  1. Bit disappointed we didn't just put our foot down and smash em because they were crap today. We played in like 4th gear the whole game at walking pace. Probably the easiest UCL KO match i've ever seen us play. Pretty sure we're home and dry now and a big test awaits where it gets nervy and a need-to-get-drunk-whilst-watching type of game. JUst a shame Nando didn't score, he did everything but in truth. Looked a Chelsea boy today. Week of now which is great and roll on Man Utd next Tuesday (Where we do fucking Arsenal a mammoth favour...)
  2. Cech 7 - Safe and very steady but wish he'd stop that high launch up the pitch Bosingwa 5 - Kept going the wrong way, not direct enough, no urgency and was not putting the ball in the area. Also kept bottling challenges Ivanovic 6 - Didn't have much to do but was a bit lapse at times Terry 6 - Again not much to do, daft yellow card too Cole 7 - Looked good today, got up and down the pitch, got some balls in and defended strongly Essien 6 - Steady really but not enough urgency with the ball Lampard 3 - Crap control, no urgency, awful passing (Except the goal, hence maybe why he wasn't a 2), wasn't shooting, our worst player by some distance, he just slowed everything down or stopped our attacks. Ramires 7 - Like this guy, full of energy again, good control, first touch and speed, looks a top player. The team should be played around him now, not Lampard. Malouda 6 - Average, he wasn't bombing up n down putting crosses in or having many shots. He seemed to just cruise through it Anelka 8 - Took his goals excellently and looked very sharp and lively Torres 7 - Was good today, he got into the positions and really should've scored a couple. Just let down by his first touch but it's coming for him. Showed excellent vision too.
  3. Whether it's next month, next year, next decade, whatever.... He'll be back and there's not 1 Chelsea fan, anywhere that wouldn't be happy about it. He's got a job to do at the biggest team in the world tho first, i'd give it 2 more seasons.
  4. Wow De Lucas, blimey i actually forgot about him. We've not had many Spaniards at all, i'm sure those 4 is all. May of had some youngsters but not 1st team squaders.

    Tattoos

I love the red staff, it makes it look much better and less bland. I typed in 'Chelsea Tattoos' in google images and your one came up on the first page. I'm desperate to get one but just don't know where to get it. I have a good idea tho.
  6. See, you ppl have seen my latest facebook post right? That's why i want Arsenal to fail miserably.
  7. the 1998 saga was quite funny, Goldbaek scored for Copenhagen against Chelsea at the bridge and Laudrup scored for Chelsea against Copenhagen in Denmark and then we swapped Laudrup for Goldbaek, gotta say tho, Goldbaek was excellent for us in his short time here. I had 'Laudrup 7' on my white away shirt, was devastated lol. Bit late anyway but Welcome to the forum.
  8. Thought this would be a copenhagen fan talking bout the game on tuesday lol. Welcome to TC mate,
  9. Copenhagen will go all out to win this game, i can't see them defending at all. It's their first time in the knock out phase and they wont go out with a wimper. This is their leg to go for it and that plays into our hands i hope so we can nick that away goal. Surely we're due a good performance and a couple of goals. Can't wait for this game.
  10. I think we should go there and try n win the game and make it as easy as we can for the 2nd leg. I'm not saying its gonna be easy but we can go there and win with the players we have, 1-0 suits fine.
  11. Well they are playing teams their level so u can compare it. Like Norwich have scored 9 goals in injury time. Weird.
  12. And Villa 3-3 too after we had it won. We never score last minute winners either like Arsenal and Man Utd do, it's really frustrating. Goals happen late because that's when the team who needs to score presses the most to get the goal, it's natural i guess.
  13. Nah Cahill's was 07/08 i think. In the one she means, we drew 1-1 in 06/07 to equal liverpools record and everton had a last minute winner ruled out for offside or something.
  14. Its an amazing record, the man's just a fucking genius and since he left us, we've been a bit dodgy at home. Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool twice, Sunderland and newcastle beat us in the CC. BUT... Maybe he should manage a shit team like West Ham, we'll see how long that lasts.
  15. Still think about why Jose was at the Fulham game giving hugs in the crowd lol then we buy players that suit him who speak portuguese (Luiz and Ramires, altho ramires was earlier). They are Jose's type of player like we're buying players for Jose's Chelsea team next season. Just seems a bit weird that they (JM & RA) are still good friends and talking after what happened in 2007. And the fact that we all know he's coming back to the EPL. I dont want Carlo to go (yet) but if Jose came back, i wouldn't cry about it. Jose and Guus are the only 2 that i want if Carlo loses his job. Carlo should be given the whole of next season though.
  16. He's hardly covered himself in glory this season has he. If we don't qualify for the UCL he's gone unless we win the UCL this season. If we qualify for the UCL but don't win the UCL this season, he might be gone anyway. We've been awful this season.
  17. Welcome to TC, hope you enjoy yourself here and bring us some luck to this craphole of a season we're having. Yeah got a Spanish player now lol. Had Del Horno and Albert Ferrer too so we've had a few over the years but not many.
  18. I'd rather them win the league than the Champions League though.
  19. It was there the whole time? ... damn lol cheers guys (I'm so dumb).
  20. How the hell do u find out who gave u rep and when lol. When i come here and see i've got like 3 more, i always look to see what from but don't find em
  21. It's hard to rate them really because we were playing against a no-nonsense, hoofy, shit Everton team that were playing for penalties as soon as the ref blew his whistle to start the game. It's easy to criticise from watching the tv but that Everton team is a fucking pain in the arse to play. We tried so hard, i could see from the frustration that it was just not happening for them no matter what they tried. The performances weren't just to do with us, but Everton too Lampard was getting in the positions, had chances to score and was so nearly on the end of key passes but his passing was crap and he seems so slow with reactions and movement. Even his control has let him down big time lately. I'd say 6 for Lamps because his impact should of been greater and that chip.... just utter stupidity. Ramires was the man for me. Great control, great speed and just looks the part. He has good control and gets away from players very well. 8/10 And JT, i just love him. Always gives 100% and he's not just a fantastic passionate defender but he's also a brilliant footballer and he came to us at the end and clapped us, clapped him back and altho i was feeling crap, it made me feel a bit better that our captain still has time to thank us after a sad defeat. We all clapped back n just said meh.... one of those seasons. Tough game, roll on Tuesday against a less physically powerful team who hopefully wont just sit back and whack the ball in any which direction suits.
  22. Man Utd because i fucking hate Arsenal. They are the biggest cheating moany cunts the premiership has ever seen. Despise their manager, about 8 of their players and their jealous fans. Man Utd... We've seen it all before. If Arsenal won it, i'd (we'd) never hear the end of it. I know tooooo many wanky gooners. Please Man Utd, stop those from winning it, anyone than them
  23. He's still fantastic and while he's good, let him play. 2 bad things = Hairy and MUFC. Oh 3... has a fucking Yoga DVD!
