His defense problem wouldn't be as big if Luiz wasn't having his own issues. But I do think that once we get the team pressing and defending tighter those issues wont be as big as they are now. Nice one! TBH I'm a bit taken back at how well we have adjusted to Sarri. I know in Conte year 1 we adapted well to him but we already had the defense part down, iy just needed tweaking. Tho the lads did great in how well it went. But its such a massive change FOR US to change our complete way of playing. I was expecting us to give it a try half heartedly but taking awhile to get the basics and expected a mid table finish. But its shown that we have the makings of a world beating team with some time and a couple of tweaks. I'm excited and I just hope that the powers that be are watching and realize whats occurring.

BUT its where would HE go? The PL clubs youre talking about dont have a big enough profile OR could probably afford him. Tho I suppose it would large up their profiles. But theres still some clubs around Europe that might take him on but not with his playing styles.

I would love to have a camera follow the team around for a full normal training day. Be great to see how he works them both on the pitch and in the video room. And see if hes got his drone in the air.

But for a defender to lose his basic requirements of where he is and his mark isn't really a good thing. That 1 goal can lose a game. I love 90% of him but that 10% is a big problem.

I admit it took me a bit to warm to him but he got stronger as the season went on and by the end he had become our strongest most reliable CB the spot was his. If we could mix him with Luiz we would have a perfect defender. Very good in the dressing room too. So stern looking and serious on the pitch but a real character.

The way I see i (with my 1 remaining rational braincell ) is one reason that ZZ would leave the biggest club in the world would be if CR7 had told him he was leaving and there was disharmony among the players and board His contract was coming up for renewal and he asked Perez what his transfer plans were. Its amazing really I think. We was expecting the lad to sit at the back with the 2 CBs as a DPM spraying the balls about up the pitch. When in reality as this full touch map shows the majority of his passes are between the center line and the oppositions box!
