This Di Maria to United is so overused and misleading.
-We're not United.
-I don't believe United was Di Maria's first choice.
-Real really wanted to get rid of Di Maria (as far as I remember)
-United happened to be the only ones willing to pay that sum at the time.
Selling Willian, or any player not named Mikel-Ivanovic is suicide. The squad is already thin with depth and quality.

Love the man to bits  doesn't matter where he plays.

He is our player of the season and was arguably the best player in the team after hazard in the 2nd half of last season. Not his only 'saving grace' at all.
A player horrendously out of form? Oscar isn't out of form, he is just shit. That's just how he is. Wasn't this season supposed to be 'his' season? Pre-season and all that?

Had to pinch myself twice to believe the sort of things written about Willian here...
Nothing short of reliable dude, gave it all for the team when everyone around him was collapsing. 
That alone grants him an awful amount of respect for me.

Board could have told him long time ago, at a club as huge as Chelsea is these kind of things are normally handled differently, imo.
Roman wants Terry gone, simple as, maybe fed up with his former antics, who fucking knows.

The club just threw a random poor offer to terry to say we done our part... now let terry decides his future...

Since when do the club announce that they have merely offered someone a new contract? Since when is it club policy to make contract negotiations public?! 
They have undoubtedly offered him immensely reduced wages (maybe wages they know he is extremely unlikely to accept?) and announced the offer(!) to put him in the corner.
If he rejects, then he's destroying his legendary status of being a one-club man, if he comes out and says that the wages are too low then he comes off as a greedy bastard, and if he accepts then he'd be making a fraction of the what he would be elsewhere.
It's a PR low-blow from the club and an impossible choice for Terry. I wouldn't want to be in JT's shoes at all..

This could be an interesting power play right... Chelsea announce on twitter they offered Terry a 1 year contract, likely at a greatly diminished wage. Terry all along likely hasnt wanted to sign at such a low price, but now that it is public how can he not accept?
They're getting him back for his public condemning of the club over not offering him anything. I strongly suspect the deal is a tough one for him (low wages/no playing time) which he might want to reject, therefore deflecting blame for him leaving off the club and onto him.  Anyone else think this is a possible scenario?
Then again this could be bollocks and i hope he does stay, if only to oversee the transition to Conte, and bringing the youth in.
 

I agree, he doesn't deserve to be playing near the goat that is Oscar. 
Willian is 5 times the player Oscar will ever be. The latter would struggle to start in a Stoke City side while the former would have no trouble getting into the squad of pretty much any team in the world. 
Your dislike for Willian has no other cause but the fact that he continuously proves to be better than your favorite, Oscar.

Yeah mate, he also doesn't like being called out on it, as evident by his response to Stats and his non-response to me back in January/Feb where I quoted him and all about Oscar.  
I mean, it happens, we've all been wrong on players before.
But my days, I've never seen a failure of such epic proportions like what was proclaimed by him towards the 'wonder-kid' Oscar. Oscar's put together the worst season in his entire career AFTER getting the all infamous summer vacation. It's incredible when you think about it really. 

Can't blame you. I would be mad too, if I told the world Oscar just needed one complete summer break to become the greatest player Chelsea has ever seen. It happens man. Better luck next time.

Not calling him world class but he is a player a lot of teams would love to have. The fact that he has been our best player and not once you have admitted this season you were wrong about him says it all. You just have a dislike for him and he will never win you around. Haters will hate.
Hopefully Oscar some day becomes our player of the season and not only perform when his team mates do.

Has flaws but for me he is a definite on the team because we are not going to bring in much world class players who are better than him.

The problem is why did he have 30 odd games at a piss poor level. He has been brilliant since Bournemouth but that doesnt make up for the shite season he has had.
