When he scored the penalty against MK his 50th for us it was the first time that I can think of that he kissed the club badge. I knowits not important for a player to love the team he plays for but its something I always like to see. If youre emotionally involved in something you always put more of yourself into it. But maybe its a Belgian thing? Ive never seen Tibo ever get too emotional about things neither.

Like Mou did? Just hope hes got something written into his contract concerning transfers. I remember when Mou came back there was reports supposedly summet in his saying he wasnt going to have control of transfers. Thats why i didnt really put the ones we got down to him.

Its going to be a tough pre season again. With supposedly Conte with Italy his minds not going to be on our case as much as we need. And then we got the USA (International Champions Cup) in July I'm worried about his training with the lads as well as transfers. And apart from him bringing Massimo Carrera with him which will create us some headlines im sure, thats my only concern about conte. Seeing as Simeone seemingly doesnt want to come join us hes as good a choice as anyone. (Anyone want to give me odds of him going to that North London club after that old bloke leaves?)

A real shame that maybe his last season for us and he leaves with a limp and not his normal full of fight. The injury was either bad or it just takes longer to get fit in yer mid 30s

I put alot of our problems at the feet of the players too. I understand its the managers job to motivate them but we are not talking about a bunch of schoolkids we are talking top of their profession millionairs! They know their jobs. They shouldnt need any other motivation than to do their soddin job for the company they work for. Mos job was to train them and select the best team he could. They were normally the same bloomin ones that won the premiership a couple of months earlier. I expected more from them and it dissapointed me (well it pissed me off) that Mou was made the scapegoat.

Aye. Tho hes made some team selections that make me shudder hes got one of those characters that make you at least feel its all gonna be ok. Hes not like Mou who puts you on the edge of your chair and want to chin someone.But I'm not sure Id like him as a perm manager cause I think it needs someone more dynamic with a strong character. I know we are limited and hes done ok there but Kennedy isnt a LB so why not play him in his proper position and lets see how he goes. Babas just going to stagnate and get feeling worse and worse. Been looking forward to seeing Traore/Costa I hope Pato gets some time.

Oscar has had moments of genius too. Theyre just few and far between. But when hes ON I do love his energy and commitment. Its just not enough to keep him around IMHO

No doubting we have some very good youths but its such a big risk in sticking them in the 1st team. They need breaking in gradually like we were doing with Happy. Our kids have run riot over their leagues but theyre playing teams that dont share the same training/management/facilities as our do so they have an advantage straight away. Over tha past X years its been similar. Our kids have dominated. So presumeably each year we have had very good individuals in each team. Im a big believer in that players GENERALLY find their level of standrd/skill and play to it. And its normally just lucj they get time in the PL.. So IF one of the lads was really good he might not get picked for our 1st team but by rights he would attract scouts from every big club throughout the world so he should be playing for one IF he really was that good yeah? I cant think of many that are doing it can you? Its OK bringing the odd one up gradually but Id much rather buy a player thats proven himself to perform at a high level. We are bringing RLC up now but to me Im sorry but hes not met the hype hes been given. Hes been given chances that hes just not made the most of.we would have been far better off with him loaned out getting weeky experience IMHO. I dont know what the answer is. In a perfect world we would use the accademy as our feeders or have a B team which would be great. But the worlds far from perfect eh/
