  1. Not sure if the news is good or bad
  2. He's one of our bigger names that I wouldn't mind parting with, providing a good replacement is lined up beforehand. There certainly isn't a shortage right now. Think we have all had enough of his media comments.
  3. I never said that and one quote would suffice. Pep is after a striker that he likes & could share the workload. Aguero isn't his type of striker, which is evident to whoever has seen City play.
  4. Aguero leaves, they'll get a replacement. Simple To reiterate, there are a NUMBER of big clubs that need a CF. That's the discussion wrapped up
  5. It does, but he can't be expected to play 50+ games (putting potential injuries aside too). It will be dependent on Pep desire to field false nine or not to ease the workload, as I previously mentioned. Certainly wouldn't have a lack of options in that regard with the seemingly impending arrival of Mahrez.
  6. Neither of us know either way. I would just like think someone that's 30 in matter of days would want to be playing at their peak regardless of their current situation. He could even be a replacement for Lewandowski. There certainly isn't a shortage of potential suitors.
  7. Some players value playing time more than a pay check. However, I doubt his wages would be drastically different.
  8. He could take a cut and return to Atletico, should the inevitable Griezmann transfer happen. PSG or Real are options as well
  9. I would be very surprised if Aguero remained at City. Clearly isn't first choice and he's far too good to be a bench player
  10. City, unless Pep has intentions for playing a false nine for large parts of the season.
  11. Potential £50m fee plus 20-30m is where I got that price tag from. This Dortmund side aren't at the level they were under Klopp, so that's why I said average in comparison. This conversation is about preference at the end of the day, and I would much rather prefer us to spend a similar fee on someone like Fekir; has a two good seasons under his belt, more than promise at this point and has delivered in Europe. RLC was chosen to go the WC, so that says enough about how players are perceived over here.
  12. We are becoming more of mess as each window goes by. If Marina heads our dealings, she needs to be replaced ASAP.
  13. I respectfully disagree. Talent is certainly there but we shouldn't think about spending £70m~ on that alone when better players with a track record are readily available for less. Where do you see the "LOL"? I never diminished his talent or potential, but to think he's worth £70m at 19 having shown flashes at an average Dortmund is what I find hilarious. Dembele outshone him in a season and rightfully earned a move on the back of it. Bayern are interested in most players that show promise in Germany. There's a reason they bought Gnabry, despite him being an Arsenal reject.
  14. They have no backup for their attacking options. Saturday was evident of that and Fekir is just talk as of now (isn't a replacement for any of them too).
  15. Michy plus £20-30m isn't value. Could spend half of that, get Bailey and spend the rest on someone else. He certainly is a decent player but hyped because of his nationality.
  16. I was referring to PSG. There's no way Ronaldo will end his career Real, one way or another.
  17. Would be the smart move. However, we know a "name/brand" normally comes first when Real are concerned.
  18. Bale's heroics tonight has probably thrown a spanner in the works for Zidane & Perez. His value has risen thanks to that cameo, for sure.
  19. It's the perfect time to do so. Think there's more to it than another pay rise
  20. Ok. I expect them to go all in for him, if Ronaldo isn't bluffing.
  21. Utd have money but not that much. Neymar is probably off to Real & Ronaldo going the other way. He's the star player, not the only player.
  22. Another player with "potential". Unless Sarri is going to give our youth players a go, we should be interested in players with a more experience that can hopefully take us to the next level.
  23. He's not even at the level Hazard was at when he joined, so to say he's close now is going overboard.
  24. Fair enough. I've seen Ziyech play quite a bit for Morocco & Ajax over the years to see his talent. Sarri isn't going to transform someone overnight IMO. He's similar to Cahanoglu, another one we were heavily linked to before his ban and has since gone to Milan with mixed reviews. I'd still prefer Nainggolan to fill that area for the right price (£20-25m).
