Looks like the boys are performing for Jose's birthday today.
-
As everyone said Oscar, Matic and ofcourse Hazard are on fire. Our pressing is out of this world today. Just need a bit more luck.
-
Guys FFS !! this isn't talkpolitics this is talkCHELSEA !!!
-
Just about I just prefer his vision and passing as well as his control of the tempo of the game.
-
Yeah aboutreika might be our best player of all time but he is past his prime now. Salah is our best player now and definitely performs on the international and european level as we saw.
-
I really do feel he can at least be one hell of an impact sub, plus I am sure he is coming to fight for his place and won't get down if he is benched more than he plays. Peace and love bro.

Ok guys I am egyptian so I may be a bit biased, but this kid is really good. He is the best egyptian player by far, has lightning speed and can control the ball really well. His passing and link up play is also very good. As for the anti-semite thing he really isn't he was just making a point against a palestinian massacre that had just happened when he didn't shake the israeli team's hands but I am sure he doen't hate jews. Plus we are a multi cultural team and we shouldn't let politics get between us. To all our israeli friends on here please don't jam politics and religion into football and support Salah because he is a chelsea player now like I supported benayoun when he was here.

Our defense was rock solid tonight and for people saying united were shit tonight, we made them play like shit. They were on a roll, RVP was on fire but we made him look invisible. I hope Terry and Cahill work at this partnership so it can finally reach its potential, and when Luiz is fit again play him at CDM or when we want to rest Terry.
-
I think he is just not 100 percent fit so Jose didn't want to risk him in this big game. I believe as Jose said Mata is staying at Chelsea.
-
Although we weren't great tonight we did the job and got a point at old trafford. Our attack didn't really start clicking up to the 60th minute where we had some chances. I think Hazard and Oscar were good tonight but we needed more creativity from them and we're definetely missing Mata. Torres was trying too hard to dribble at players and didn't do anything special, would've preferred to see Lukaku. However I am really happy we kept a clean sheet and prevented united from playing their game. Yes we could've gone for the win but the draw away to united shows we mean business and are the team to beat this year. KTBFFH

In Egypt, Chelsea are fairly popular, I think thanks in part to Drogba who is well known around here. I think we are now joint first in premier league popularity with United here but no where near barcelona and real madrid. They have always been the most popular, even more popular than local teams. Thankfully though City havent amounted to any popularity since there title win so all is good.

I disagree I think Terry still has it in him he is very young in Defender years and can go for another 3 or more seasons. His form hasnt been the best for the last couple of months but every player has rough patches. Plus neither Luiz nor Cahill are true leaders and with Drogba gone and Lampard having atmost 2 more seasons in him we really nead Terry untill we can find a new leader.
-
I think we really should get hulk, we need a physical threat now that drogba is gone and lukaku is not yet ready for first team football.
-
Great, if this is true I love how our strike force is looking for next season ..................................................................Torres............................................................................... .....................Mata..................................................................................Hazard................................. And if we get Hulk he could replace Mata and have Mata drop to midfield

I couldn't believe my eyes when I first saw him being wheeled out. It really hit home what we have accomplished thus far. I just hope he gets what he deserves. I won't settle for anything less than life in prison for him and his cronies. Now off to try and elect a democratic president.

Yes that's one of the reasons we are extremely mad. So far not even one cup has been tried or convicted for killing our protestors. How in the blue hell does killing an unarmed peaceful protestor result in a suspension.
-
That's what we are trying to avoid by doing peaceful protests all over the country to force the military to comply to our demands. Moreover the military has promised to turn over its ruling of the country to a democratically elect president by the end d the year. We are continuing the protests to remind them that the people still have the power.
-
Well it's not gonna work out right away, we're trying. I would take our current state anytime over being ruled by Mubarek and his son for the next 30 years. It's not easy trying to build a democracy in a country that hasn't known it for over 60 years.
-
:goodpost: It's a shame the US government couldn't care less about democracy in the middle east.
-
well, that sucks . Man I hope we rap up this military reign before they start eying up our resources if they haven't already.
-
Oh, I didn't know about the weapons deals but of course the tension between the military and the people right now is at its peak. I am just hoping for the best.
-
Well from what I can see right now, hopefully it wont come down to a civil war but there is a sense of the people feeling fed up with the army and their unfulfilled promises of reform. Hopefully the army will continue their promise of not using force and the upcoming parliament elections go on smoothly.
