You can't deny there is a whole host of tricks. The football analogies are many: trick 1 - They wait until the Bayern players, Barcelona players go to the beach for vacations. Then splash headlines "we are the best - we will smash them all". trick 2 - Splash headlines again "Pele signs with (team of your choice)". The next day "battle for Pele". The third day big headlines again but it's a pub landlord from somewhere north of Helsinki-Reykjavik this time. The clever instructor also tries to manipulate your thinking "look this awful woman he says who is the general manager of (government body)". Your task is to follow. If you say "b-b-b-ut she is slim and has a nice sun tan, so what is the problem ?", the instructor frowns visibly. Those and more.

Let me change it. You want to travel by sea. QE2 is the best ship but the one who has gained your trust says take "Uncle Nick" some WWI relic that belonges to one of his friends. So you have a hell of a journey and curse the day you were born. Happens every day. The relation to politics is obvious.

You say if we die we can't be buried in one day ? Maybe, I 'm not keen on the details of the undertaker's profession. So you think they don't do tricky dicky things ?

The following psychological phenomenon is known to all the politicians around the world: A man goes to the doctor clutching his tummy. The doctor examines him and says "you are probably in for a burst appendix, so we had better arrange to have that removed in hospital". The man walks out and tells a pub friend about it and the pub friend says "nonsense - what utter claptrap - what you should do is eat a double beefburger and wrap yourself in a hot blanket". Invariably the patient listens to the pub friend and we have his funeral the following day.

I don't know why they call Chelsea boring, I remember the Europa final against Benfica 4 years ago and there was nothing boring about it. Against Bayern, we parked the bus alright, but any football team of this planet look the same if they actually do that in a game. But did n't Jose back in the beginning of the season say we are going to play Barcelona's passing game from now on ? So I think it's only this season that this somewhat applies. I always find Barcelona's style boring and I 'm much more attracted by Real Madrid's system, Bale's runs, the long balls to Cristiano they make. I don't have preference for any Spanish team so Barcelona with this system of theirs sometimes are spectacular thanks to Messi-Neymar. The same applies to Chelsea, thanks to Hazard. But Mourinho counts only the points earned, just like the legendary Helenio Herrera did before him.

It's a preseason friendly now. Last year they 've been saying though as Mersey will be near to Chelsea's goalposts they will drawn in there (n.b. 2-0, Willian walked with the ball into their net in the end). I know Trend river is just behind the one end of the Forest ground but if they say Mersey is similarly situated relative to Enfield, I presume that's correct. But we did n't go for swim in the river.

The party is on !

Bad penalty effort by Hazard. It was obvious the goalkeeper was going to dive left and he took aim at him ! In addition the ball did not even go to the corner, went a little off centre. That was fortunate however the way Spironi lost the ball ...

The police ain't brutal unless they have political instructions to be so. It's unlikely, so it appears the problem is more complex.

A madman escapes from the lunatic asylum, enters a car that was parked outside, starts the engine and goes away. He enters the motorway at high speed, against the current. The drivers of the other vehicles upon seeing him coming at them were hitting their brakes, blowing their corns, flicking their lights ... panic ! The police gives an announcement to all radio stations, to avoid accidents. "We interrupt our program for a special announcement ! DRIVERS ATTENTION ! Mad driver moves on the national motorway at high speed, in the wrong current". The madman himself listens to this in his radio ... looks right, looks left, shakes his head and says to himself "as if it is only one of them ..." !

Normally the immigrants have some arrangements and jobs waiting for them. Onassis was an immigrant to Argentine. His uncles had an office job waiting for him and three tanker ships so he did not start penniless as is the popular belief, but he was an immigrant. My uncles became immigrants to Australia, but in their case it was because they earned decorations in the war. The other type of immigrant is one who jumps on a train and says wherever that goes, I go. Yet the other type is the person who is persecuted. It's a pity we don't help such persons. Back when there was the Berlin wall, everytime someone succeded in making an escape, West Germans held a mini celebration. Now maybe we shoot them. Anyway regarding all the above types, UKIP and the similar minded political parties exhibit intense hostility. In addition they want to displace persons and start ethnic cleansing.

If EU is destroyed it will affect the livelihoods of many millions of people. It's not like only the giant corporations are involved in the scheme, the way it was in the early days of the "coal-iron community". It's ethnic cleansing like former Jugoslavia, Kossovo, Bosnia. Needless to say the extremists of the right and left are happy with this, but their ranks have been swelled by some others too. These days a probable GR-exit is the hot topic but it looks like Greece-in and EU-exit is also a scenario ! In the 1975 UK referendum the no vote was 30%. The main protagonists of the "no camp" were National Front-Monday Club-Trotskyites-Communist party. The first and the last were small but noisy entities, the other two somewhat bigger. All together they made up the 30% no vote. In those days the left dreamed of Soviet tanks rolling down from the east and reaching Pas De Calais. The right dreamed of the swastika back up in the Akropolis.

Compared to last year we have made some progress. The stats are as follows: [a] 2013-14 with 33 matches played, total points = 72 2014-15 with 33 matches playes, total points = 77 Against the major four opponents Arsenal, Man. City, Man. United and Liverpool: 2013-14 in 7 matches 17 points 2014-15 in 7 matches 14 points I 'm not counting the match Chelsea v. Liverpool because this year's is yet to be played (n.b. 2-1 win last year). [c] Europe. More or less the same. Last year we were drawn against a weak opponent for the stage of 16 (Galata Saray) and for the stage of 8 we were lucky against Paris Saint Germain (aggregate score 3-3, away goal ours). This year we played against the French team for the stage of 16 and this time they were lucky (aggregate score 3-3, away goal theirs). Although the opposition at home was not good enough, statistic demonstrates that we did not take direct advantage of it, so Chelsea did really improve overall. The improvement is some 15% I 'd say and if a similar amount of progress is registered in 2015-16 it will be fine.

It's a strange thing with the Armenians and I 'm curious why Turkey responds negatively. It happened in 1915 and it was partly instigated by the Germans. World war I German militarists were not nazis but were n't far from it either. Later, Kemal Ataturk the founder of the modern Turkish state, condemned the atrocities and punished numerous of the perpetrators. In today's world if you ask the Germans about the holocaust, they condemn it. If you ask the Italians about the torpedoing of Elli flagship by the fascists, they condemn it. So why Turkey has a problem about what is in any case a historical fact ?
