  1. I'm not missing it. That is my point. Nobody is bigger than the club. Nobody is immune to hearing the fans voice. Without the fans there is no club.
  2. Too many people on here getting starry-eyed over some players. Nobody is bigger than the club. Not Fabregas. Not Costa. Not even Roman.
  3. Matic took a power too. It seemed like it was all the ones suspected of going against Mourinho that got it tight... but Cesc was one of Jose's boys. He has been terrible, but he still stood by Mourinho.
  4. If you think it's a disgrace that players got booed today, or Chelsea fans made their feelings known... maybe football isn't for you.
  5. Some of the players should have been booed a long time ago to give them a kick up the arse. If they were in Spain or Italy they wouldn't be able to show their face in public. Hardly a disgrace booing them. Aw sorry Costa we hurt your feelings you have been taking the club for a ride for months.
  6. Don't jump on the bandwagon and think just because we are winning 2-0 against Sunderland, that it proves it was Mourinho's fault. 1 Sunderland are one of the very few teams in the league that have performed worse than us this season 2 Regardless of what way you swing it, the whole dressing room will be charged up. Just like the fans. Some are delighted, some are furious. Mourinho's boys will be angry. The ones that are happy to see the back of him will be delighted. Transfer the emotion to the pitch and finally we have some passion. Said it before and I'll say it again. Regardless of what you think of Mourinho, anyone that wasn't performing because they don't like the manager can GTF as well. They've let the club and the fans down because of a personal issue they have. They get paid £200k a week to do a job. Go f**king do it. Mourinho or no Mourinho.
  7. He'll get another chance when Jose is at Man U.
  8. Play for the shirt. Not the manager.
  9. His results (Mourinho's) are beyond unacceptable. And he did throw the players under the bus there like Excalibur said but lets face it they deserve it. They've been protected plenty. How many guys on here have had a falling out with their boss? For how many on here, their gaffer might not be their favourite person in the world.... but they still have to show up to work and perform. And no doubt for much less that £200k a week. No excuses. They are responsible as well. They all live a privileged life and they should be thankful for the people that make it possible. The support. The guys travelling about the country week in week out. Turning up and supporting in full voice regardless of the result. They should be working for them.
  10. I think if Mourinho was for the sack he would be gone by now. it seems as if he's been given a period of time with his 'vote of confidence.' He'll be here till Jan or the end of the season imo.
  11. Whether the players like Mourinho or not is irrelevant. They earn a multiple of most fans salaries on a weekly basis. If I don't like my manager at work I still need to show up and do my job to the standards expected.
  12. Hazard even in form is no where near Messi or Ronaldo. Not to say he can't be in future. But he's arrogant and doesn't stand up and grab a game by the balls. And he doesn't carry the team either. He's an individual and still has a long way to go before you can put him in the Messi/Ronaldo category. If Real want Hazard get a swap deal done for Bale. TBH though they would probably be more interested in Will just now.
  13. Toys get thrown out the pram on here, every time we lose. Then as soon as we win they are all superstars again. Matic, his first yellow card was a deliberate foul, but a tactical foul. "Taking one for the team" job. But after that he should have really known to keep the head down. Fabs offside goal was borderline if offside at all. In Jan we need a couple of fresh faces that can actually make an impact. No panic buys. No flops (Salah, Cuad, probably Baba). Guys that will actually get in the starting line up week in week out. Varane.... If there was any truth in the attempted Pogba signing he'll fit nicely into the hold. All the noise about Hazard wanting to go to Madrid... if we are in danger of losing anybody to the big 2 in Spain, it'll be Willian.
  14. RLC getting the nod ahead of Fab, Oscar (if fit), Rami or Mikel will only happen if Mourinho wants to make a BIG statement... So far the only statement we've seen is that certain positions in the squad are 'safe' so a Ruben start is closer to stuff of fantasy than anything else just now. Also, he as much said Cahill will start in the champions league pre match on Saturday. The Rubens and Baba's are likely to be playing against Walsall next week. The games are coming thick and fast now.
  15. Hi mate. I know I'm a bit slow to the topic. On and off the forum as I work away a lot. My preferred routine for The Bridge is British Airways Glasgow to Heathrow. Jump on the Heathrow Express to Paddington. Downstairs for the district line tube to Fulham Broadway station which is right at the stadium. Usually stay in the DoubleTree by Hilton on Imperial Rd which is about a 10 min walk to the stadium. There are some cheaper options about, Premier Inns in Kensington etc but I like the convenience of the DoubleTree. Sometimes the convenience pays for itself. Especially if you're out with the boys the night before. Stamford Bridge is an easy walk with a hangover via the bar for a hair of the dog. If theres a group of you, you might be just as cheap ditching the HX and Tube and just getting a taxi from the airport. Black hack will put you out about £70 into Chelsea/Fulham at the weekend. If your going out for a night out bus or taxi into the centre of London is easy enough.
  16. There are some tout websites online if you do a bit of searching, however you will be ripped off price wise and have to pay way above face value and then extortionate booking fees too.
  17. I think we need to start a bit of rotation in the squad here, rest players and put trust in the other players we have outside the guaranteed starts. Look at JT. In 2014 he had the whole summer off when the world cup was on. He went on to be the best centre back in the league the following season. This summer nobody got a rest. They were travelling here, there and everywhere then thumped right into competitive football when they get back to England and they are all having a nightmare. Fab needs a holiday. Matic needs a holiday. Hazard needs to be let off his leash but he also has to step up and 'be the man.' Costa needs support. It's so frustrating to watch the ball get lumped up to him and he ends up on his lonesome on the wing with nobody to pick out in the box. As I said earlier, 4-2-3-1 needs to go. Everybody knows how we are going to set up and it's simply not getting the best out of the squad we have.
  18. If they can't support through the good and bad they can go just now. :blue scalf:
  19. I think (I hope) what is said in the dressing room will be much different to what is aired out in public.
  20. Don't think a round the world pre-season tour helped things. Thailand, OZ, USA. Something is going on behind the scenes though.
  21. Change the system in the case of Fab being dropped. 4-2-3-1 is not working. He needs a rest more than anything. 2 weeks off. Agree, who will replace Mourinho. All good and well calling for his head but for who?!?
  22. Cesc looking like a doubt for tonight according to Sky Sports News.
