Needless insult. Have you ACTUALLY seen him play this season? The fact he isn't playing is because he isn't at the same level as he was during Pep's days. That guy would be starting, but he's no longer close to that form. The fact that the case ahead of him are that good just makes it's harder.

Their style didn't change much during the two seasons, but they improved and brought in reinforcements. No one knows if Jupp would have continued dominating on both fronts, but they put in place deals before he had even left to make them even stronger.Pep is too set on keeping possession and that is one of the reasons they lose that cutting edge. If they don't have width, they will be found out easily. They have now lost 3 games in just over a week.

Letting Jupp go was the worst thing they did IMO. They weren't fully concerned about having the ball for the sake of it, but making the most of it when they had it. They were lethal on the counter. In addition, their squad has only improved since then, but they have gone backwards along with rivals improving.

Better to use him as a bargaining tool for Pogba.

We should be able to spend quite a bit thanks to our recent transfer business, but we'll have to wait and see.

I don't think it's a ridiculous figure, but we have to remember we need to improve in other areas as well. I personally think Pogba and Bale are needed to make us unbeatable, as we have been way too reliant on Hazard for numerous chunks of the season. In the real world, we'll only get one. Either player would be a massive boost to our starting XI. Our summer business should be interesting.

He's the best choice for the right price. I would love to see him alongside Matic, but can't/shouldn't compete with RM and PSG in a bidding war. £40m plus a player is still a lot, but we shouldn't go over that.

I don't think money means everything to him. If things haven't changed, he's on a very low wage currently at Juve (£20-40k). I personally think he'll be off to PSG, despite some people thinking it's unthinkable for one reason or another.
