http://www.elconfidencial.com/deportes/futbol/2014-04-12/mourinho-se-ha-asegurado-un-acuerdo-con-diego-costa-para-la-proxima-temporada_115807/ Spanish press reporting its done but I won't hold my breath. I thought his buy-out clause was lower than the 60 million Euros mentioned in that article.

Henrique hates our best players. Even Hazard came in for similar treatment, just ignore him. Saying Matic is a one dimensional DM when he's probably the most multi-dimensional DM in football today alongside Busquets shows how utterly and completely clueless you are. Matic in Benfica lead Europe's DM's in "Key passes" for two years and already has a bunch of key passes and even assists for us since he joined. It's a huge bonus for us that our holding midfielder is also a creator as well Anyone with eyes can see his deep-lying playmaking skills and passing range are superb. But you love the attention don't you? That's why you always come up with this stuff.

I agree. The thing about Stevie me though is regardless of what he does he never gets booked. If i'm correct, a booking against Norwich (accumulation of yellow cards) rules him out of their match with us. He's been on 4 yellow cards for like 5-6 games now. Refs don't have the balls to book him.

Personally I could care less if Jose shook his hand or not.
-
Garry Monk was asked about it in the post match interview and he said Mourinho didn't shake his hand, so I'm not speculating.
-
Henderson will probably be suspended though, so they will start a real holding midfielder in Lucas Leiva. But I agree with your thought process. Fatigue is the biggest issue for us.

Toure is out for the rest of the season apparently but Aguero is coming back. Having said that, you're right. At this stage, Liverpool is a greater threat and we have our destiny in our hands against them

He looked really pissed all game and just bolted off after the final whistle. No handshake. No media appearances too. Perhaps he was disappointed by the fact that we needed subs to overcome a 10 man Swansea. Again.

Liverpool again getting all the decisions and "luck". It seems the powers that be are hell bent on giving them the title this season. How Suarez was not booked for diving and sent off for a second yellow, I will never know. Man City should also have had two penalties. But I can't complain because a Liverpool win suits us the most. Still, one can't help but to hope for a fair ref when we go to Anfield.

Am I missing something. Man City have two games in hand. If they win both, they go 1 point ahead of us, so we are still relying on them to draw one more game.

We don't agree on some stuff but this actually had me laughing hard.

Let's hope there's nothing broken there. The part above the gash looks like cut skin as opposed to bones sticking out.

Not exactly. Oscar and Willian assists in EPL with over 55 games between them = 4 assists Matic assists in EPL after 11 games = 4 assists. 4 assists in 11 games/10 starts for a holding midfielder is pretty incredible, especially in this Chelsea team. In my eyes our second best player behind Eden.
-
Seriously starting to entertain the idea of Ramires being sold this season. The future Chelsea is supposed to be a passing team built around creativity. Ramires sticks out like a sore thumb in this Chelsea.
-
Fair play to the guy, he scored and he has again shown to be a much better player than Torres, but that isn't saying much. However, I wasn't thoroughly impressed with his general play. He was to easily marked out and he just stood like a lamp-post at times. He seems like the short term answer for our remaining away matches this season though I fully expect and want to see Eto'o start the home games, especially the big one against Atletico Madrid.
-
Actually thought he had a good game today. He was easily better than both Schurrle and Willian and the evidence for that was it wasn't him that was subbed out at half-time but Schurrle. The only thing he lacked was the finish and maybe some of his decision making was a bit naive, but these things come with experience. My biggest fear about Salah was just how good he was, but he's more than alleviated those fears. Very very talented player and he could go on to be one of our best once he gains some more experience of English football.
-
Better than expected is the key word, bro. It's a shame some ignorant people will still slander him for missing a sitter in his FIRST away game in the most physically demanding league in the world despite the fact that he has two goals in his last two games and despite the fact that he showed good movement around the box and got himself into goalscoring situations. Something that a 25 year old 30 million pound Willian seems incapable of doing. If Hazard wasn't injured, Salah won't even start this game. Jose has said he is a player for next season and we see why. Very, very talented but stilll raw and still adapting to English football.
-
A lot of our players are still raw and new to the physicality of the league. Salah, Schurrle, Willian , Oscar even. The likes of Ramires clearly aren't good enough for a passing team. I think we must be patient with them. They will learn. I was impressed with Salah today, despite some of his misses. Once he gets used to the league, the kid is going to be something else. It's amazing that we are still fighting for the title with the nucleus of the team built around young players. 3 points, now I believe the destiny of the league is in our hands. Having said that, we are going to need Eden to stand a good chance of winning at Anfield. This is why he is our player of the season and extremely key to everything good we do in the attacking third of the pitch.
-
A lot of our players are still very raw it shows
-
Bad pass really. Not Eto'o fault
-
Honestly this game would have been over by now if Hazard was on the pitch
-
Iva is not a fullback. All the green grass in the world to run into but he does some meek cross 45 yards from goal. Terrible
-
After the red card, all the 50-50's are going Swansea's way. Hate that shit.
-
That's some Man-love from E That's some man love from Eden. 4000 retweets in 4 minutes too!

Are you guys watching on Sky Sports??? The commentators were so sad when we scored, lol. Golden.
