Losing another promising CB that is more than capable of doing a job would be dreadful.

Would be shocked if he joined up with Mourinho after his time here. I expect his move back to us will be announced before the week is over.

Plenty. I'm not opposed to every player, but going for someone that has struggled in La Liga to start with isn't an ideal option.

That's very disappointing in all fairness. More of a business than anything else in that regard. Only player we've bought young and has become a starter (in recent times) is Thibo.

I guess you could say that, but it seems like most players that are bought/come out of the academy just aren't good enough to be thrown in. Musonda's time in Spain wasn't exactly a massive success for a few reasons, so what were the chances Conte would use him. My thoughts exactly with the few exceptions being hyped up for no real reason. The loan set up right now seems to auditions for other clubs rather than Conte (and managers gone).

You have to wonder why so many promising youngsters haven't made it here.

He's arguably worse than Manolas. No idea why we aren't going all in for one CB and give the options we currently have a go.

I've seen plenty of Roma in the last two years to know he's a decent buy at the rumoured price, but has several flaws in his game. Has lapses in concentration on a regular basis that would need to be worked on fast, as we've had enough of them with Cahill. Seems like the best option we've been linked with, though.

Not a bad move at that price, but it means Christensen's chances will be even more limited. VVD for £60m+ or Manolas for £30m~ is a no brainer, though.

Sell Willian as has been rumoured and go for one. £35m & a player for Vitolo is farcical.

Don't need another winger that is of the same standard or arguably worse. Spend big for WC talent and leave it.

Looks like he's following Traore out of the club. Not great to see talented youngsters leave the club. Hope someone is going to get an extended run in the upcoming season.
