  1. Not so sure about that. Juve's slip up doesn't matter much with the above dropping points as well.
  2. Always seemed like the wrong move tbh. Napoli weren't exactly short of wingers, so I was surprised he joined them ahead of others.
  3. Inter drop more points. Lazio are only 3 points off 2nd with two games in hand.
  4. Atalanta were irresistible last night. This was one of the golazos - Scored 7 for the second time this season (could have easily been 10+ had it not been for Sirgu).
  5. Rodgers said it's supposedly not too serious, but you never know whether managers are just downplaying things or not. I think at worst, he'll start on the bench.
  6. Neither should start. Pulisic should be our AM when fit.
  7. Crawl over the line. Need a CF signed in the next 6 days
  8. Shouldn't be surprised by the officiating in England at this point.
  9. There's been little to no character in this side since the last of the old guard left.
  10. No matter who it's against, Alonso will get done near the box at some point.
  11. Hopefully we can eventually kick on in a game and grab another or two.
  12. Same old. Game should be done and dusted already.
  13. Going by Conte's past and present, he'd kick up a fuss at some point. The Costa situation was the end of him IMO.
  14. He worked wonders with us as well. Let's see how things progress.
  15. Hopefully we won't have much issue against this pub side. [emoji57]
  16. I thought Haaland was just another teen after scoring NINE at the U20 WC as abysmal opponents. However, his recent exploits have made me think twice.
  17. Practice makes perfect. We can only hope refs in the PL learn by the time the next decade rolls around. [emoji1]
  18. True, but I could easily have seen another AVB situation. Lampard is very fortunate right now going by managers before him. Anything hot in the Bundesliga/German normally ends up at Bayern (Klopp seemingly being the exception for now).
  19. They qualified for CL in the last two seasons. He's made them more competitive with the help of funds (€100m+ along with players like Sanchez still on a hefty wage). You have to take everything into consideration. They failed to beat Slavia Prague at home & lost to a Barca B side that had nothing to play for. C'mon on.
  20. Haven't they been using it the longest (in Europe) , though?
  21. There'd have been even more uproar about inexperience had he joined. Not to mention, we would have probably sacked him the moment things went sideways.
  22. I don't think he's done anything revolutionary. Failed to get out a rather average CL group despite having fate in their own hands and still seem a way off Juve IMO. If Lazio can keep the momentum going, I think they would be a better shout to make things interesting. That would be something. Nagelsmann's stock would be through the roof if that happened.
  23. He'd still be rotated rather than being a certified starter (right now as I previously mentioned). I believe the language barrier could be the deciding factor more than anything for someone of his age. Either way, we can't cope with one backup CF and most at the club know that.
