  1. Honestly, Nainggolan is overrated. He does offer more going forward, but he doesn't offer the flair and simplicity that Kante does. They are different players, but it's Kante we needed more right now
  2. Very much this. Kante is more than a CDM and more than just a CM. THe guy is a proper B2B. And I have seen people around saying his passing isn't good, well if you have seen even 10 Leicester games all season, you'd know he is actually really good at it. When needed, he passes sideways for a player in a better position than him to dictate the play, and when needed, he made excellent through balls for Vardy, Ulloa and Okazaki too. I have to say, I wasn't this excited in the last 2 years for a signing (Costa and Fabregas were the only two). And the way he plays, he'll be really appreciated by the Chelsea faithfuls.
  3. Funny how people think Conte will bin Fabregas. This is the same Conte that got Pirlo into the Juventus side and played him to his strengths and very much hid his weaknesses (which were a lot for a Juventus player in a 3 man midfield). It's needless to say that Fabregas in form is one of the best players in squad. He is one of the best passers of the ball in the football world and against clubs that sit back, he's the key to the lock.
  4. If you think Fifa and real world are similar, you need to grow up.
  5. What nonsense are you talking? We don't know what's happening. If Leicester are willing or not. These are only speculations and random numbers are being thrown by the media.
  6. Okay, Calma.. Calma.. BLOODY HELL I CANT KEEP CALM! WRAP IT UP!
  7. The Santos kid Gabriel maybe? Don't remember any other striker that was linked to us recently.
  8. The presence of Bale and Ronaldo have little or no impact on Morata. He could be used as a backup to Benzema.
  9. Yeah, and where are those players?
  10. This Do you even know that we could spend 100 million pounds last summer but we didn't spend even a chunk of it? Also, I am sure the club knows FFP more than you and me and they will control it, as they have been doing since it's formation.
  11. Who told you that we wont go for Kante if Morata comes? And also, Bonucci is a dream move that will not happen in any case.
  12. Also, just in case you didn't know. Here are his appearances for his last 5 games at Juventus AC Milan 1-2 Juventus 67' - 1 assist Juventus 4-0 Palermo 22' - 2 assists Fiorentina 1-2 Juventus 20' - 1 goal Juventus 2 -0 Carpi 45' - Blank AC Milan 0-1 Juventus Came on as a substitute and scored in Extra time with his first touch. 2 goals and 3 assists in less 180 minutes. That's more than what you can wish for.
  13. You don't know half the things going on in the world. Pelle is going to China. The deal is sealed. Costa Batshuayi are good, but given Costa's injury proneness, we need someone better than Traore to come in cause Costa is out for at least 3 months through injuries every season. Traore is not Morata. He wasn't a bench warmer at Juventus cause he is bad, he was there cause Dybala is just that good. Morata works really hard and is a very good player, just needs to polish his finishing more but that'll come with experience.
  14. LOL WHAT!? The knowledge of some folks outside EPL is really not that high, but what's annoying is they'd make a statement about a particular player like they have scouted him for 5 games straight.
  15. I don't usually say this, but fans like you are a fucking disgrace to the club. Chelsea FC deserves better fans than you.
  16. No he is not right now. Needs a proper platform, manager and team to get there.
  17. Me too, there aren't really any young strikers that have announced themselves on the International front in the market. Batshuayi was one of them and we got him. Morata would be a good signing really based on that. 75 million Euros is a bit too much though..
  18. And in all honesty, 75 million is a bit too much!
  19. Don't trust Sun, Mirror, Daily Mail/Express. They just make stories to get us talking. I'm sure Morata would want to play for Conte more than Wenger.
  20. Why does it feel like you're talking of your FIFA gaming experience more than anything else? Baba has been shit, although he can only improve, I don't think he's ready to be a fighter for Conte yet. Joao Mario, wasn't very impressed with him in the Euros.
  21. 35% of the 100 million pounds is only the hype around him. But even then, real sign of intent from United if they pull this off. I just hope the board trusts Conte with the business
  22. Emenalo can't change Nainggolan's mind. Yeah Emenalo is terrible, but you can't just blame him for practically everything.
  23. I wonder how many people here criticising Morata have actually seen him play, all I see are stats that say he has scored only this many goals in two years. Yes, the price is really high, but we aren't living in 2009 anymore. Players like Sterling are going for 50 million, of course there has been Inflation in the market. There aren't many good young strikers and Morata could be a big one. He went 3 months without a goal but had personal problems. In his words.. “I'd parted ways with my girlfriend, my family had a few problems and I had an injury that most people didn't know about, a groin inflammation. “Anyone who experienced it knows that it's among the most bothersome things you can have. It's incredibly painful and it keeps you from shooting and crossing. “There have been games when I had to inject an anti-inflammatory directly into my pelvis in order to play. “Gigi [Buffon] told me that when we're unhappy, the best thing to do is to shut yourself in at home and cry. But you should never show your weakness because people will attempt to destabilise you. That's definitely difficult for a young lad but I am sure he would have only learned a few things to become mentally stronger.
  24. Are we expecting a 3-5-2 or a 4-4-2 transitioning into a 4-2-4? I thought we'd be going for a 4-2-4, but with Koulibaly's signing (if it happens of course), I am thinking of his more suitable to play in a 3 man defence. A lot of changes needed indeed to pull off that 3-5-2.
  25. Loved the pace he showed on the left for his goal, that too in the dying moments of the match.
