Pasalic played regularly for Elche, Monaco & AC Milan but still hasn't been given a look in. Mount either needs a good loan in the Premiership (seems extremely unlikely going by the club's track record in that record) or make his name at an elite club to stand any chance of becoming a regular here. I'm going off the notion our next manager will give youth a look in. There's a list of players more deserving than Baka, Drinkwater, Zappacosta, etc of game time that are already on our books.

We've created chances but he's been wasteful. You only need to look at his conversion rate (with his feet) & big chances wasted to see the obvious. However, it's always easy to pass someone's inability onto another individual/s.

None of those points have a direct affect on a striker's finishing or lack of. Matic alongside Kante this season would have had no bearing on Morata's numbers IMO. The points you made are more valid as to why we finished 5th instead of defending our title.

Only realistic option would be the Championship for that to happen but just look at how that's worked out. A youngster has to be moulded within the club at some point.

There's little to no difference between our squad this season or last, yet Costa still scored 20 goals whilst going missing after January. I don't think anyone in their right mind can say Morata has taken more chances than he's missed. His performance at Arsenal will live long in the memory for sure

He's an impact player no matter how you look at it. Did Juve & Madrid not give him enough time either? We need a striker that offers something on a consistent basis, whether it be goals, assists or just a presence.

Fine to rip Bakayoko to shreds but people are "fickle" for doing the same to Morata, who cost twice as much. Give it a rest

Traore scored 18 whilst at Vitesse & was a year younger. Players doing well in the Eredivise or anywhere for that matter whilst on loan means very little in regards to their prospects of making it here. The one thing he seems to have over other players is, the desire to make it here. Lets see if that will amount to anything over the next few years.
