I see you're picking and choosing plus points as you see fit. A few good months, aka reaching back-to-back CL finals, and boasts the best CL win ratio over 50 games. I needn't say more. Lukaku was HIS signing... 🤣 Just rewatch the Carabao Cup final and tell me how that defeat was his fault.

Potter has a habit of changing formations on a regular basis, so the formation argument could well be irrelevant should he stay on. It's the lesser of two evils at this point.

That's what happens when money is the driving force. Mbappe is the only notable name that might have joined because of his obvious connection to the club, but him turning down RM on multiple occasions wasn't based on footballing reasons. The driving forces were the front three. The bottom line is that; it's up to you to decide if you want to disregard it. I have no idea why you're using Carlo as an example to support your point since he had a track record before joining us. Also, look at Xavi's & Arteta's record in Europe for starters; the former has failed to get out of the CL group stages for TWO seasons in a row. To answer your question, Tuchel. I know there's no chance of either party building bridges, so I'm at a loss in that regard. I'd personally wait till the summer at the very least to assess our options before making any hasty decisions, even if we sack Potter in the meantime.

For starters, are you really comparing this Messi to the one that was at Barcelona? 🤣 Also, there's a reason that front three hasn't worked - none of them are a CF.

His track record. He had the best strike force to grace modern-day football, so that stat isn't nearly as impressive as you might believe.

It's a sad predicament we're in. I'd hoped Slonina would at least be in the matchday squads with Mendy being out. No idea what is planned for him at this point. Mendy is far from the GK that lifted the CL. He ultimately got us knocked out last year. We need shot of both, tbh.

Do we need flashbacks of RM last year?

We were nowhere near because Lampard was leading the team for half the season, not because of Tuchel's shortcomings. This idea of long-term managers needs to be reassessed at this point. Boehly has pumped plenty of cash into the club within a short time scale, so we need to deliver something sooner rather than later.

We managed to beat Pep's amazing City side three times in the same season. I believe if Tuchel had been backed, he would have built a team capable of competing on all fronts.

I still feel like Maignan is probably the best all-around option.

I guess the countless numbers of replies aren't getting the point across. He really isn't the answer. We'll play some attractive football, but we'll be found out when it really matters.

My bad. Stupidity is contagious. A CM for a winger makes perfect sense.
-
Gallagher is a box to box, Felix is an AM. It isn't hard to understand.
-
Potter still thinks he's at Brighton. It's inexcusable.
-
He brought a CM on for a winger. There's a few words for ya. 🙄
-
The bias you've shown towards Potter is farcical at this point. He wanted to hold out with 30 mins left against relegation candidates at HOME!
-
A number of people could be blamed for throwing away two points, but it's hard to look past Potter. It started when the XI was announced and continued throughout.
-
The definition of a coward. Gallagher on with 30 mins remaining!?
-
Our CAPTAIN! 😑 KK has been dire today as well. Sold himself with minutes remaining.

I'd say Bayern, PSG, United, and us are potential suitors. Barca & RM could be in the mix, but I think they both have their own stumbling blocks (Endrick joining the latter has muted such talk). Bayern broke their traditional habits by buying de Ligt, & I'm sure they'd see Osimhen in a similar light. Also, they made it known that a CF is high on the agenda, with talk of even Kane circling around. The key factor that could decide things is Osimhen's vocal admiration/desire to play in the EPL; he's built for it.
-
He's arguably the best CF around. Such a price is to be expected, but I'm sure we could get him for less, whether it involves a player (Kepa, Broja, etc.) or pressure from both parties.
-
If he manages to win another European trophy despite all his recent antics, he'll be back among the top managers around.
-
If we're going to go all the way, we'll have to do it the hard way. This RM side are more than beatable, as we've shown in previous years. The less said about the other side of the draw, the better. Napoli won't have a better chance of reaching a European final.

AZ Alkmaar beat Lazio home and away. I rarely follow goings on in the Eredivisie nowadays, but they seem to be building a promising squad from U-21 to their main team.
