  1. I jinxed him. He made two stupid mistakes in the added time, but besides that,I think he was active enough and more creative than usual.
  2. Barkley is having a decent game.Props to him for bouncing back after his horrendous performance the other day.
  3. That is what I am talking about! I am also not angry. You lay the foundations of the change and then eventually see the fruits of it. But we want it all at the same time.
  4. Zidane is nowhere near the level of Guardiola, Heynckes,Allegri, Simeone and Klopp. He is eventually gonna have his luck run out and we will see his true abilities. This short-termism is the reason we weren't able to attract Guardiola. Conte won us the title and a year later he was gone, Sarri is on the verge of being sacked 7 months into the job and we want to compete with the best!? Our recent CL record speaks for itself. Tottenham, City and Liverpool are all benefitting from the patience they showed and the long-term plan they had. We only care about the instant success and that's it.But the year is 2019 and thais formula doesn't work anymore. Even Zidane will need at least 3 years to build something but he won' t have it. And most of our fans are spoiled as fuck and don't see the bigger picture.
  5. These crybabies should definitely be sold if they request so. Kante is too nice to be part of this group(i suspect his agent might be pushing for a change) , Kepa, Kova, Higuain and Jorginho are all Sarri's signings, Hazard is leaving soon so it should be none of his business and Azpi was always loyal to our managers. I am dead sure Willian is the mastermind behind this. He "loves" Chelsea, he sees himself as one of the biggest stars in the dressing room and is pushing the club for a new deal.Sarri's staying practically means Willian is gone in the summer and we all know how the Brazilian twat will deal with this kind of stuff.
  6. And yet we are comparing our team to the likes of City and Liverpool...The players themselves admit that they are not capable of following the many instructions Sarri gives them so i can't see any of them playing for someone like Guardiola who is very similar to Sarri in this regard. They are not WC and the lack of football intelligence is one of the key factors that are stopping them from becoming such. I am sure Willian is one of those who are complaining - he is the best example of the things i said above. He has all the qualities but his football IQ is below average.Compare him to his fellow Brazillian - Firminho, and you can see why the latter, despite being the less technical and the less naturally gifted player, is thriving under Klopp. Hazard maybe falls in this category too. He is a phenomenal player who just wants to play "his football". He was perfect for the counter-attacking football when the whole attack was centered around him and the ball was at his feet all the time but Sarri requires a lot of off-the-ball movement and a lot of runs in behind the opponent's deffence and Eden is clearly struggling. Alonso is just mediocre and his record prior to Chelsea speaks for itself - he has 6500 minutes of top flight football and 2257 minutes in Championship. And he was fucking 26 at the time of his arrival! At the same age Azpi, Hazard and Moses had 19500, 21380 and 7500 minutes, respectively. IMO the lack of a suitable striker and the "false 9" experiment ruined the flow of our season and fucked-up the confidence we were having. Sarri has his fair share of blame but the striker thing was solely on the board. He is stubborn and I don't like it at all but can you name a manager who is not? He hasn't won anything but he was never in charge of a team capable of winning anything besides Napoli where the priority was the league. And he twice came close to winning it in his three years there but Juventus were too good and had the financial advantage over Napoli. He helped Higuain breaking the Seria A goalscoring record. We beat Arsenal, City, Liverpool and Tottenham which showed that he can compete with the best. Not consistenly, but it's a start. Last season we were a joke against City - yes, in both games we conceded only one goal, but the "football" we played was never gonna give us a chance to compete with City and Liverpool. Mourinho's recent fiasko at United is the clear example that we live in the era of proactive football ans this is the direction we should follow. BTW,Jose had a similar first season at United but he was backed by their board.
  7. Carlo’s Napoli is 11 points behind Juventus and out of the Italian cup.Don’t see how his rotating policy is profitable. Not to mention his mediocre record of winning only 4 titles throughout his career, two of which were in a one-team league. And bare in mind the great teams he has managed - our golden generation was at its peak under him. Some people tend to forget easily but Bayern were no fools to ditch him.
  8. No need to ruin his legendary status. He better stay away from Chelsea for as long as possible.
  9. Remember when Barkley 's price was 100m? English media at its best
  10. 6 players in and around the box and Alonso decided it was his time to shine.
  11. We are being a real douchebags with the way we threat this kid.
  12. This must be a joke...Why was CHO denied the move to Bayern if we are going to keep him on the bench?
  13. As bad as we are lately, luck clearly is not on our side. We have hit the woodwork 17 times this season - the most by any team in the PL.Arsenal are 12th with 6 woodworks hits, MU - 18th with 4.
  14. Spot on. We went from having Ashley Cole(the best LB in the world at the time), Lampard(one of the top 5 MF of his generation), Drogba(the one you can always count on in the big games), Terry and many more world class players, to this bunch of mediocre players with zero character and mentality. Azpi, as i have said before, is a fucking warrior but he is trully average compared to the best RBs. Luiz is hot and cold - couple of weeks ago he looked like the beast we saw 7 years ago vs United at the Bridge. Today he and Rudi were beyond horrible. Pedro and Willian have always been average with the occasional moments of magic. The rest are no different.
  15. Benitez finally brought the title to Liverpool
  16. Watching him,I can only imagine what would have been if we had had him last year.He will thrive under someone like Conte.
  17. Good.If Hazard leaves in the summer, there is a good chance CHO will stay and be the first choice for the LW position next season. If Eden stays, then we will probably lose him but it won't be that painful. P. S. I was mad at the kiddo yesterday and insulted him so i appologize. But the club should be respected and CHO is no exception.
  18. Willian and Alonso on the same flank is a match made in heaven...
  19. This guy speeds up our game visibly.
  20. Yeesssssssss!!!!! This game reminded me of those magic nights we used to have at the Bridge some years ago.
