  1. I feel exactly the same way, i'm not confident about this tie whatsoever but ive decided to go anyway lol.
  2. he wont be out for the season, thats only if there are further problems, if everything goes fine and how it should go, he'll be back in a month and thats what surely will happen. I reckon 6 weeks max. This story is just stating the worse case scenario. There's other scenarios that may happen.

  4. I think Gerrard and Lampard are different tho, they have differing roles. Gerrard is rellied upon to do pretty much everything for liverpool in their midfield. He tackles, defends, drives the team on, scores goals and tbh he is the complete midfielder, Liverpool are not the same team without him at all, he's fucking awesome if i'm honest. I'm not just gonna say he's shit because i'm a Chelsea fan and we're not supposed to like him or say anything good about him, thats bollocks. He is one of the best all round midfielders ive ever seen. Lampard doesnt have to do as much work becuse we have players that are there to help the defence and let lampard go forward. Lampard scores more goals than Gerrard does because of this. I know Liverpool have Mascherano and Sissoko but they dont both play together, Gerrard has the mindset to get back and tackle and dominate the game. When liverpool are struggling, Derby away for example, he does whatever he can to get his team out of trouble, he had an awesome shot against the bar, then he scored the winner in the last minute. Chelsea play with more than one defensive midfielder at the same time usually, mikel and essien or makelele, and Ballack is defensively minded too, usually 2 will play so theres no need for Lampard to do everything, he'll just get in the way like Pizarro does. Lampard has a job to do, score goals and make goals and thats exactly what he does.
  5. i saw it yesterday and clicked on it to see who was on it and what ppl were talking about, i got a message saying theres an error or its unavailable or something.
  6. good question i reckon we'll be ok to play it, but not sure if we'll have enough to make the bench lol.
  7. i think everton will be in trouble if they play like they did yesterday too lol. Still ive been a bit wary of this game since the draw was made but i'm going to it now so we better not fuck it up. I think we need to win by 2 goals. If its 0-0 or a 1-0 win, the 2nd leg will be very uneasy, if we lose we'll be in big trouble but a 2-0 win and it will be job done i feel. Everton rested players yesterday because the carling cup semi final legs are their biggest games since their FA Cup run in 1995. This will be tough but i think we'll just edge through.
  8. well the everton game isnt over yet but it looks as tho they'll lose which is incredible. There have been some crazy scores today, FA Cup 3rd round, gotta love it.
  9. Swansea 1-1 Havant & W, Baptiste Blackburn 1-4 Coventry lol, Mifsud again
  10. Sunderland are getting spanked at home to wigan 3-0 and talking about 3-0's, Blackburn 0-3 Coventry, wtf is going on!!
  11. Tottenham 2-2 Reading, Stephen "the cunt" Hunt
  12. Everton 0-1 Oldham, Gary McDonald with the last kick of the half. Ipswich 0-1 Portsmouth, David Nugent, i'm pleased to see him score. Ipswich had someone sent off in the first half tho. Apparently an awful decision. Blackburn 0-2 Coventry, Ward Penalty Bristol City 1-2 Middlesbrough, Wheater Norwich 0-1 Bury (Rofl), Bishop
  13. i think we should just get them all on now and put the queens away.
  14. i cant stand listening to garth crooks, i'll stick to soccer saturday even tho they have only gone to our game like once so i have no idea how we're playing or whats going on.
  15. Christ, Wolves have finally equalised against Cambridge of the conference at home lol. The yids v Reading is already 1-1, dare i say there is time for 8 more goals. And we have scored Chelsea 1-0 QPR, Pizarro but maybe an own goal, Hit the post, hit camp and went in. Yeah, own goal. Blackburn 0-1 Coventry: Mifsud
  16. Bollocks i need a link too, there loads of games but not ours, look like i'll have to make do with soccer saturday. Still, just ordered 5 tickets to Chelsea v Everton (5 mins ago, cant believe theres so many left) so all is not bad
  17. I'll welcome this tosser to the site even tho i dispise his breed of human being.
  18. lol that sounds about right, he took all the praise for the comeback and if truth be told, we all kinda knew it probably wasnt his motivational teamtalk lol. Steve Clarke shouldve been appointed our next manager anyway instead of grant.
  19. he dives a lot now, he's replaced the showboating by going down like a sack of shit everytime he looks as tho hes in trouble. Learnt that off Robben defo, have the same motion lol, arms out and chuck yaself to the deck.
  20. well he loses the ball a lot too so that means he's not good at anything
  21. But his all round game isnt the best, well at least so far this season. Hes good on the ball agree'd, but without the ball? he has a reckless tackle (can't tackle), he jogs back without breaking sweat, he doesn't score goals. Except for being good and composed on the ball and a decent short range passer, He doesnt do a lot else.
  22. i remember reading something in the mail about jose having a huge argument with Terry and Joe Cole on the training pitch. This was when Joe Cole was unhappy about being left out etc and Cole apparently asked Jose what his role was within the club because Roman was picking the team and making all the major decisions including signings. He was acusing Mourinho of having no imput in anything. This story was before Jose's departure. I know from reading that that Jose wasn't on good terms with Joe Cole or John Terry. I started to worry back then.
  23. i wouldn't be dissappointed if he leaves, he's found it a major struggle this season, been hugely ineffective when he's played. He needs to play for a team that actually wants him and will actually play him. In a team like sunderland, he'll be one of the first names on the team sheet and thats what he needs.
  24. its looking interesting. As much as i think we're sure to blow up sooner or later, we keep winning. Liverpool, well.......BRAMBLE!!! lol what a fucking goal, take a boo son. They are proving how shit they really are, Wigan at "the Fortress Anfield" come and take a point. They are out of it, that will be the 19th year for those poor jobless squatters wait for "their trophy". Man Utd are obviously gonna be there at the end but they look really dodgy defending set pieces, you can get at them. Arsenal......the team i hate with a religous passion always seem to get the job done. It doesnt matter how shit they play, they win this season and i think thats quite worrying. Someone up there is on their side this season. Spose if you look it, it looks as tho it could stay the way it is at the moment on current form. But there's a long way to go and with some good signings, we'll hopefully go on a decent run. When the African nations is over, i can see us surging and going on a great run, just hope its good enough to bring the prem trophy back home. Looking slightly back, Everton and Man City are looking good for the uefa cup along with Villa. Newcastle are in shit, Allardyce is gonna be given the boot sooner rather than later i feel. Tottenham might go on a good run but i feel they'll be too late to challenge for europe. Pompeys home form has let them down, but maybe they can still challenge the euro places too. Further down, Derby are doomed, but the rest.....its gonna be very close. Maybe not as close as the 04/05 season but its gonna be interesting down there as they are all equally as crap as eachother lol
  25. ok i'll admit, he was good against fulham when he came on, sidwell was pants but he has been lazy for the majority when he's played.
