Willian would have scored the pen 99.999% or Jorginho or Kepa.

Bilbao are a German team ?
-
0-0 against decent opposition in Germany.
-
We are miles behind Barcelona who disposed of this team with the utmost of ease. Barcelona are playing space age football, despite their two sh*ters against Roma and Liverpool. I saw Barkley insisting to take the pen, he was saying to the others "me-me-me". He was looking confident but no serious penalty taker goes for the roof of the net like that. Name one. This team of ours apart of everything else is low on stamina. The chances created in the second half were very few compared to the first half. Only the free kick Willian won and then the keeper saved Alonso's shot was the product of a decent move and the penalty was from set piece.
-
That was an idiot's penalty.

Tammy is 12 to 1 with bet365 - probably more with other bookmakers. What do you think ?
-
Some great attacking football and Abraham is well on its way to become top scorer of th PL (price ? can't find). We conceded two but in the last 30 minutes both teams had ran out of steam really (it was alread 4-0 though). Clearly Tomori's opening goal greatly influenced things. I just think we need more stamina against stronger opposition.
-
i think we got ourselves a centre forward. But the defense is tottering in the seams. It was a mistake to let Luiz go.
-
Valencia is the weakest opponent. Ajax struggled against PAOK (out of Euroepa to Slovan Bratislave tonight) and also APOEL. Lille are doing well in France and are feared most.
-
Willian played for four minutes - Alonso for one.
-
a. Atkinson was their twelfth player. b. We normally see a lot of chances created with the Lamps system - under Mou, Sarri, Antonio we played parallel football. c. The defense is crumbly - maybe Kante and Rudiger will help.
-
7 becomes 25 when you travel at the speed of light.
-
We scored after 7 mins. Soon after there was that glancing header (from Kante ?) that landed into Smeichel's arms. Then nothing.
-
You call the first seven minutes "first half".
-
I want to know this: We were vulnerable to counterattacks ok, but luckily nothing happened. The scored from a corner kick not a counterattack. But our midfield and up front was Sahara desert - Gobi desert, from the moment after Mount scored for us (7th minute !). How do you explain that ?
-
Vardy is a good player. Now I know why the big clubs did not go for him. He's 32, so the year Leicester won the title he was 28. About us however it was not only the vulnerability to counterattacks, because when did you see any serious attacking football after the 1-0 - or a couple of minutes after the 1-0 to be precise ? Nothing worked well and only the final scoreline was not horrible enough, like the staweberries-raspberries last year.
-
I mean you write something. It's nonsense. You tear it up. That was yesterday's Chelsea performence.
-
If we talk about work and yesterday's work was mine, it would lie in the dustbin now. Happens to me from time to time mind you.
-
We all know this is an experimental season. But are we really so bad ?
-
I think Lamps is trying to do away with the Sarri-Antonio-Mourinho slow build up system at the expense of position keeping and at the expense of leaving the defense exposed. Not only that but his players got tired after 20-25 minutes of play and Leicester (!) dominated the game, inside Stamford bridge as well. It was dismal,
-
Yesterday we were outplayed, for the first time in years by a midtable team. Against Utd we were unlucky, yesterday we were outplayed.
-
Second division football. Frenetic start then everything collapsed. This was not a big six team, not even a premier team I 'm afraid. I think what happened was this: Lampard does n't play man to man. This makes the team look fast when in possession, but when they lose the ball it's drama. Then once the Leicester players caught drift of the system, they turned the tables on us. Leicester should have won.
-
I don't care about pens. It's part of the game, it's make or break (e.g. Eintracht) but it's a random thing - we could just as easily lose to Aston Villa on penalties. The team showed some considerable qualities yesterday, against the nominally strongest opposition in Europe.
-
Now that the dust has settled what happened was this: We were the better side up to the point they scored their second goal - United were living on scrapes. But the Zouma flop in the first half had already made things diffcult for us. Then they make it 2-0. That was it - game over and it can happen any time, any place if you are unlucky. The thing to do under such circumstances is don't give up -like we did. You must n't drop the white towel. Ok, let it stay 2-0, the final result. But we behaved like amateur side, abandoned positions, everyone panicked. We awarded a 4-0 victory to Man. United, a team that will barely make it to the Europa cup of the next year.
-
Zouma I think was a sort of hopeful back in the season when he was injured. But I don't think he's any good at this level. Certainly not a new Terry.
