How on earth did it take them that long to make such a straightforward decision? I was worried about Enzo taking it. Thought Joao Pedro would have been the nailed on choice on the field.
-
It's a shame that isn't the final play of the game. Nice to see us make the most of set pieces again.
-
Who is on the field to feed them? Enzo is not a playmaker. When will Maresca realise that?
-
Which he isn't. I'm sure if we had a top quality WF on the bench, Joao Pedro would have gone centrally. It's a sign over the entire squad.

It worked at Craven Cottage 🙄 The fact George (who we've shopped around) has been brought on ahead of Gittens. What message does that send after only three games?
-
He was supposedly a doubt to begin with. It's stupid to risk someone of his importance.

We've be fortunate two weeks in a row. Let's not forget West Ham were denied a second. No idea how we were caught so open at the 20 min mark, though.
-
The moment Delap pulled it, the mood switched. That should be a foul on Trev, tbh.

I literally have no idea what's going on here. There surely can't be a shortage of offers, so it leads me to believe they are just trying to milk every penny out of potential sponsors. The longer we don't have one, the more it affects us financially. We just became world champions and have a history of winning. Comparing us to Arsenal is a sad sight, all things considered.

It's still crazy to me that they gave him the responsibility of taking a 90th minute pen in the semi final play off match. That shows how much faith they have in him and his ability.
-
If we're signing "squad players" for £48.5m & rising, we're doing something terribly wrong.

Emery is a huge fan of Jackson. It comes down to how financing would work for both teams considering the scrutiny that surrounds us both. Not to mention, the Kellyman deal raised eyebrows to begin with. Looking out of Simons is a big deal for me, as long as we get the former. Fermin is too much of a gamble, and Wharton isn't an eight. The thought of signing him and pushing Enzo higher permanently would be a massive concern.

If he doesn't end up succeeding here, it won't have anything to do with his lack of drive or mentality. Extremely impressive for a 17 year old. Any chance of his own thread, @Vesper ?

Second game into the season.
-
They have been for the last few windows. At some point, they have to win something or they'll remain a laughing stock.
-
And probably end the season empty handed again. I guess the new Puma balls will be at fault for that.
-
I'm sure it will accelerate any move for Donnarumma should the score remain.
-
I feel Paqueta would have a place, tbh. Diouf looks like a decent buy as well (I'm sure you mentioned him before), only 20 too.
-
Nice to see us being clinical and come back from an early setback.
-
Whatever they feel like. The inconsistency in the PL is the worst.
-
I know they've been dire, but to have walkouts after only two league games (less than a week of the season gone) is shameful. If Potter doesn't get sacked ASAP, the owners are more daft than they look.

Enjoy the cameo while it last. (Please stay fit)

I agree. I would have just taken Enzo or Joao Pedro off. This is a defensive minded change.
-
I'm happy Santos is on. Just thought keeping Delap on to get a goal would have been the better call.

How bad can you be at defending corners?
