So you are believing Express? Really? No wonder you get so much stick. You need to go see a psychiatrist. Too much negativity.

Could be, but I honestly don't think these bids are a hoax, until someone from Milan comes out to say they haven't received any bids yet. I think Koulibaly saga is done and we won't get him in this window, unless of course, by some miracle we manage to sign him this week. Whatever the case may be, I am dreading the fact that we have Cahill, Terry and Ivanovic as our preferred defenders still and in case we don't sign someone in this window, Hazard and Costa and co will have a lot of pressure to score, because I genuinely don't see us doing any good at the back.
-
Too many good sources to be calling it a Hoax honestly. Telegraph nailed it for me that we are interested.
-
No point in buying someone young. We definitely need to have someone at the back. This is the same backline we had last season and we struggled, especially at home when teams play on the counter and our backline has absolutely no pace left. I just hope we don't pull off another Papy.

Then again, how many are in the market? Umtiti was already snapped up by Barcelona and Bailly by Mourinho. Tah and Sule aren't in the market right now. I am not sure at all about Marquinhos cause he doesn't seem to have the physicality of the Premier League. Gimenez, honestly, I have not seen him play so much, but he was praised for his performances last season and if he is in the market, he is definitely one to look at, although I don't see Simeone selling any of his talented young players so easily. Romagnoli on the other hand has a lot of potential, he is being touted as the next big thing in Italy and we know how Italians defend and what expectations they have from their defenders. Also, he is only 21. I won't avoid signing him just because his team didn't perform well in Serie A.

Do you have a player in mind?
-
So many people here think that the Real World is Fifa where you just see the ratings of a player and bid for him. Grow up FFS. It is not that easy to acquire players that fit your squad.
-
Have you ever seen Stones play and then seen Koulibaly play? If you did, you wouldn't be making this post. Also, I wouldn't be calling a 25 year old a 'kid'
-
Him and Levy would make a lovely couple
-
Everton in for Williams and Lamina Kone, both CBs at Swansea and Sunderland respectively. Clears our path now, we are the only ones, wrap it up!
-
We have been getting in the CL every season ourselves, even finishing above Arsenal, winning CL and winning more trophies. What the fuck are you on about?
-
That's what I am thinking too, maybe we don't want to sell Costa after all.
-
Atletico president keeps talking about him.
-
I really like Lukaku too, he has been scoring goals in the PL and it could only get better
-
He well could, but if they offer him high wages and a starting spot then I don't see a reason why he wouldn't want to move. Usually they do.
-
Thing is if they get 50 million pounds for Stones, they wouldn't mind spending 40 on a guy that's physically stronger and has more experience of leading the line, and still pocket change of 10 million. He wouldn't choose Everton over us, but Napoli can choose their bid over us if their bid is higher. They can reject ours and accept Everton's.
-
Honour doesn't mean anything in terms of business though. If they asked that much money and another club (Everton) came in and it looked like there could be a bidding war, they would definitely hold out for more.
-
They do what's right for their clubs, they get targets where they think they need to improve and every other club does just that. Spending that much money on Mahrez just so Arsenal can't buy him and then looking to sell Pedro (who actually had a decent amount of goals in a very poor season). That's stupid.
-
This is not Fifa son. Deals don't happen that swiftly in the real world.
-
So two external clubs might be doing a transfer and our Sporting Director gets the blame for that. Makes a lot of sense.
-
We don't need wide players right now, yes I'd prefer Mahrez staying at Leicester, but even if he does leave, I wouldn't be too sad cause we really don't need him right now. How much of an upgrade will he be to us? Marginal, when the same money could be invested in other areas to drastically upgrade those areas (CB, wing back)
-
What the actual fuck did I read? Who even lets 3 year old kids like these to register for the forums I do not know.
-
If anything, it only says abut how Deschamps fucked up his selections.
-
Assuming a CB, which one other area do you want to see being strengthened?
-
And for anyone judging Kante's passing accuracy as a weakness, it's worth pointing out that Leicester played on counter attacks with only Vardy up top sometimes, being fed long balls and long through balls, which have a higher chances of getting intercepted by the opposition's defence.
