We bought him to spite Tottenham IMO. No way is he worth £32m!

He would be a great signing for any club including us, but it ain't going to happen. If he comes back to the Prem, City will more than likely meet his demands.

City's defence did a job on him yesterday, but he still looked lively from time to time. We have to provide more support to him in other big games this season, and I am sure we will thrive throughout the season.

Chance for all our fringe players to be given some game time, and try to make an impact. We should win comfortably at the Bridge!

Is that a jibe?I wasn't referring to a player we bought for £12m and has hardly been given a chance, but someone we bought for £30m, and is useless IMO.

Looking at the squad on the whole, we probably need a few more signings than we originally thought, with some deadwood going out the door.
