Impressed me a lot yesterday. Probably the only player from them who actually looked bothered and he looked really strong and solid. I wouldn't mind him. Spanish, next to Azpi with lots of fellow Spanish peeps. Why not.

Football as we know it as a contact sport is dead, well and truly fucking over. Anyway, it looks that it is finally goodbye to Rugby boys Wigan. Yeah they have a game in hand, whoopdy fucking doo it's away at Arsenal. Just like Middlesbrough in 1997, it looks like a team will get to the FA Cup final and get relegated. There's no doubt these lads have a lot of quality and are better than Norwich, some of the football was outstanding but they just seem a little big headed and over confident. I don't like Loftus-Cheek much, he didn't do anything good today at all nor in other games i've seen. His passing was wasteful, his dribbles got nowhere and that chance he mis-controlled at the end just summed his evenings work up. We need to stop pissing about and be more professional and maybe show a bit more respect. That last minute goal was a kick up the arse and a good thing for the 2nd leg. We'll turn it around i'm sure quite comfortably if we play properly.

We wont get any but i'd love to see Modric with Hazard and Mata. And maybe Fabio Coentrao as Ash won't last forever. I'm going on possibilities. Verane, Khedira and Ozil i just cannot see happening. Benzema is awful now, Alonso is another ex scouse, no thanks. Modric is premiership proven and Coentrao is 2nd choice largely behind Marcelo.

I'm confident because they have to score two. I reckon we'll probably score a couple too tbh but i'm still nervous because it's a euro semi final and they're big occasions. We've messed up so many tournament later stages this season, we must win this one.

Just as i said he'd win both. It is crap though that he can win both, they have to do something to stop that because it looks bad for everyone else. It's too obvious that if you're player of the year and young enough, you're bound to win the young one too, it's rubbish. Should be for U21's the young one.

So basically Barcelona drew 2-2. And for my next bet i will simply do Man Utd to beat Chelsea, Arsenal to beat QPR and Tottenham to beat Southampton. And btw in the end i DIDN'T put a tenner on Arsenal to win today so saved that.

To be fair, he did love our club to bits and put in some very impressive shifts against Barcelona, especially in that backs-to-the-wall performance in the nou camp last season. Although he was completely useless for the majority and not very brave, he was ok in his first season before his lengthy lay off. I love reading the first pages of these threads.

I don't think you should be able to be nominated for young player as well as the player of the season. Hazard, Bale are in both categories i think. I'd give young player to Benteke and the main award to Van Pussy but i reckon Bale could get both. I'd say young player for Bale and main award for RVP.

Also our goal difference over Yids is 16 better so it's basically a 4 point lead over Them.

We could do with Villa winning tomorrow to ease them a bit more above Wigan. Anyway, why should we be scared? We're Chelsea after all, those teams really do not wanna face us in the run in. We aint QPR with that run in to stay up for example. We're better than Tottenham, Everton and Villa. We should just get on with it and do the fucking job. The finishing post is in sight and we're in a pretty good position. I'm assuming Rafa only made one change because Mata, Hazard, Luiz and maybe 1 or 2 more wont play on Thursday. If we beat Tottenham, i think we'll get top 4, we could probably afford to lose at Old Trafford provided we win the other 3 games. Yid's n Arse's games aren't exactly that straight forward.

Hazard was exceptional again but i give Lampard the MOTM as it was him who supplied the tempo and the goals, therefore he was the main reason we won the game. I love Hazard though, what a stunning player, player of the year 2014? Huge chance.

Damn, i was hoping for us to come 3rd and Arsenal go into the UEL with Tottenham!! How awesome would that be. Still, it is good in a way that those arent the rules yet but if City and Arsenal keep letting the side down (which i still hope they do) it will happen. Serie A is awful though now, we'll never go below them again. If anything the gap will get bigger.

We play some great football at times but i wish we'd kill these games off. Even in the 90th minute i was nervous after what happened against Reading. We really do have to see games off easier, we're lucky Swansea are on holiday. They didn't really threaten but we missed so many chances i was getting really frustrated. Massive win nonetheless.

Perfect half, Swansea are clearly on holiday but i do fear a 2nd half fightback as Laudrup will go mental at H/T they've been absolutely awful. Very strong advantage, Lampard's introduction has changed the tempo. 2 more Franky boy, GET IN!
