Was as incredible game. At half time i had given up a bit because our football was slow and we weren't creating anything. Along with being 1-0 down and down to 10 men i didn't see any hope. The first 10 minutes of the 2nd half made me give up completely though because we just weren't in it against 11 men, we just couldn't get anything going at all and if anything they were gonna score more and maybe win comfortably. Benteke cost Villa big time. When he was sent off we seemed to get a burst of adrenaline and took over, i feel we would've lost if he had stayed on so i guess we can thank him for Lampards record. It was a great fightback anyway. Hazard got more involved and suddenly we were looking dangerous. What a finale, absolutely stunning. Both goals were very different but typical Lampard and shows just how many qualities he possesses. I was so happy at full time, probably more happy than i was after the Man Utd game because we just looked so out of it. Then for Lampard to break the record and qualify us into next seasons UCL in those circumstances was just a thing of absolute beauty. I don't know why but even with only 3 games left there was the sense that he would break the record even if it seemed very unlikely with the amount of games left and his future in doubt. I was buzzing for the rest of the day, so hyped, even now. Also Villa Park is a huge bogey ground for us, not just against Villa but i still remember an FA Cup Semi there in 1996 and this seasons Community Shield defeat. Yesterday was a massive win in such adversity. Awesome pride at full time.

Pointless. Obviously not up for it so it's all on the line against Everton now. This game is over already. No creativity, 10 men, 1 down, playing like they don't wanna be there so might as well write this off. Ramires was fucking useless anyway as has Moses been. We saw the best of Chelsea at home against them, we're now seeing the worst. That being said, nothing has really bounced our way. Roll on Weds.

I don't remember the last Chelsea match i got ready to watch without being nervous as hell. Every match has had so much riding on it. These last 3 will be the same too.

I've got a soft spot for Villa i must say, the way they came back from the 8-0 by us, then 4-0 by yids, 3-0 Wigan and the League Cup semi with Bradford with such a young inexperienced squad is so impressive. I don't say this about other teams but if we lose, i'll be extremely unhappy of course but i'll be genuinely pleased for Villa. They have a great future with those players and i hope they stay up and move forward next season. Want us to win sooooo much though. I'm sure Villa will survive regardless of what happens today.

We always start the season well and finish the season well. This will be a very open game i feel, there could be a lot of goals. Villa's defence is a bit dodgy so i just hope ours stays strong.

Can't wait to get the shirt on Tuesday, glad it's been brought forward.
-
That's the exact team i wanted to see. Lets do this.
-
Last prem defeat? Last red card? Only home opponent not scored against all season? Let's see after these last 2 games, you can improve that picture.
-
Wow, that was a quick appointment, straight away the Jose rumours have been splattered! For a while is was Manchester red and London red dominating the top 2 places. I'm not underestimating Moyes but it's an opportunity for the blues to seize power and rule the premiership. Kinda hoping Moyes does ok though just so we don't keep hearing "If Fergie was here" blah, blah, blah. Man Utd isn't as attractive now though as it once was. Even Rooney wants out, Ronaldo wont go back and most of their players are nearing the end. Ferdinand, Vidic, Giggs, Scholes, RVP, Evra. Hopefully under a new manager we will see these players for what they truly are.

We do need to though, the problem is that our reserve players are nowhere near the same level as the starting guys. We can't afford to lose another final therefore cannot afford to be going into it below 100%. Beat Benfica and Everton and the Villa game doesn't matter and i also believe any team we put out is as good as theirs, even with Benayoun, Moses and Marin (Has he disappeared again?), Ba, Terry, Lampard. It can beat Villa (i said that about Southampton too...)
-
I'm confident we'll put on a show in this game. Villa are pretty much safe, Wigan won't win at the emirates so it should be a pretty entertaining open game. We've dealt with Liverpool, Tottenham and Man Utd recently pretty well, Villa aren't at the same level as those even if we know football doesn't work like that but i'm sure our boys will be confident and hungry to finish the job off. Lampard, Terry and Ba to start 100%
-
Very happy when the full time whistle went. They were fitter than us towards the end and if it had gone on another 10 mins we would've lost it most probably. I was shitting it when Bale had the FK. 23 years, the record goes on. We're in a great position now, just 1 win needed and that's assuming yids win both games. It also makes Arse twitch a bit. I woulda taken a draw if i'm honest. 4 points from Man Utd and Tottenham in the circumstances is excellent. It is a shame we didn't kill it with Hazard and Ramires but we're in a very strong position. Now play Lampard, Terry and Ba in the last 2 league games. We need to take a chance and rest most in the Villa game. We need to be at 100% for next Wednesday. We have slight room for error now.

Can just say last Premiership defeat atm. I actually hope they stay unbeaten now til the end of the season. How amazing would that look. Fergies last red card = Against Chelsea too lol. Fergie may have been an amazing manager but our record against him is quite phenomenal. Now is our time to dominate. I feel sorry for their next manager. Man Utd's time to fall!
-
Now we're gonna get hundreds of tv programs about him and we're not gonna hear of anything else in the next few months than Fergie this, Fergie that etc etc.
-
They actually started 8 minutes ago.
-
FINALLY! He took over Man Utd the year i was born ffs gtfo! But on a serious note what a career and what a legend of football. Even though a proper cunt sometimes you can't knock what he's achieved in the game.
-
We ended Guardiola and now Fergie lol
-
My Dad's had a hip replacement and he's in his 50's, it was painful for him and he was suffering for a bit after the operation. It's one painful operation. A 70 year old Ferguson would really struggle to come back from this. I've got a bad feeling about this (Jose). I don't think Man Utd would pay £20m for Mourinho if we wont though... Hope not anyway. I don't think Jose suits them anyway. Interesting story. EDIT: HE'S GONE!
-
And if we win on Weds, we can relax until the final. Looking good for us, well done Estoril whoever you are... Hang on...they can't beat Estoril at home in a massive must win game for them when it's crunch time in the league? That's pretty bad.
-
Neither did i, if Wigan win tomorrow, Newcastle will be in the bottom 3. Madness. What a crazy season.
-
As i was saying... Nah seriously i'm happy for them, they've had a horrendous time of it lol. Really hope they win the Final, they deserve it. 'mon the bees.
-
Epic game, no way Brentford will win this now, they have no bottle.
-
Who the fuck do they think they are? Weird team. Go away.
-
Oh and if anyone doesn't wanna watch the playoffs, there's a random Rangers vs Man Utd legends match going on... http://www.firstrow1.eu/watch/185232/1/watch-rangers-vs-manchester-united.html
-
And then go 1-0 down after 5 minutes. Not looking great for them lol plus they can't score goals for shit. Lot's of teams hate the playoffs though, Huddersfield were the same til they beat Sheff Utd last season on pens, Cardiff, Leeds. Playoffs can be great to watch but horrible if you're involved. I personally think the playoffs shouldn't happen. There should be a 2 legged game or a one off game between the team who comes 3rd from top and the team that comes 3rd from bottom of the higher tear. I.E Watford vs Wigan if things stayed as they are now.
