to talkSPORT to, Lamps agent has stated that he will definitely be leaving in the summer. Cole to follow too it seems. Mark my words, JT won't be far behind. Incredible really, shocking bad judgement and management. All have been very, very well paid but you only need to look back to Munich, a few short months back, and the fantastic, resiliant performances buy Ash and Frank. I don't want to seem sensationalist but the club seems to be falling apart. Laughable manager, Lamps and Ash getting the spanish archer. The board are as feeble as they have ever been. Still, as long as their pockets are lined eh? Complete shambles. Possibly time up for Roman methinks. He can't be sitting there listening to El Fat Wankero getting pelters every game. Whatever results slim has "achieved", we lost to West Ham and QPR in the face of a few short weeks, which just isnt funny.
  10. What a choice that would be, FSW or the handbrake. Fuck, what a decision to make.
  11. I am tired of saying it but he really has to go, and soon, like now. Does not, nor never will fit at Chelsea. He isn't wanted. I never thought that Chelsea would appoint a manager I despised more than Avram Grant.
  12. TFSW massively underestimated QPR and we paid the price. That said, the players chosen should have had enough about them to win the game but the desire wasn't there. He hasn't done any better than RDM in my opinion and, given the fact that the club is completely destabilized now, It was a very poor decision. If Roman didn't want RDM then he should have done the business during the summer. Sure he would have got pelters but would it have been any worse than he is getting now? Benetiz was/is a mistake. The Lampard/Cole situation is a mistake and I think they have plans for JT as well sadly.
  13. Lethal three years ago, lost the plot towards the end at the Bin Dippers. Shocking to think we paid 50M for him. The fee isn't his fault of course, but the fact is he hasn't produced.
  14. Give Mackie his due, full of running, never stops trying. Never given a chance under Hughes really.
  15. fucking hell, Derry had the freedom of the box, fucking shocking really
  16. Torres have another one of those games. If we ain't careful, we are going to lose this,
  17. Not convinced by this at all. For me, a very average player really.
  18. Shame the way his career nose dived the way it did. Injuries never helped of course but, looking back, Liverpool wasn't the greatest idea. I wish him all the very best for the future.
