There's no point speculating about our manager when we're top of the league, through in the Champions league and have a good chance getting through to the FA Cup fourth round. It's not fair, just let him take us where he takes us.

I'd rather the UCL because of the amount of shit luck we have had and the tears everyone has gone through (players i mean but yeah, us fans too). The league is obviously a target, would be stupid not to think that and i'm still certain we'll win it regardless of previous performances. Winning the UCL tho would allow us finally to put Moscow and previous screwings out of the memory for good. If you ask JT, Lamps and Drogs what they wanna win most, they would say the UCL no doubt.

Can play anywhere along the back 4 and do an equally solid job (well not sure bout LB). He's got everything as a defender. Still young too, he'll have many years with us.

I just find it strange that we asked the transfer ban to be delayed, then not do anything in January. We might get this ban when we really need it, i just dont get it. If we don't buy in Jan and get the ban from say.... after the season, we're in trouble.

Regardless of our position, things have not been good lately. After we stuffed Le'Arse we've been completely toothless up front. Didier hasn't looked bothered and when we get to the final 3rd, we're breaking down. The only reason we're top is because Liverpool and man Utd are having crap seasons. We were lucky away to Stoke and at home to Hull, we were pretty lucky at home to Man Utd too and even against Tottenham we got some real elements of luck. We have had some great performances yes, but not enough. The way Man Utd and Liverpool are playing, and Man City drawing like 8 already, Tottenham and Villa could both finish in the top 4 and Man Utd, Liverpool and Man City could come 5th, 6th and 7th. No excuses, top or not top, we're getting opportunities to go clear in matches that aint even against any of the best 10 teams in the league (Birmingham wont stay 7th). We have to start winning games, and quick. P.S If we were in Liverpool's position, Ancelotti would be gone and rightfully so.

Sturridge looks lively, he gets in positions, he's confident. Yeah he missed a sitter, we all jumped up in celebration til we realised the ball was behind the bloody goal. His earlier effort was excellent but brilliantly saved by the best English goalkeeper around. He will score goals, no doubt, he just needs that first one. If he scors early against fulham, he'll get bloody 3.
