Agree. We've seen him get frustrated numerous times cause his teammates just stand around. He needs a manager who can unlock all his attacking potential. Until then he won't be the best in the world not named Messi and Ronaldo.

Just accept when a favourite player of yours has a bad game. Those stats are meaningless, he is a striker. We want to see him putting balls in the back of the net. Sometimes, less excuses, more acceptance. Costa had service tonight but just was not at it. Simple as that.

He needs to leave, simple as that. He doesn't have the mentality of a top player and don't deserve to be playing for us, he doesn't love the club, he only loves to care about himself and when things don't go his ways he throw his toy out of the pram like this season. Like I said ability wise he is just as good as Bale, Neymar, Reus...etc but due to his severly weak mentality he is probably not as good as Willian as a team player overall let alone the other big names.
Sell him to Madrid where he can play his dream club and a single bad game means boo instead of having us loyal fans cheering him on for months despite his shit form.

Sell him to PSG or something for like 25m and sign Isco for the same amount or even 40m will still be an upgrade on this guy. At Arsenal he used to make runs and score long range goals as well, now while his passing level is probably top 5 in the world, maybe even the best in long pass catalogue even but his overall is severly limited to the point that to get the best out of him you basically needs to sacrifice a whole other position for it(Matic did it well for most of last season but he cannot carry on forever and it is showing now), the same reason why Barca sold him because their team is too good to canter to one player that is not Messi.
He will go down in history as one of the great Spanish football player purely because of the amount of games he has played from an young age up to now for top clubs and country, but he will NEVER EVER EVER REACH Iniesta/Xavi level which so many expected him to after 2010. He is now nothing more than a luxury player if I am honest.

Came to Chelsea hoped to be developed into the next Varane, probably will develop into the next Mikel with Jose as manager, soon to be a 'defender' in name but good at nothing in particular. He probably won't be suspended, but he could be, only 2 league games after his previous suspension, never gonna learn ffs.
