He was outstanding on Tuesday, but let's not jump the gun.

To think the one decent player Vitesse have had in recent years (MVG hasn't done much yet), we pass up on him. A mistake IMO, but that's the thing with hindsight.

The only plus about signing him would be, adding another player to our HG quota. We already have two able RB's.

You weren't the only one. There's no doubt that he isn't starting quality, and that's beyond a joke considering how much we paid for him. He was bought to spite Tottenham. That's the bottom line, IMO.

I far as I was aware, if a player plays in Europe, he's cup tied. Similar situation happened when Forlan went to Inter.

We want a steady line up throughout the season. Not one RWF on a Tues/Wed, and another at the weekend. Also, I'm not sure £25m+ is a reasonable price for most.

I doubt that's the case, unless UEFA changed the rules.
