We are in the semis against Real.

So I dutched a Scottish 2n division match in three and made it into an effective double with Liverpool v. Boavista (professionals v. amateurs really). But the Scousers drew 0-0. I looked at Werner with a different eye yesterday. He seems to be incredibly slow when he has to connect with the ball. Starting with the James cross early on in the match his reactions were slow. That one was flagged offside but it does n't matter.

First freekick leads to yellow card, second one leads to Tiago sent off. There were two terrible mistakes - infront of Tiago. Who made them ? My commentry was in German so I did not understand. After the sending off things became too dangerous and after the fluke equalizer it was a matter of time before Albion scored more.

Whoever gave them those two free-kicks in the first half, leading to Tiago sent off, fcuked up the match.

Is it possible that this thing happened: The moment Werner is about to shoot the goalkeeper shouts at him something like "boommmm". Werner is scared - he misses the chance. This is what happened to me once: I 'm in the army with a rifle shooting detail. When I took position the trainer in sweet voice says to me "oooh, it's my dear friend, welcome, welcome". I take the rifle, place the cartridge in, was about to take aiming position when all of a sudden he starts yelling at me like a madman. Result: I drop the rifle on the floor ! Now this was part of the drill it seems so that's why he acted like that.

Last time I played football myself in a normal sized pitch was when I was at college, many years ago. I remember three players from that match, apart from myself. The centre forward who was a tall guy and he scored our goal. But I did n't like him because he had his eyes always on the floor. Also a fast right winger we had and a talented Portuguese centre half - the Beckenbauer of the team. I think what makes a lot of difference is not having your eyes always on the floor when in possession but you should also be capable of looking around and this is true not only for the midfielders but also for the attackers. I think that's Werner's main problem. His eyes are fixed on the floor. But yesterday it was n't that either. It was more like the opposite of what I 'm saying. He thinks he can guide it in with his left foot but fails to make proper contact and it's not even a shot at goal what he does. In fact it was quite easy for him to stop the ball and shoot with the right foot - no opponents near by and it was too close for the goalkeeper to manage a save.

Could it have been a fix ? The Germans have a soft tooth for NM.

Werner is top in the list of loosers right now. There were three Greek players in the past like him. Dintsikos, Lakis, Okkas (Cypriot), all internationals. One day Okkas received a fantastic pass from the Serbian Georgevitch, alone with the goalkeeper. The speaker goes "wow, what a fantastic ball through by the Serbian" then "uh-oh it's Okkas - forget it". True to form Okkas passed the ball tamely into the arms of the goalkeeper. But nobody missed chances as badly as Werner does. Morata as Chelsea surely not.

I used to shoot like Werner for a couple of minutes during a warmup, after one and a half years of not playing football.

They should change the system. An England team should be a team with all the players of the English leagues, including foreigners. Thus Havertz for ex. plays for England and not for Germany, as per his contract. The same for all the other countries.
