The Toughest Month Of The Season?
Ollie replied to millzy_chelsea_fan's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Don't matter, we're gonna win the league at Anfield anyway :champions: lol It's a very tough month yeah, Atletico &Porto doesn't matter as much, we're already through really and will top the table no doubt. In all honesty, every month is hard. We've lost to wigan and Villa between Sep 26/0ct 17 so maybe october is our toughest month (3 week period from Sep 26-Oct17). Points can be dropped anywhere at any time so i don't really look what the toughest month might be, all i know is that we can't lose more than 3 games from now til the end of the season no matter what stage seems the toughest. Its only tough because of Man Utd and Arsenal, we should hammer Wolves. Got Man city soon after. -
Last time we played Atletico was 1998 i believe in pre season n they beat us 4-0 which wasn't very good.... then we played flamengo from Brazil n won 5-0 We also played em in 1994 and Paul Furlong scored as we won 1-0 in the Makita Trophy at highbury again in pre season. We then lost to Napoli 2-0. Anyway...... lol. I'm going to this, should be a good game because they have good players too but they are shocking at the back. Only their front 2 to worry about. They must win so it possibly plays into our hands too. 3-0
-
Always a dodgy game because they are a good team who play nice football and we are usually shit there, cept our win there last year. I think it'll be close but we'll just edge it. I'm sure we'll be wearing the home kit by the way, its the less likely to clash. Villa always wear their home kit at the bridge. Our 2nd kit is maybe too dark or not dark enough if u understand that lol and the 3rd kit has white shorts I reckon we'll wear our famous blue there for once. 1-0, frank to finally get one

I prefer KTS, more of a challenge instead of just putting Chelsea to win every match
-
Think i got that about right. Absolutely disgraceful performance but we won, we're top, we're going through and now we can come home.
-
Yep, Wigan did deserve the win, ive said that all along tbh. Even our goal was lucky as fuck lol (taxi for Kirkland!) and they had some luck too Cech getting sent off then getting their 3rd when we were down to 9 men. Shit happens, we move on. After what Crespo and Robben did to them between 2005-2007, they sure have got us back aint they. Heskey's last minute goal in 2008 cost us the title n now yesterday, good on em "what goes around, comes around" It's a saying i've always believed and we owe some teams too. Barca got us last year after JT's goal in 2005 that was a blatant foul on Valdes by Carvalho and we got tottenham back last week for the penalty that was given in the CC final in 2008 when Robbie Keane went down and never got a pen. We've got man utd back in an FA Cup final in 2007 (after 1994), we got Man Utd back in a Charity Shield penalty shootout (0-3 in 07, 4-1 in 09). Wigan are just getting us back lol, we'll still win the League by winning at Anfield and we'll win the UCL either this or next year by beating both Man Utd and Barca. It's all about the future

He's gonna score and he's gonna have a great game 'for us' Might put a fiver on it... the Johnson OG winner.
-
Season's over imo, joint top is just gonna be too far a gap to come back from, and there's only 31 games to go. Hopefully man utd can surprisingly drop a point from now to may and we may have a chance.

Chelsea 1-0 Liverpool Johnson og 90

Man Utd have had an identicle start as they have also lost to a bottom 3-6 team. They have bounced back exceptionally since losing to Burnley which was a bigger shock than what happened yesterday. We just have to show some bottle and beat the other members of the big 4 and Man City and change last seasons big match shit around. We have 24 points to pick up from Man Utd, Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal. This will decide our destiny as every 3 points we get, the opponents get none so they are all 6 pointers. Current Position of this latest Crisis = Joint Top

