  1. He has made a mistake... The games are on different nights.
  2. This is good. Away game out the road first.
  3. I don't know why they make such a big show of every draw. Pull the teams out of the bowl and let's go.
  4. Sky Sports are running a minute or so delayed, so if you want the live draw go to Eurosport
  5. It's always the same. They managed to drag on the Euro 2016 draw on for 60 minutes.
  6. Well UEFA might not enforce it but it was a signed contract so a civil court would enforce it.
  7. PSG were scared of Hazard. Two players on home the whole time he was on. So it slightly opened up a little when he went off. The French arrogance underestimated the capability of Willian, Oscar and Schurlle.
  8. As said Oscar really stepped up the other night. I was criticizing his form for a while but he(and everyone else too) showed what they are capable of. To be honest, when Hazard went off it changed the way we played. Everyone else then stepped up. No longer was it a case of pass to Eden and hope he gets it in the box. Which wasn't going to work anyway because as soon as he got a sniff of the ball there were two players on him right away. Willian and Oscar played really well together, switching roles when appropriate. Assisted by Schurlle and his steady eddy, solid German engineering of the ball, which allowed the two boys from Brazil to do their thing.
  9. I struggled to pick a man of the match. So many good performances last night, but I've voted Schurrle. It was all meant to be. Schurlle coming on in the 17th and going on to score. Atmosphere was special last night too. On another note, not long home from the game last night and just getting to watch the TV coverage that I recorded. I won't be watching ITV until they kick that bitter w@nker Roy Keane to the kerb. Before the match, he was saying he thinks Chelsea have left themselves too much to do and PSG will go through. Fair enough. A lot of people's opinion, even some of our own fans. BUT... After the game he starts going on about how we never played good and were just lucky, obviously raging and eating his words. I'm sorry but everybody on that pitch last night played out of their skin. They can leave him to be a pundit for ManUre if they want but I won't be watching any of their coverage from now on unless they get shot of him.
  10. They have Hazard lights on because they know Edens about Come on chelsssss !!!!!!
  11. Take the first leg out of the equation... If you were asked, do you think we could beat PSG at least 2-0 at The Bridge what would your answer be. I think a resounding yes. Come on Chels!!
  12. Woah. Put your handbag away along with your "lying" comment. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. What I will say in my defence is I share the same nationality as Davis Moyes...
  13. Eto'o not even making the bench today is almost a sure sign he won't be starting on Tuesday. There seems to have been a method in Jose's madness by playing Torres for 90 mins today.
  14. At the end of the day, we need two goals on Tuesday, minimum. I don't care if they come from Torres or Cech but a goal for Torres today wouldn't have been a bad thing.
  15. I don't in anyway think he is going to go on a goal spree because he scored a penalty. However, it looks like, at this stage he is going to be the man who plays up top on Tuesday night. On Tuesday night, each and every single player on the park is going to be extremely important to us. A goal with Fernando's name on it would do him no end of good on a personal level which is good for the team. Even for his team mates to throw him the ball and tell him to take the penalty would have been a boost to his confidence. "Here Torres, you're the striker, this one if for you, we trust you."
  16. Any goal will do. He needs to break down that brick wall. One on one with the keeper is just as good from open play. It would change his mind set. It's all ifs and buts now though. Lampard took the penalty and we have another game with no Fernando goal, going into one of the most important ties of the season.
  17. Post above. Fernando needed a goal for himself and the team.
  18. When everybody gets into the dressing room at The Bridge on Tuesday night they should already know what is required. Mou should put the full version of the Champions League theme on the changing room media player then walk out.
  19. To be honest I didn't know it before the game, but once I realised that it was his 250th goal I knew that's why he had taken the penalty. He also looked eager to score throughout the game. Couple of wobbly shots. I just thought, for the team and the position we are in, It was important to get Fernando a goal today by any means.
  20. Thanks for posting this. The video also means something to me as it was around the period when my late grandad had got me into Chelsea!
  21. 12 hours of football without conceding a goal at Stamford Bridge. Bonne chance. Vous voyez le mardi.
  22. ... Infact Torres probably started today ahead of Ba to warm him up, hopefully get him a goal and some confidence to start on Tuesday.