My old cat Chelsea had 3 kittens (like as i said bout 17 years ago ) but we had to sell em all because we was in a small shitty flat at the time
-
Had a cat (Oscar) for 14 years before he died last year bout the time Riise was heading past Reina at the kop. Miss having a cat big time, i love em to bits. Always play with the ones on the way to work lol. I still live with my parents and my mum don't want another one so looks like i wont be getting another one soon. Had a cat called Chelsea when i was growing up, died when i was 5, had 2 at the same time, the other was called Ruby, both died by cars within a few weeks of each other :/

ok October 4th 2009 = Chelsea start to right the wrongs from last season. Fuck the Wigan game, that's dead, this is the type of game we need to do better in. Last season we lost 4 out of the 6 matches against our rivals and only took 4 points from a possible 18. Not good enough at all! We need to sort that out this season or we'll get what we got last year, 3rd and no title. Liverpool did the double over us last season without us even scoring or looking like scoring but we got revenge in the Champions League bashing in 7 against them. Their defence doesn't look very solid at the moment and after our humiliating defeat to Wigan, we have to fly out the traps and show that we're up for the fight and hungry to win this title back. I'm going for a tasty ambitious 3-0, 'mon the blues!

I thought a 3 game ban is only for serious foul play or violent conduct. Well in any case whoever is in goal has to play in midweek too to get some action and confidence. I'm not bothered who plays, Hilario has done it for us fairly well in the past but Turnbull's Middlesbrough beat Liverpool 2-0 at home last season whereas Cech conceded 8 to them, 4 in one game at the bridge. Whoever is in goal, it wont make a difference but i'm sure it'll be the portu-geezer
-
I'm not expecting anything great in this game because they'll wanna save themselves a bit for the game on Sunday. We need to just go there, get the win, keep everyone fit and come home. A mediocre 1-0 suits me just fine. This time last year it was Cluj away and that was rubbish, this might be similar. As long as we win, all's good. 1-0 Nico

So glad we're at home because it's another game i can go to and get some more loyalty points for these lovely games in May

Disgraceful, embarrasment of a performance and result. We can't win them all but out of all the teams in the premiership, you cannot lose to fucking wigan. We got lucky against Stoke and Hull with last minute winners, we was lucky against Tottenham as they should of had a penalty at 1-0 so this was on the cards in a way. I always said if we keep conceding the first goal early we'll lose eventually and we have.... Rodallega is a cheating cunt and the referee was absolutely abysmal but we certainly didn't deserve to win. Shocking performance. I do believe that it's came at a good time tho, it was always going to happen that we were gonna slip up eventually. Man Utd lost to Burnley and look what's happened since that to them. This will be a blessing in disguise as we'll be more focussed on the liverpool game and more determined to win it. This defeat would've hurt the players. Today was a blip, it's the premiership. Well played to Wigan, move on.
-
It's gonna be dodgy this one. They stopped our 100% record at the bridge last season and lately we've been shit against them. I think it'll be a draw again but i really hope we just nick it 2-1 or 1-0. Not hugely confident though for some reason, we're much better than them but just seems a dodgy game.
-
Let him goad us, tottenham aint exactly gods gift. He's probably right anyway, Man Utd are bigger than us, who cares?

Family comes first over everything unless of course you hate your family. I do see lots of flags, specially from mancs saying "MUFC First, Kids Second, Wife Third" i think thats so harsh lol but mancs aint got lives. I support Chelsea, i have no influence what happens to them, i have no real input in Chelsea winning or losing because i dont play for them, all i can do is cheer, sing, call "MAN ON!" and call 'Stevie G' a scouse cunt. When it comes to family and life outside hobbies, it's all about yourself because you can influence everything around you.

Booking online is perfectly safe, ive done it for about 3 or 4 years now, its the best and easiest way by far.

Statement will be soon and there will be an appeal once they have been sent the letter from UEFA explaining what has actually happened in full detail.

Yeah this season wont change, its just gonna hit us in the summer when our 30+ year olds will be older and we can't replace them. Belletti, Ballack, Deco & co will have to stay beyond the rest of this season for sure. BUT..... We do have an awesome squad, anyone else woulda been really fucked so we are lucky in that respect. Sure we might get it reduced they'll just say we can't buy in the summer so we wont get anywhere. Unprecedented stuff going on but we'll come out of this strong, i'm not THAT concerned, concerned sure but not crying bout it. You can't brake Chelsea Fifa. Just imagine the look on Platini's face when JT lifts the UCL trophy.
